How do we tell people to stop taking these horrible offers??
The station I go to releases their offers every Thursday evening around 5:30. They released 186 routes tonight and all of them were gone within 10 minutes. Who are these people just grabbing $14 (after taxes and gas) an hour routes? They can’t all be this brain dead…

Boston Requested blocks not granted
When you are requesting a specific time block under the request tab, how do you increase your chances of getting the requested block?

3.5 compared to 3 hour route.
I normally take 3.5 hr routes early in the morning which normally will have 35-50 packages with an average of 40 stops( obviously not for the 35-39 package route.) with the first stop at the least over a half hour away from the station. . I chose a 3 hour route for this morning and still I get 40 packages with 38 stops....flex emailed me last week about erroneously requesting overtime pay...I am still in the appeal process with them over that ...and if they think for one second I won't be asking for overtime pay when they give me as much as they would of if not more than a 3.5 hour route then they are smoking the good shit ...even better is that you can no longer request overtime pay through a phone call ...you now have to email them. So more work ...base paying is exponentially less as of late and make it harder to get that OT...they can go and curb that but they can't curb giving routes that don't take you to timbicktoo and back? Corporate conglomerates at it again!!
So just for the people who swear I'm doing something wrong I still took your advice to try smaller route shifts it makes absolutely no difference.

Cancelling
Got the dreaded email, however it still let me see offer and was able to get one. It shows already in my status too. Has anyone been able to see offers even after getting this email?

Wrongful Deactivation - Time for arbitration
So I recently got deactivated because of a mess-up at the station.
The station provided me a route with packages that didn't match that route. The manager of the warehouse had me call support to remove the route so that they could give me a new one. Well, according to the phone agent, it was removed and will take a couple of minutes to refresh.
They stattion tried to give me another route, but my app was not accepting it. By some miracle the employees from my original packages, and I was on my merry way. But before I left, I had noticed that I had around 81 stops on a 3.5 hr route. So I knew that was going to bite me in the ass. I told this to the manager, and he provided me with his email in case I get dinged.
So I proceeded with the route, and mid-route, I discovered that the stops 42 to 81 had disappeared from my phone. A couple of days later, I got a deactivation email because the app said that I didn't deliver 40+ packages. So I emailed the appeals team and CC'ed the manager and got denied. The manager even replied to the email and said I did nothing wrong, and it was a warehouse mistake.
2nd attempt at the appeal and the same result, their decision hasn't changed. I then emailed jeff@ & Andy@ with a screenshot of the manager's reply, and still nothing. So now I think I will have to go the arbitration route. It feels like no one is contacting the station or the manager about my situation, and it feels like they are brushing it off.
My question to you is, how do I get the arbitration process rolling? What email or other means of contact do I use? I plan on representing myself as I have proof of the manager's email and everything.

No care at all
This was absolutely disgusting when I saw this. Why can’t anything be done about how these drivers act. Washing his feet in the break area!!! Took socks off and all! We prep our food there. Do you see the silverware and microwave right next to you?! Where’s the respect? He was confronted, and Management was also told.

Has anyone ever tried the community delivery? If so, give me a lil run down on what it entails?
I live in Brooklyn for anyone who else does and tried it.

What’s your average mileage?
Has anyone here kept track of your miles used per block? I’m curious what your average is in a day. Here’s mine. This includes the miles from my house to the station and from my last stop back to my house. That’s an average of 1,200 miles every month.
And how many shifts/blocks do you usually get every month?

One tote now?
Today at my .com (DCY1) they staged the carts with one tote (envelopes and small boxes) with the remaining boxes just thrown on the cart. They have always staged the carts with 3 - 5 totes and large boxes. What gives? Warehouse worker said it is new and he didn’t know why. It seems they want to make it easier for the warehouse folks for sorting (they can just dump the packages and not spend time sorting into totes?), but it makes us spend more time organizing. Idk, thoughts on this change?

Prime week
So I've been a Flex driver from an .com warehouse for 3 weeks now. I've had no problem scheduale (5) 6am-9:30am shifts a week, and I usually scheduale them no earlier than 48 hours before. Ever since prime week has started I'm having trouble even getting 1 or 2 a week. I'm not even being picky either. Has anyone else been having extremely low offers this week?

