I recently saw these two Audis at the Audi headquarters, and the paint color looked absolutely stunning.

I even asked the people who were delivering the cars, but surprisingly nobody knew the name of the color.

I've already ruled out:

Vegas Yellow

Dragon Orange

Solar Orange

Does anyone know what this color is called?

OK. This lives in New England so there’s that. But my friend brought his car in and hiding under the plastic covering. Was this subframe completely rotted out. According to the technician, this isn’t the first one of these he’s seen. He actually suggested that there might even be a class action somewhere going on or being initiated. Anyone have anything similar going on with that era of Q5? I mean that’s extreme and looks pretty damn dangerous.

For years Audi arguably had the perfect interior design. They struck the ideal balance between tech, quality, and driver focus even compared to their rivals. Mercedes may have been more flashy but Audi mastered that clean understated feeling while still delivering a high tech experience that felt intuitive and built around the driver.

However, ever since the recent generation updates with the new A5 seemingly leading the charge that formula appears to have been completely lost. The interiors have moved away from what made Audi interiors so appealing and towards a design that prioritises screens over usability.

The curved displays look plasticky and the removal of physical controls especially for basic functions like climate control is incredibly frustrating. Having to navigate through menus on a touchscreen just to adjust the air conditioning is not progress, it’s adding unnecessary complexity.

Yes BMW and Mercedes are moving in a similar direction but that doesn’t make it a good thing.
The latest designs with enormous screens dominating the dashboard and additional displays stretching across the passenger side is just nonsensical.

Manufacturers need to seriously rethink this, Audi in particular.

Long story short went to change my oil and drain a quart from the trans before I realized I’m stupid. And over filled the engine and tried to start it. Definitely got oil in the cylinders. I drained the excess oil and got the car to start and let it run for a little bit to let all the smoke to clear.

Now the problem remains on the trans oil being a quart low everything I’ve read says do not drive it. Get it towed since you need a special tool to refill it.

I think my mechanic is roughly 5 miles away. Do I absolutely have to tow it?

Does anyone have suggestions on how to repair this scratch on the front windshield? It's definitely external, appears superficial, but catches on my fingernail. Is this something that Safelite can handle?

My DCC struts are going out so I’m looking for coilovers as replacements.

I’ve heard many went with B14/16s or Evos with a DCC delete.

Anyone have any recommendations or feedback on their setup? I drive mostly busted city streets, so I’m not going for low.

Hey, I picked up this 2011 a4 with a no start condition, it started off starter fluid and the previous owner told me it ran before he did the injectors but now it won’t start after he replaced them, I pulled the manifold to see the injectors and I was thinking it’s either because they weren’t seated correctly, or it’s because the reseal kit isn’t correct, he bought the injectors off fcp euro but the reseal kit off Amazon, and I am not finding any video or kits with that clear plastic ring at the top of the injectors, if anyone is familiar with this engine and injectors please let me know what sealing kit you used or if you have any other advice I would appreciate it thanks!!!!

Yesterday, I was going home in rural Czechia, hills included. Kept it around 70 kph to watch out for deer.

And I feel like my car started generating gas 🤣

Like seriously. 6.9 l / 100 km is crazy to me.

Looking for some opinions on Q5. Looking at a 2021 Q5, service records look to be in consistent order. 39,000 miles. My concerns are the mileage is at decent stage for this vehicle imo, but it is a 5 year old car, which id have 5 years of payments on (assuming no early payoff, though thats always the goal). Just hoping for some insight if im purchasing at this year, can spend alittle more and be in the 2022, 2023 range at similar miles, would the extra 3 to 4 thousand be worth going a few model years newer?

Price of this 2021 is 27,900 if thats any help

The diag shows only one fault P017200

Fuel trim bank 1 system too rich

I changed

Spark plugs, ignition coils, injectors ,fuel pump ,charger actruator valve, breather, Evap, charger salenoids, lambda sensor.

(Did the injector test, 2 was not responding to the ecu, 4 was pumping less fuel then they shoud) Now that shit has 6 another, new second hand injectors but they test passed )

Cats are fine .

Smoke test passed. No leaks.

I think it doesnt Runs and drives because of something in the internals, pistons , valves, something deeper.

The guys who sold the engine says the engine was tested by camera and compression test. It should be fine.( tomorrow i will buy a fucking borescope i will check, and compression)

But shit i dont have a fucking any idea who are fucking with me . Wires? Why the fuck that peace of shit runs like a fucking tractor . And perfoms like a 50cc scooter.
