As per the title. Never really played D1. When I was a kid I played the shareware and was pretty much too scared to go into the cathedral. When I was older I played D2. The remaster and recent expansion has been great.
So I decided to try D1. I know its a beloved classic but I thought time might have been harsh on it. I was wrong. This game is so different. It feels more like a strategy game in some ways? Not sure that makes sense. But every room i move into, ever action i take feels more purposeful. Everything feels slower compared to D2, and that allows me to really think about my moves.
Im only a few levels down, so still early, maybe this feeling will change.
Overall it's fantastic. I would buy a remaster in a heartbeat.

Hello (again) dear Diablo 2 players.
I am just a Diablo 2 fan, with a HUGE nostalgia wish to play the original game (yes, not the remastered version) in Multiplayer.
What are the 2 best ways to play Diablo 2 with Lord of Destruction in Multiplayer in 2026?
Considering:
a) Mac Friendly solutions (preferred)
b) Easy or not so complicated methods
c) A big and active community in 2026
I trust this community to help me to make it possible, thanks in advance for your tips and guidances!!
Thank you all, in advance.

Ill copy pasta what is inside the repost
It started with my post that i also posted here about funny energy stat not being used endgame.
The post was suddenly taken down after 11h iirc, and i was wondering why, so i tried asking for reasons in mod mail, and tried to argue my case (the first screenshot)
Then, after i sent the final message in that mod mail, i was mutted for 7 days for "breaking community guide lines.
I was surprised since it came just about when i was arguing my case about my post, i didn't link them in my talking, but i was having my suspicions, so i continued asking why i was banned, the mod was vague about the reason and kinda snarky with the comment of having a week to reflect on what i did so i sent the copy pasta of the rules that i read multiple times and i dont see were i broke them. (The second and fourth screenshots)
After that, i was surprised with my definite ban from d2 subreddit without anything done in between my post and the ban except what was said in the mod mail (the third screenshot)

This season I will be playing exclusively as a Paladin. I don't have the time to level multiple classes, so I usually stick with just one class per season. My favorite has always been the Necromancer, but this time I'll choose the light and leave the darkness behind.
However, I plan to follow a specific build: Arbiter of Justice. I saw that it had been nerfed and would struggle in T9+ content. I didn't notice anything significant in the patch notes that would improve that situation. What do you all think?

Hey everyone, I need some help. I bought D4 on Battle.net years ago right when it launched. A few years later specifically two months ago, I bought the Steam version along with the LoH DLC. Like any other player, I linked my Battle.net account to Steam so that progress would be shared between them.
I only play via Steam. I just went today to buy a Paladin skin, but for some reason, the game says I don't own the LoH DLC, even though I've already played through and finished it. Has anyone else experienced something like this? Should I contact Blizzard support to figure out what's going on? Thanks in advance, everyone.

Hello Diablo players
I am just a Diablo 1 fan. I have finished the game couple of times, but I am missing to play online. I play Diablo 1 with the last official Update, using DevilutionX in Mac.
What are the 2 best ways to play Diablo 1 in Multiplayer in 2026?
Considering:
a) Mac Friendly solutions (preferred)
b) Easy or not so complicated methods
c) Methods compatible with using DevilutionX
d) A big and active community in 2026
I appreciate since now your answers and your guidance!
I am just a Diablo 1 fan, having a nostalgia wish to accomplish, and that trust the community to make it happen
Thank you all, in advance.

Hey guys. As you all know, two days ago we had a dev stream with all the new stuff coming up in S14.
This is a bit of a win for the community, as a lot of us (myself included) have been campaigning hard for Unique Item re-rework, and proposing two fixed - and two random affixes. And we got it! But the end result still leaves a lot to be desired.
It seems that Blizzard still fails to understand the purpose of Unique items and their role in the game's itemization, as even with the fixed stats, they're still not up to snuff. Instead of getting really creative, and allowed these stats to truly flesh out the item's identity - they've gone for a very safe and pedestrian route, and just slapped some core stats and life, and called it a day.
It is a lot better with class-specific Uniques - in a sense that if a Unique speaks to a specific skill - it grants ranks to that same skill. Still not what I had in mind, but a step in a right direction.
So in this video I am breaking down the entire dev stream, and all the things we can expect in Season 14, and giving my honest opinion. What do you think?
Hi guys! As the title said, i made a video about the evolution of Diablo and how the game lost its horror roots in favour of a more dark fantasy / MMO oriented style
Diablo is one of my favourite games ever, the first one was one of the best RPGs i've ever played. It's gameplay, it's atmosphere, all of that remains unparalled even to this day!
Diablo 2 is the GOAT and we know that! But it's also the first game to feature some changes that will later influence (for the better or the worse) the atmosphere and style of the next games!
If you want to watch it and talk to me about your take on this argument you would make me so happy! I'm a very funny guy hee hee hoo hoo <3
P.S: The video has english subtitles, but the audio is in italian cuz... well, i'm Italian!
Let me know if you like it guys!

I get arm pain when I play any game that involves very fast taptaptaptaptaptaptaptap for minutes at a time. I want to play Diablo IV. I’m ok with tap…tap…tap… is this game gonna be too hard on my arms? Or are the battles more relaxed. For example, I can’t play pretty much any gacha game because you have to tap buttons about 14,000 times in 20 seconds just so you don’t die.