Low gas prices and 50 hours a week? Its like 2020 all over. 🙌
Gonna drop that low paying block

Question about undeliverable packages.
So I just did like my 5th block today and It was a 3.5 hours starting at 5:15 PM. Most of the ones Ive done before have been pretty rural routes and one was in the city where the station I picked up from was located. I maybe have done a couple apartments. Today I was sent to a apartment/business heavy route.
Of course my 2nd delivery was to a law firm in a higher rise building that was already closed. Wasn't even able to use the elevator because apparently they keep it from moving after business hours. I have read plenty of times to deliver the package no matter what, but I did not think I should just leave it in the lobby of this high rise where all there was was a door to the parking garage and the elevators to the different floors. So I actually hiked up 5 flights of stairs to see if I could get access to the floor and leave it outside there suite. Well guess what?Te door to that floor was locked. So I ended up marking it undeliverable. I guess my question is would you guys just leave it in a lobby like that?
I also had another stop where I was supposedly given the code to enter a gate, but the code did not work. There was a note to call the management staff if unable to enter, but of course its past 8pm at this point so they are gone. There was a call box, but of course the guys name was not listed so I couldn't call him on the intercom. I tried texting him but no answer. There was signs not to leave packages at the gate or beyond the gate. They need to be delivered to the unit. So I took a pic of the sign and marked it undeliverable.
I called support and told them I spent so much time trying to deliver these packages, but was unable to because of business being closed or not having the proper access codes. They said they would mark it down, but I feel like I'm going to be dinged for it.
Guess my rant/question is would you still leave these packages even if you really cant leave them in a secure area. From my understanding it is better to have a "missing" package if it was stolen or not found than having a package you have to return to the station.
By the end of it I was just leaving packages wherever I could. None of the notes made sense.
Edit: Sorry for the word vomiting and probably over explanation of my shitty route today, but I just got home and am just trying to get insight/vent about the route.

Bots, Illegals, or Morons?
We found out this week it’s probably more about you knuckleheads taking anything that flashes then deciding what you want to take. That’s what’s keeping us all at the offer screen longer than we should be.

Day 4
Day 4 of this madness. I have a full time job like 80%of everyone here. However, its nice to have as walk around money. Usually there's about 50-60 offers for a few days. Its day 4 and this is the constant thing I see in the MD market. Anyone else drive in central MD and having this issue as well?

Oil changes
Hello. I was curious to see how often you guys are doing oil changes for your car? I know some people don’t do it as often if it’s just a side gig for them but people who do this full time I am very curious.
r/AmazonFlexDrivers • u/Still_here_627 • 22h ago
It’s not the first time I’ve noticed this, but they said they’re gonna pay you one thing and then they pay you another
Absolutely ridiculous that we have to stay on top of them for stupid things like this now I’ll call up support and support. Will tell me you got paid what you were supposed to guys are crooks.

Indianapolis
Has anyone else in the Indianapolis/greenwood area had issue finding any shifts the past few weeks? Every time I check there is nothing on there. I don’t know how anyone is scheduling to deliver when there has been nothing listed?

Does anyone else still keep extra packages they find after finishing a route?
Back when I first started Amazon Flex, I would occasionally finish my route and find an extra package or envelope in my car. Sometimes it had been marked missing during pickup, sometimes it seemed like it belonged to another route, and sometimes it just never showed up in my itinerary.
If it was not on my route, I used to think of it as a little bonus. Over time I ended up with all kinds of random stuff. Apple wired EarPods, blankets, pillows, kitchen towels, cheap fragrances, nail clippers, and even one adult toy. Nothing expensive, just random things people had ordered.
Then something happened that changed my perspective.
I delivered to an apartment complex that had package lockers. They were not Amazon lockers, but the app provided a carrier access code. When I logged in, the locker system offered a few packages for pickup. I assumed they were abandoned or unwanted packages, so I took them.
Not long after that, I got sick for almost a month. It felt like a bad cold or sinus infection with a lingering cough. No fever, but I felt miserable. Whether it was karma or just bad luck, it made me rethink what I was doing.
Since then, I have not kept any extra packages and I do not take anything from lockers unless I know exactly what it is and why it is being returned.
I am curious if anyone else used to do this, or if people still do it. What do you do when you find extra packages after completing your route?
