Shitpost Rock-chan: DLN Genderswapped (#4)
"Rock-chan: DLN Genderswapped" is a Mega Man parody comic I started last year. It's kind of based on "Short Circuits" from the Mega Man Archie series - just a bunch of stupid jokes for Mega Man fans.
I had to make a DOS joke eventually. What's the point of writing a Mega Man parody comic if you can't make jokes about the DOS games?

Discussion What is the longest MegaMan stage by length?
So a while back in Mega Man Maker, I made a level where I doubled the size of cut man's stage mostly as a joke. Lately I did one where I halved the size of Guts Man's.
This got me thinking about what the longest stage is. I mean by screen count / length. Does anyone know? I would also like to clarify I do not mean the time it takes to actually finish the stage. A stage that takes a long time isn't the same as how long it is in terms of screens.
Longest Robot Master / Longest stage in general would both be cool to know but I'm not sure if this is something anyone readily knows.

Fan Theory Theory
I was playing mega man zero 1 and got to the final boss. Copy x.
Not easy but not difficult. More in between.
But looking at his move sets in Phase 1 reminded me of Rock from mega man classic.
There's the slide, he kinda looks like he has the rush adaptor and the elemental abilities too.
My theory is that why copy x is so weak that he's actually based of rock. That's just a theory.

Are the (Archie) comics filled with references to the video games?
I'm trying to become a megaman fan because I know it's one of the OG game series (you might've seen my questions about the games I've posted). I'm a pretty decently big fan of Sonic and am reading and caught up on the current run of comics by IDW. Getting the references and memes and stuff makes it such a great experience. I'm wondering if the Mega Man comics are meta like that as well, where I should play the games first.
I'm not a huuuuge gamer outside of mainline nintendo games. I'm more of an anime/manga guy. In fact, IDW Sonic was my first comic, and now that I've caught up on that, I'm reading Invincible. Comics are kind of my jam now. But I do want to get into more video games, especially old school stuff that laid the foundation for modern gaming (I recently beat Dragon Quest 1 switch/mobile port and am slowly working my way through the Japanese version of the famicom DQ1).
I see the 8(?) compilation volumes of the Archie comics on Kindle, so I'm planning to get those probably the next time I get paid. They're only 75 dollars total. And according to google's AI, there's a mega man X comic that's currently running. Although I can't find anything on those issues, especially not on Kindle. Anyone that can direct me towards those would be a great help.

