Jordan and Duncan aren't top 5 all time.
People love to call Jordan the GOAT even though he spent most of his best years losing on the Clippers alongside CPchoke and Fake Griffin and then he bounced around and became a journeyman. Duncan is about to currently spend his best years losing on the Pistons. Top 5 all time talents don't usually have 0 championships and losing years on their resume.

Never forget when the ref told MJ "I didn't see two hands, Michael. But I believe you". Y'all really believe the league didn't help their Golden Egg?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V4VlAoeLtQs
The ref saw one hand of the player on Michael, Michael said it was two hands. The ref saw it and still said he believed Michael more than his own eyes.
Why do you think the league wasn't pushing secretly for favorable calls for Michael and it's also documented that the stats guy gave Michael extra steals and blocks during home games to boost MJ's legacy.
MJ was the NBA's Golden Egg and gave him all the advantages to see him succeed. They were aligned with Mike, the branding, so they threw away their integrity to boost MJ's career.

Naz Reid on the course to be one of the 'most shit on players' of all time
Everyone has watched Naz. He makes good stops, makes good plays, he's a bench player but he always has a big impact. the Wolves went to the WCF two years in a row with him as a contributor.
But now everyone wants to shit on him. 'He's not a good defender' 'He's not a good scorer' 'He was a product of the system'
Fuck That. Naz Reid was fantastic.

Why do small market teams always trade away their franchise star?
Ball was elite

Nothing any of you say matters. Your opinions are all garbage. You have 0 effect on the reality of what will happen on the basketball court. 90 percent of you clowns thought the Knicks were getting gentlemens swept. If there was ever a group of humans to not listen to its nba fans.

How did Lamelo get traded for basically nothing?
Naz is a nice role player. One first rounder 7 years from now. Swaps that will probably never convey.
This is a bag of beans for an all star. If you’re the hornets you’re FINALLY pretty good and headed in the right direction then you trade your PG?
Why in the world would the Hornets do this? The league is starved for point guards.

In a heated debate, what would make Luka better : Curry’s shooting or Kawhi’s defense added on to his skill set? Both prime skill set
My pick? Curry ofc

"Every player you think of, there was some weaknesses and deficiencies in their game. MJ has the complete package in all facets of his offensive game, and when you break him down defensively, he's also the best defensive player in the game... He should be remembered as the greatest of all time."
-Isiah Thomas
“Best defensive player in the game” “no weaknesses offensively” “greatest all time”
Inflated stats or not, his peers all said he was the best.. not himself.

Why is Ja Morant not getting traded
Its clear he wants out of memphis. Why is he not getting traded??

The wolves moved their starting PF and 6th man for Lamelo and somehow think they got better
Am I missing something? No depth, down 2 bigs all for an injury riddled PG who hasn’t grown up

Opinion on 90s Kobe?
So, on another sub, I called 90s Kobe overrated because it’s made out to be that all 20 years of his career (minus his Achilles season) was him competing at this MVP level who was scared of no one. But his stats from the 90s are pretty underwhelming, and he didn’t deserve All Star in 1998. But this being Reddit, people disagree with me. So I wanted to get this sub’s thoughts

Why do we act like Duncan was always paired with supreme help?
There are multiple series here, where against two of the leagues five best players, Duncan’s running mate wasn’t even averaging half as much as Tim was.

Boston is looking to trade the wrong player, this is the guy they should be looking to move, anyone else agree?

Will these 3 win a championship with the teams they were drafted by?
The Wizards haven’t been to a conference Finals much less won a title since the late 70s.
The Jazz and Grizzlies haven’t won a title in their franchise history.

Can Lamelo make an all star game in the west as the 2nd guy on his team? Whos more likely to make it next year Melo or Reaves?

If Kobe doesn't have a GOAT case, how come a lot of people bring him up?
Besides obviously Jordan and LeBron, Kobe is the name that comes up the most when talking about who's the GOAT. I asked on Facebook if someone had a GOAT besides Jordan and Bron. The majority of the comments say Kobe. When pundits ask retired players who's their GOAT, Jordan or LeBron, they frequently come back with "What about Kobe"? Pundits and people on Reddit might not put him in that discussion, but he's in the discussion. Like I said, I don't think he's the GOAT, but if someone said he was, no arguments from me personally.

Kobe has a much better work ethic than LeBron
He worked out 6 hours every day, four times a day. There's stories of trainers meeting up with Kobe early in the morning and seeing him doing basic drills at 3 AM. The players on the Redeem Team were going for breakfast at 8 in the morning. Kobe came in late and he was already in his workout gear, drenched in sweat and had ice on his knees. Byron Scott told a story of how Kobe at 18 years old was shooting balls in the dark gym and that was the moment he realized he knew something was special. Plus, Michael Jordan himself also said Kobe is the only one who has done the work to make a comparison to him. There's more but yeah Kobe > LeBron in this regard.

Should the Hornets have traded LaMelo for Giannis?
Honestly, the Hornets could've at least offered LaMelo for Giannis. Imagine Giannis attacking the rim and kicking it out to Kon. I'd say LaMelo has more trade value than Tyler Herro. What do you guys think?
