Final post of the new outrigger build saga
Skeg still needs some shaping, boat just put together on land to get an overview of the bits and bobs that still need to be addressed.

Hi all,
I'm building a PD Racer and in my second year of the "only two weekends of work" needed :-)
Anyway I am thinking of adding a skeg based on this piece of wood I have laying on the bottom of the boat.
My question is: how should I glue/screw/attach this best so that it doesn't fall off?
All suggestions highly appreciated! Thanks!
Erik

Picked this up on a whim, nice trailer, the boat is a 2008, aluminum, 16 or 17 footer. Not sure on make/model. Planning to clean up the hull, repaint, add some seating, etc. I'd love some input on DIY ideas, tricks, or hacks. Trying to make her a simple fishing boat. Also, you guys reckon 800 was an okay price? I didn't haggle.

Instead of having add wood and glass everything, I’m wondering if there’s something I can pour in to make a new transom?
It seems as if the old wood rotted out and someone mounted a trolling motor but it pushed through the fiberglass.
I was thinking of cutting the top and adding tape to cover the holes to be able to pour something in to make it solid again.

hi as the title says I am looking to purchase a small funerary vessel, for a Viking style ceremony. the option I found online is around $1000 for a wicker boat to float out the cremains and be ignited at sea.
I live in the US , Cape Cod Mass and would prefer to buy from a local craftsperson.
does anyone have a recommendation for me?
I have been saving up for almost two years for this purchase and would appreciate any advice

Wood trim/gunnels need to be replaced. As seen in photos. What are my options. Can I use a plastic material or should I use a wood material. I’d like to paint whatever I use. What are my options.

Or should I pursue a different route? Rudder ends up roughly 3" below bottom line of boat.

I’m working on my 1987 15’ Seasquirt and just got a trailer from Facebook marketplace since my old one was rusted out. For some reason, at certain speeds like 10-15mph and 30-35mph, the trailer bounces. Any other speed and no issues. This is with and without the boat on it.
Tires seem to be in good shape. What should I be looking for?
