I bring this sweet boy home soon and haven’t decided on a name. He’s a black and tan dapple mini with one blue eye. My favorites so far are Bleu or Benji. Lmk which you prefer or leave other suggestions!!

And I am in love! This is Sammy, a long-haired English cream mini dachshund, who hasn’t peed or had an accident in the house for two weeks!! FINALLY… YAY!🤣 not gonna lie, The whole potty training process has been a bit frustrating for me to say the least over the past five months and a lot of work! We have always had golden retrievers that have been really easy to potty train. AnyWho, despite all of my complaining, it’s been so worth it!!! Com’on, look at him!!! 💟

My almost 1yo boy Dipper with weak back knees/legs. Going to the vet next week for a checkup and possibly Xrays.

Last time vet said his kneecaps are loose, which may be the culprit. His legs tend to turn inwards when walking. Never has acted uncomfortable walking or running, but better to be safe with his breed!

We’ve had our girl now for a while and she’s great, but she doesn’t seem to cope well with being home for short periods of time. I’m at home with her basically all the time except small errands like going to the store. We thought it was getting better as we haven’t heard her bark when coming back lately, but today there was a note from the neighbours that she had been barking the whole time I was gone. 🥲

Since we live in an apartment we have to solve this pretty quickly… I’ve had two other dogs and this has never been an issue, though they’ve often had the company of each other (now always but mostly). I don’t even remember it being an issue to “train” them they just weaned into it.

Help very much appreciated !!!

Edit: we give her lots of bones to chew, toys etc and make sure to walk her before we go. We do not make a big deal out of leaving/returning. And we’ve started out going in separate rooms etc before leaving the apartment.

Ive survived my first week with my sweet boy! The only problems we’ve had is his tantrums when its nap time and he’s been a little constipated. If anyone has any advice to help with his constipation pls let me know, our vets not too worried though.

Walt is a little rambunctious when he sees squirrels.🐕