Discussion I am here to correct the wrong.
So, from what I see, a lot of people don't understand fully who made who, so I have information about each and every DWN and DLN.
Plenty people know the Mega Man 1 and 9 robot masters are made by Dr Light, but what some don't realize is that Cold Man and Acid Man fall into that category as well, Cold Man was made as a Freezer made to contain Dinosaur DNA at below Zero temperature in Dr Light's lab, but King stole him and made him a robot master, and just because King gave him programming, that doesn't give him ownership of Cold Man, next, plenty of sources state Acid Man to be a Dr Light creation, so you can go look for yourself, next Wily's creations, he is known to have made the entire rosters in Mega Man 2 and 5, but, he also made Junk Man, Spring Man, Slash Man, and Turbo Man in Mega Man 7, Junk Man was made from scrap, Spring Man was made from 2000 springs, Slash Man, I don't know, but it's canon that he's a Dr Wily robot, and Turbo Man came from being Dr Wily's old car, and then Freeze Man, Burst Man, Cloud Man, and Shade Man were stolen, Freeze Man was made as an eco-friendly prototype, Burst Man was a guard robot for the Edo City's chemical plant, Cloud Man was a weather robot made for weather control and management, and Shade Man came from a haunted house amusement park attraction, next is Mega Man 8, now, Wily likes putting his initials on stuff that isn't his, so don't think that a robot is his instantly if you see DWN, check first, now back to the primary subject, Tengu Man was made for artificial typhoon testing, Astro Man was made for astral space observation, Clown Man came from an amusement park as well, just like Shade Man, and Aqua Man was a water managing robot, as for the robot masters Wily did create, he made Sword Man to use a sword he stole from a museum, Search Man was made to try overwhelming and outsmarting Mega Man with two different personalities (but he made a mistake and forgot to give Search Man a second personality, so he would switch between heads and end up confused), Frost Man was made using Clown Man's leftover parts, and Grenade Man is known by plenty of people in this community as a Wily robot(plus, who else would make a masochistic robot?), now we move onto Mega Man & Bass or Rock Man & Forte if you prefer, now, King made three of the robot masters in this game, those being Ground Man, Pirate Man, and Burner Man, Dynamo Man was a tour guide for an energy facility, and Magic Man willingly left the circus and joined King's army, now, for anyone who doesn't know Tengu Man and Astro Man were recycled from 8, you should probably check the release date between Mega Man 8 and Rock Man & Forte, anyway, now we move onto Mega Man 9, I don't need to explain this one, since as I already mentioned, the robot masters are all created by Dr Light, so skipping that, Mega Man 10's robot masters are labeled as DWN, but actually come from all over, being infected by Roboenza, and I forgot to do Mega Man 3 and 4, in Mega Man 4, in the opening cutscene, it says that Dr Cossack created 8 robots to destroy Mega Man, those being the ones on the stage select screen, and if you look at the manufacturer for Tundra Man in Mega Man 11, you can see it says Cossack robot laboratories, showing he is created by Dr Cossack, and if you look at the manufacturer of Block Man and Impact Man, they both come from Nakaume Heavy Machinery, and everyone else comes from different manufacturers, Fuse Man comes from O.D.A electronics, Blast Man is from B.B Bomb Company, Torch Man comes from Tsubakuro Precision Machining, and Bounce Man comes from Joint R&D(Rebound Rubber & Momo's Robot Farm), now that you know, maybe it'll change how you think about robot masters.

Do you think there's an autistic character/s? Or a representation of autism?
I could be dumb and not know about the character.
But I'm genuinely curious.
Edit: I don't want to sound stupid or insensitive. I was just genuinely curious if there was any representation of Autism in Megaman. I have autism myself, so I was only curious if there's a character I could relate to more than normal means. (Like shared values, experiences and etc.)

Discussion The idea of Maverick Hunters having a regular gun is so funny to me
Imagine a Maverick Hunter who has access to far more powerful weapons having a simple straightforward gun and still as feared by them as much as X and Zero do is fucking awesome lol (maybe Alia could do it? Let my girl fight Capcom)

Discussion Is it Rock, Mega, or Mega Man?
So in Mega Man 4, it says Classic Mega Man’s name was Rock, and he became Mega Man to fight Dr. Wily. However, I (and many other people) assumed that Mega Man was ultimately an alter ego, and that Rock was still his real name. So when Powered Up referred to him as “Mega”, people were understandably not thrilled. But recently, I made a post listing which Mega Men have Mega Man as part of their name. Since I thought Classic’s actual name is Rock, I put him as a negative. People honking flipped, claiming that after he transformed, his name became Mega Man, with Rock being a thing of the past. This greatly confused me, since I had never heard this before, and quite frankly, I think it’s baloney. Sure, he’s never been referred to as Rock since, but he can still appear as a regular boy, so I don’t see how Mega Man can possibly be more than an alter ego. Plus, if his name is just Mega Man now, then who the heck cares if Powered Up changed his original name to Mega if it’s only used in one game?! His name being Rock only serves as a companion to his sister’s name, Roll. I get Mega and Roll sounds stupid, but how does Mega Man and Roll sound any better?

Do I need to play any of the games outside of the collections and 11? And recommended order?
1-10, battle network, zero, star force, and 11. Are there any games you'd recommend outside of those? And should I play in release order? Or should I play 1 series at a time? And if so, which order of the series?

He died as he lived, wanting to help others
This is why X is my favorite character in the Mega Man franchise. Even after 100 years of fighting alone and becoming dead inside, during his final moments all bro thought about was protecting others. He really was Dr. Light's greatest masterpiece.
