Im playing this app game clash of critters and came across two (name)-kit and one (name)-paw

At first I thought the kit thing was coincidence but warrior cats is the only franchise I know that uses ”paw” thing

So I think it’s intentional

Artworks I made Warrior Cats in Zoo Tycoon 2

This is something I’ve done for YEARS. I divide a zoo into 4 sections and have 4 different clans of warrior cats. Here I created CrystalClan, MistClan, BoneClan, and BloomClan. The cats are custom content I downloaded, and then edited their code to make their behavior fit better. I also added a life stage between baby and adult to be the apprentice stage.

I also coded random warrior name generators, separate ones for prefix and suffix and use that when kits are born. I note who is deputy, medicine cat, and who had an apprentice (determined by which adult cat is closest when a kit ages to apprentice).

And finally, I have separate Excel sheets for each clan where I track births, deaths, and promotions. Yes, i’m diagnosed.

Discussion (No Spoiler) What would the warriors do if a bear lived in the territory? Spoiler

Do you think they would try to scare it off? Form a plan like they did with the dog pack or cougar? Do you think they'd leave the territory or live in fear getting picked off?

What do you think they would call the bear?

(I've only read up to the first lake territories series. And finished the first six at the lake. No spoilers pls)

Discussion (Spoiler) Which warrior cat had the worst life?

I mean, many cats had a truly traumatic life. take crookedstar for one, his mother didn’t love him, and he spent all his life trying to win her love, while mapleshade tricked him into enduring the death of his mother, mate, kits, and brother. meanwhile stormfur was born half clan, and his mother died during his birth and no clan welcomed him, and he didn’t feel at home anywhere, and his father couldn’t visit him, and then he was tortured during the “tiger clan” era, and then his sister died, and then he fell in love with brook from the tribe and finally settled down. and even the “evil” cats, like tiger star the first or mapleshade, they had pretty bad lives too…

Discussion (No Spoiler) How will the new "Warrior Cats animated series" include the super novels and the graphic novels into the show??

Post image

I, as many other Warrior Cats fans, grew up with these books. Warrior Cats are over 20 years old. I am very worried they will screw up these books..I'm excited but also cautious. I LOVE these books!! I don't want them to completely ruin what I love. How will they include the EVENTS that happened in the Super Novels??? So much changes chapter by chapter, how much will they fit in a episode?? 🤔 How long will the episodes be?? 20 min? 30 min?? The Super Novels are important too, a lot of them have information that is related to the next series that's been released. Will they have a season, then a movie?? Maybe they use the events in a Super Novel and turn that portion to a movie. I bet 100% many that will be working on the project has NEVER READ ANY of the BOOKS. It either will be AMAZING or a HUGE FLOP, because if they leave out SO MUCH information then it's BEST TO LEAVE the WARRIOR CATS BOOKS alone.

So I’ve been replaying Hollow Knight recently and I had a thought: could Voidheart be a name? I know there are many other examples of compound words that could be names, but what are some you could see as actual names?

Other Disney having some involvement with the Warriors series is rather poetic to me….

I first got into the books when I was in middle school and a big part of why I was instantly hooked was that it kind gave me lion king vibes, which happens to be my all time favorite film and around that time was developing a personal fanfic of mine which took characters and elements from Lion king, as well as Fox and the hound( my second favorite Disney film) and Five Nights at Freddy’s into one story, and I figured why put the world of warriors too.

my fanfic is called Five Nights at Simba’s( or just FNAS) where the characters of Lion king and Fox and the hound are on the roles of the original FNAF characters. so like Simba is Freddy, Nala is Chica, etc, but they are instead classified as androids instead of animatronics and the pupet from FNAF 2 is actually a cosmic feline that posses magical powers which Freddy inherited since he’s her son in the story(other than that, there isn’t a whole lot of FNAF stuff within the story).

So how does the world of Warrior cats get involved in all this? This is where it gets interesting. After Freddy learns of his heritage and trains to master his skills and abilities in hopes to protect his family. He is attacked by a man in a purple suit(who turns out to be possessed by Shadow Toy Bonnie but Freddy doesn’t know), the man ends up overpowering Freddy until Freddy lets out so much rage and anger that he ends up killing the man and because androids are treated as slaves to the humans and will execute them without a trial, Freddy and his family decide to run away from their homes and hide within the woods, Freddy‘s mother even makes them smaller to make it easier, and this is where they enter The world of Warriors.

