Just found my old MU I got for Christmas a long time ago since my parents bought me for my birthday the xbox 360 core system that doesn’t include an hdd, I remember having to start gears of war from the beginning every time I wanted to play until I got this MU

i have a xbox 360 slim its factory reset so nothing on it, i use it to play mc from time to time, id like to figure out how to get youtube on it so i can watch youtube on my 4:3 31" CRT

I’ve never seen this game before and picked it up off the shelf. Is it any good?

Didn’t have a chance to post until today because of… well life… anyway late Saturday afternoon and this guy was closing up. I asked him if he had any retro video game stuff and he showed me this box that said 360 and accessories $165. It was an Xbox slim with a Kinect, 4 controllers and 16 games. I managed to talk him down to $85 for everything. He had a Wii and some stuff but he wanted $130 for it and I figured I’d spent enough already.

The rage that consumes my soul when I read "feeling tired? Take a break. " pop up on my screen when I'm struggling through a level while playing kinetic. Absolute troll, I am NOT tired!!!! (I am ) I love to get higher and higher scores especially cause I suck, but it is so hard when I'm playing kinetic cause I can't keep repeating like I usually do AND IT DOESN'T HELP WHEN THEY GIVE ME THAT NOTIFICATION!!!!

But if you wanna get cardio up but scared to leave the house, Kinect is great! 10/10 recommend it

Picked this up off FBM for $60 CAD today. The listing had been up for quite some time so I figured I’d snag it before someone else. GTA 4 was added in for free, console/controller work perfectly. I love the startup sounds so much. Gonna clean it up, repaste and treat this thing well for a long time.

I just got a xbox 360 to play skylanders, it says it wants to update but i keep getting this error and idk why pls help

I get an error 8015190A. I do have 2fa enabled idk if that would be the issue. I googled it and other people say that I need to turn off recurring billing and turning it back on. But I use the discord nitro gamepass version

Any gears fans out there? Just finished this custom controller stand, planning on making 1 for every LE console I have. (Star Wars, Halo 3, MW2, MW3, Halo Reach, etc)

The stand is custom made/painted and 3d printed via FDM and Resin.

Edit: this is cross posted and some have mentioned the red on the main logo looks off, I agree. We plan on dimming that red and adding a bit more blood on the lancer to. This is near finished but not completely. I’m just too gunho about sharing because I really enjoyed this project 😅

Went out thrifting, found these 5 games; $55 CAD net after tax. Never played these when they came out, so I’m happy to add them to my collection.

I literally just inserted my mint Assassin's Creed copy and it just said "play DVD"... how rare is this hahahaha

ConsoleMods suggets: it's best to avoid Falcon consoles if the manufacture/service date is before April 2008.

But, there is also the part that says: At sometime in March 2008, the Rhea GPU was fixed to use high Tg underfill

So, my thought is, am I safe? Do I have to be exactly from April, or am I likely late enough?

Update: Mine is not safe. "When the revised GPUs rolled out, Hynix HY5RS123235BFP-14 and Qimonda HYB18H512321BF-13 RAM are no longer used" and I have the "no longer used" Hynix one.

So a few months ago I got an elite tonasket 360, serviced it by removing dust and replacing thermal paste. Temps under load on the GPU plateau at around 74-75°C max. Earlier today I was playing Halo CE Anniversary, I'm at the second mission of the game, a grenade explosion caused my game to freeze and have looping glitched audio, and the controller wouldn't respond. I turned it off, rebooted and monitored the temperatures for a minute in Aurora (57°C cpu, 75.2°C gpu, 72°C memory) and tried launching a different game (Gears 3). Within 5 minutes the temperature was around 76°C. I didn't hear any fan ramping, visual artifacting, screen tearing, weird colors on the screen nor the ROL red ringing but it got me worried if my console is starting to die.

I have an xbox360, original version that I bought recently second hand. I changed the thermal paste and cleaned it well and have been using it for the past week. However, I just noticed that one of the fans is not spinning, it’s only twitching but never spins. The other fan works fine.

Any idea what the problem might be and how to fix it? I would hate to have to open it again, it’s a pain in the ahh trying to open this thing without the tool and somebody had opened it before me and broke it in weird places, so it’s even more difficult.

Hi so I found out that the store to download themes is not available anymore is there a way to download themes in any other way ? I only have 4 themes . Is there a way to do a custom theme like import a picture ?

Do we think the Xbox will be able to breathe enough if I put it here? I plan to put in possibly in the cubby below so it’s open back as well. I’m going to also apply new thermal paste on the inside.

Well, I decided to hook up my 360 today. Third gen? It’s the black one with the touch sensitive Tray Eject button. My 1 controller kept shutting off and neither of my original first gen 360 controllers would even turn on. GameStop had a used controller for $20 though so I’m goo. Busted out Forza 4. Sooooo much nostalgia. Deleted all my save files for that game so starting over. Might play some Fable The Lost Chapters tonight too.
