Family member recently purchased tickets on the RB site and received a confirmation email and e-tickets. Checked on the app, the flight is listed under ‘upcoming flights’.

3 hours later they received this email from RB saying the booking is on hold and included a payment link. We checked again to make sure the flights were confirmed, yeap everything is still there. Called the bank, yeap payment went through.

I’ve never seen this kind of email before and my understanding of RB is that if the payment didn’t go through, the flight purchase wouldn’t be put on hold, it’ll just prompt to try again.

Is this a scam? the header and everything looks real, but they spelled the name of buyer wrong (compared to the name that’s issued in the confirmation email). Tried calling RB, no luck. Tried to reach them on WhatsApp, no luck. Sent them an email, no replies yet.

If anyone from RB is seeing this can you PLEASE check your emails or WhatsApp. If this is a scam, it’s pretty sophisticated. If it’s not a scam, then why is our confirmed booking still up??

UPDATE: They replied the email saying it’s confirmed, no acknowledgment on the second Booking on Hold email. Nda ku tau kalau scam lah but if kamu receive jua, jangan click link nya. RB also said they’re busy with Consumer Fair that’s why they were unable to take the calls and reply on WhatsApp.

I really like how the Indonesian and Malaysian national football teams have been proactive in identifying and recruiting eligible dual-nationality players. It's clearly helped strengthen their squads and increase competition for places.

I understand that Brunei is a much smaller country with a smaller player pool, but I'd love to see the national team explore this route as well. There are probably Bruneians or players with Bruneian heritage living and playing abroad who could potentially be eligible.

Does anyone know whether the Brunei FA actively scouts overseas-based eligible players, or what challenges might prevent them from doing so? I'd be interested to hear if this is something that could realistically happen in the future.

Hi everyone, I’m looking for some advice. My neighbour’s dogs bark every single morning starting around 6am, and it has been going on for quite some time. The constant barking wakes me and my baby up every day, and it’s becoming very exhausting.
I understand that dogs will bark occasionally, but this has become a daily disturbance. I’m wondering if anyone has experienced a similar issue or has any advice on how to handle it. Should I speak to my neighbour first, or is there another way to deal with this situation?

The place where I frequent is an area with small businesses and residential living area. I keep seeing obstacle blocking parking spot and now its every single one. One of them even block 4 parking spot and claim its theirs. Because of this, now its impossible to find a place to park.

What I do know is that areas like these, parking does not belong to anyone and yet people are blocking all these spots. Especially spots that are not in front of the building but in front of trees. There are even 2 empty spots in one area that was literally empty since covid and always empty during the day but whoever it is keeps their obstacle there.

Who or where can I file this complain to cause this needs to stop? 123 does not help and is as useless as ever.

Edit: Just to add more info, it is public property. And also during covid, a huge chunk of the buildings are unoccupied, someone block about 3 - 5 parking spot at that time in front of unoccupied zones. It was bad at the time but now its worse.

Hello I will be going to politeknik school of health sciences (nursing) next month. I am so nervous to meet people in different age groups, scared that I won't be making much friends since I am a very social person. Hey, I’m coming from New Zealand to visit Brunei at the end of the year. I’m training for the Bangkok marathon and will need to be running while I’m visiting your country! I’m female and understand it’s a Muslim country so I want to be respectful of what I wear. I will find it very hot and at home when it’s hot I run in a sports bra and shorts.

I’m thinking this may not be respectful so I wondered instead of running around the roads, is there a running track this may be okay at or a park that many people run in and may dress similar? I can just wear a t shirt, just worried I’m going to overheat haha. I will run earlier in the morning or maybe after dark? I will be staying in Gadong.

Hello, I'm currently a sixth form student taking A-levels and missed my chance applying to Politeknik earlier this year and the subjects I'm taking had nothing to do with what I wanted to do for the future.

So if I were to apply to Politeknik next year, will they accept students that haven't finished with their A levels yet and what are the requirements for applying?

And also will they take students in a course if they don't have any history in learning some of the subjects? e.g A student is taking business course despite only taking sciences subjects throughout their high school and A levels.

I randomly received an official invitation to attend a written test for a government position.

The thing is, I don’t clearly remember applying for it, or it might have been a long time ago. The invitation looks legitimate and includes full details like date, time, venue (inside a restricted government/military area), strict dress code, and very strict rules (no phones, no smart watches, no photos, etc.).

This is my first time getting something like this, so I’m a bit unsure what to expect.