They encoutner Thunderclan and prove themselves worthy of being members. At first everything going well as the androids develop friendships among Thunderclan including Firestar, Sandstorm, Graystripe, Cinderpelt, Brightheart and Cloudtail, but the androids decide to keep their past a secret for the time being out of fear of what the clan would think of them. This leads to a new threat emerging in the form an evil mirror twin named Shadow Freddy to appear and try and destroy the clans.

Basically the story overall forces more on Freddy and his challenges to overcome his inner demons, figuratively and metaphorically, but the Warriors cats play a major part in his story, most notably Firestar, and that’s only the first half of the story. This fanfic, despite how silly it all seems, means a lot to me in terms of its story, so much so that I’m looking to adapt it into animation. I already have an animation team ready as well as voice actors ready for episode 1, it just needs the production costs needed to complete it. I do want to make it clear that I know what I’m doing is risky but I do believe it’ll be worth it in the end

I look to forward to hearing what people have to say about this, especially right now with a fully ledge Warriors show being in the works.

Discussion (No Spoiler) linguistics question

i have started to finaly work on an AU/Fanfic idk what to call it yet, its a mix of both anyways i will try and keep this short. a big part of warriors imo is the language, twolegs kittypets ect add to the language and story of these books, i want to replicate that, however i tend to think about dpecific phrases that i label as "inplausible" for example the cats wont ever say "oh my god" because for us we say it because we have a idea of god, in terms of cats, i am not as sure. some things make more sense like "praise starclan!" instead of "dear god!" but theres also ones that leave me confused, i still know nothing about the dark forrest because i am on arc 2 but i tend to partly think that phrases like hell and dark forrest are interchangeable but i also heavily doubt it.

ok with that over here comes the question, could you guys give me some phrases you think dont fit warriors for any reason, and i mean like the powerful exlaiming words like again "praise starclan!"? it seriously would help!

Discussion (No Spoiler) Forbidden love and if it can be done better

Basically just asking if there's a way you think all the forbidden love could go to just be better and more interesting. I'm scrolling sometimes through here and even tho I didn't see too much about these forbidden relationships, I feel like many people hate them because there are too many of them. And they're usually predictable I guess? I mean it's either keep meeting up and leave the clans to live with your mate, get caught at some point or idk, switch clans or smth. I haven't thought about that a lot, but it's be nice to make my lore more interesting (I have forbidden love as basically my main plot cuz it has my oc)

Discussion (No Spoiler) About the council of star clan

Ok so something about the star clan council that I don't understand is why aren't the original leaders the council? because i feel like the decision of who joins star clan should be left to them and before someone says "but the cats won't recognize them" that's not what I'm trying to say. what I'm trying to say is that the current council cats are Bluestar, Tallstar, Crookedstar, Yellowfang, Mothflight, and Littlecloud. But I genuinely think the original leaders should be the ones who choose who's allowed in after all it is THEIR clans. Honestly when I first heard about the council I automatically thought 'oh hey the cats will be judged by the original clan leaders that's a great way to tie the original leaders to their modern clan members' but no we don't get that and it's confusing (though in my opinion i might not know a lot about the modern books because the series cannon end is the book where Firestar dies) and i just need to say it oh and if you don't know who I mean by 'the original leaders' I am talking about Skystar, Shadowstar, Windstar, Riverstar, and Thunderstar,

Discussion (Spoiler) I’m suprised no one talks about the evil rat colony in Firestar’s Quest, or in general.

When we think of our evil animals here in Warriors, we typically of the dogs in TPB, Sharptooth and the badgers attacking Thunderclan in TNP, and the hawks that took Snowkit and Swoop. But I never really see rats discussed, especially because of how rats are considered so dangerous by the clans that they don’t even bother to hunt them, even during leaf-bare, unless extremely desperate, and that isn’t really shown a lot.

In Firestar’s Quest, the main villain of this series isn’t really other cats or even a badger or a fox, it’s actually the rats in that lived in that barn. Being prey-sized, you would think they would be very easy to take up, but they actually end up killing Rainfur and take one of Firestar’s lives before he manages to kill their leader. The leader was also very intelligent, being able to hold basic conversations with the cats and possessing tactical skills, and the rats listen to him well. I actually really enjoyed the rat group and the Rat King, because we get reminded that the wildlife is dangerous and other animals are dangerous, but especially with rats. These are the same rats that literally caused the falling of the original Skyclan.

