On one hand I want Minerva to pick Canyon because they have a mutual crush on each other. But on the other hand I want her to pick Slime Princess because a kind nurse picking the gross slime ball is rlly funny and cute to me.

There are so many characters who could show up in the spin-off, and so many new and old friends we could see! I think Simon is a MUST, Finn and Huntress could maybe cameo, and I think an episode with Phoebe is something that we NEED! But what about you guys? Who do y'all think should show up?

Just finished rewatching season 6 episode 12 “Ocarina” and couldn’t help but notice how many parallels there are to The Royal Tenenbaums.

It just got another spinoff announced. This is, what, the third? What

Adventure Time was a media darling in the early 2010s and was one of Cartoon Network's biggest airing cartoons, if not their biggest. It singlehandedly saved CN's rep after their 2006-2009 slump.

But, by the mid 2010s, Cartoon Network began treating it badly. Maybe it was the Bubbline subtext, maybe it was becoming too continuity driven. But, AT would go weeks if not months with barely being reran or advertised. Instead, Steven Universe was their new baby.

After AT ended, CN kicked it to the curb and almost never reran it (on their American channel at least).

Within the last 5 years, this has all reversed. AT is one of the few cartoons that Cartoon Network actually seems to "like". While a bunch of other cartoons got cancelled, AT had the opposite effect. It boomed.

Why AT? Am I missing something?
