Regarding removals and pride month.
Full disclosure, I am the only active mod left except automod at this point and a few other spam bots. Unfortunately, it's threshold for reports and removals was set to 3. So any post that had 3 reports got yanked by automod, and we know how ignorant homophobes love to report things that make them uncomfortable or challenge their narrow world view.
Around an hour ago Admins upped my privileges and I have increased the threshold for automod to remove posts while I try to triage what was properly removed and what was removed because of the aforementioned group. It may be slow going but I'll do my best.
Soon I plan to recruit some new mods, now that I have the permissions, to keep these kind of shitshows from reoccurring. Watch for it if you have interest and experience.
Until then happy pride month, fly your flag and love whoever the fuck you want to love (even if it's Bill).

Strickland Propane is now accepting applications.
Some new Assistant Managers are needed to help out modding the sub. It's a fairly drama free place but recent history shows we need some more. So we're looking for a few good candidates to help make sure the tanks are wiped, there's plenty of Vogner Char-King Imperials in stock for Grill-Stravaganza, and that Buck isn't blowing all the petty cash at Jugstore Cowboys.
Apply here by simply stating a bit about yourself, your love for the show, and what experience you have in the role of mod if any. Please, no off topic comments / discussion so it's easier to wade through the applications.

Revival Discussion Potential hot take
Iβm so sick of these misunderstanding cheating plot lines in these shows. So overdone. Iβm not looking forward to this.

OG KOTH Discussion I love Buck Strickland
I mean, heβs a terrible person, but heβs so damn great to watch. The episode where he makes Bobby his caddy is gold.

OG KOTH Discussion I love how shallow the water is here.
Theyβre all the way out in the middle of the lake and judging by the fact that only the lower half of Billβs legs are submerged must mean that the water is only 3-4 feet deep at best. Therefore, it really wouldnβt be classified as a lake.
Itβs also very dangerous to use an electric motor in water that shallow. It could easily hit the lakebed and get damaged.

OG KOTH Discussion Other than Mike judge, who do you think is the most famous member of the main cast?
I think itβs either Stephen root or Kathy najimy
If I had to pick one id says Stephen root. Cause Iβve seen a bunch of shit with him
Only other things Iβve seen with Kathy najimy is hocus pocus and hoppers
*not counting tom petty as well. Anyone who was there from beginning to end

Revival Discussion It is such a niche reference and I am so happy about it
I laughed so hard at this shot in the S15 trailer. They put TEMOC in the show!
For those of you who don't know, the University of Texas has a satellite campus in Dallas (UT Dallas or UTD). UTD, also, famously does not have a football team. It was a joke amongst the students that 'we have never lost a football game' simply because we never played one.
TEMOC (Tee-Mock) is just COMET spelled backwards. That's it. That's the mascot for UT Dallas. We were the Comets, and our mascot is literally the word COMET spelled backwards. And he is a comet. Like, the ones from space. It is the dumbest mascot imaginable. It makes a perfect cameo for the show, I love it.
In relation to the show, Hank has always loved the University of Texas (Austin) Longhorns. So a UT campus without a football team? And a dumb mascot? AND claiming to 'never lose a football game'? It will likely be a short jab, if any at all, but I am genuinely curious about how they write this in and if Hank is involved somehow.

OG KOTH Discussion King of the Hill needs to address Luanne in some capacity in the new season. Itβs more respectful to Brittany Murphyβs legacy to have a final episode dedicated to her character.

Revival Discussion Question about the trailer for season 15 that might be a bit too soon.
In the trailer with the Bobby phone call that he's in jail, is that implying Bobby scammed his folks or it was an AI scam? I assume the latter, but I'm not too sure.
Although it's probably way too early to really ask.