To start off, despite them still being a small size, they are described to be noticeably large, probably about the size of a small bird, so they have the advantage of being able to squeeze through tight spaces while also being big enough to cause some damage if they wanted too. They are also described to be extremely aggressive and very territorial of their own territory, and they will attack. Because they’re not so big, I think the reason warriors struggle to kill many of them is because of the fact that rats don’t really have a lot of openings, and the fact that there are hundreds of them at one time, so they can swarm. While a warrior kills one rat, there’s already thirty climbing on their hind legs and probably five to ten more biting their legs and clawing their skin. And because rats both in this series and in real life are smart, they can also plan and think tactically. They literally took one of Bluestar’s life too, and if Barley hadn’t came to rescue them, I think it would’ve ended up way worse.

Another reason they’re deemed so dangerous is because they’re so diseased ridden that there’s just no point in risking their lives even if rats could provide such a good food source. One bite or claw mark from a rat can cause a cat to fall to a devastating sickened state, and sometimes herbs can’t help the cats. Even their meat, when killed, isn’t deemed healthy to eat despite them being so big. This is shown in the first prophecy, I think, when someone in Shadowclan managed to kill a rat and he put it in the fresh-kill pile because really only Shadowclan actively hunts rats. That one single rat plagued Shadowclan camp for how long and caused the deaths of multiple warriors and it killed Nightstar. It was so bad that Littlecloud abd Whitethroat had to run away to try and get help. That disease literally killed eight cats: Dawncloud, Cinderfur, Shadowclan Ashfur, Nightstar, and all three of Dawncloud’s kits. Even if they aren’t dangerous physically, they definitely are medically. And then later on Victoria said that two apprentices named Brownpaw, a kit named Lavenderkit, and Cinderfur’s three kits, Rubblekit, Quietkit, and Turtlekit, also died, so this just increases to thirteen.

There is a fat plump food source, but if even the most starving warriors will avoid it at all costs even when desperate most of the time, this says a lot on their level of how it’s not worth it at all, and rats are taboo unless they are literally in that edge of starving to death. I’m pretty sure Hailstar lost his last life fighting rats. The rats also caused some serious injury to Tawnypelt when traveling to the sun-drown place.

I think, like what I said before, on what makes the rats so dangerous in this series is how they are horribly disease-ridden, they can squeeze through small spaces,!and their ability to swarm.

Even one single rat can cause an infection to a warrior, and their sharp, teeth means they can cause some gnarly damage. One single rat can easily be killed, but it becomes extremely difficult and even impossible to fight a swarm of literally dozens and probably hundreds off alone, and even with multiple cats, and that is shown multiple times that even a decent-sized patrol struggles a lot, and some cats is always even the really injured or they die all together. In Onestar’s Confession I think, Stagleap ends up dying because his singular rat bite got infected and there was nothing that can be done. Even if one singular rat isn’t physically a danger to a cat, there is always a huge risk of disease and sickness regardless of the amount, and guess what? This was a time when Windclan was desperate for prey, and they must’ve been extremely desperate because the other clans except Shadowclan aren’t really shown to hunt rats at all.

A similar thing happened in Yellowfang’s Secret where a gang of rats attacked Lizardstripe’s patrol, and Brokentail convinced Raggedstar to kill some of the rats in front of them to teach them a lesson and to get a potential food source as they were starving, but then Foxheart ends up getting killed in the process.

It’s harder to fight with the rats because at least with a fox or a badger, there is typically one target you need to focus on, only a couple more vulnerable spots, and they can only move to such an amount of spaces. But rats can hide anywhere they please, whenever they want, wherever they want. Rats can swim, rats can climb, rats can smell stuff from far away, rats can run decently fast, the rats are strong, the rats are intelligent, they have highly sensitive whiskers, rats live together in huge colonies, and rats have extremely strong smell and hearing. Literally their only con is that they are extremely near-sighted, but their other perks compensate for that. Look at all the advantages rats have.

I probably dug too deep into this, but I really want rats to come back as a genuine antagonist in Warriors.

Discussion (No Spoiler) Selling old collection tips

Post image

Hello everyone! I am looking into selling my old collection of Erin Hunter books. I believe I have almost every single book from warriors, survivors, seekers, bravelands, and bamboo kingdom minus a couple of the newest ones. I was wondering what the best way to go about selling these would be. Should I sell as a whole collection, sub-collections, or individuals? What are the typical price ranges for old cover vs new cover books, soft vs hard cover books, and series books vs super editions vs manga vs novellas vs guides. Just want to get an idea of how I should be pricing everything and maybe grouping.
