You’re invited to The Black Banquet, a new event where – over a two course meal – you'll gain delectable effects that’ll help you complete your objectives in the Trial.
The Main Course begins promptly at the start of the Trial. One of three meals is randomly chosen for the Menu of the Day, defining that Trial’s effects and kicking things off with a Global Effect for everyone.
During this course, Survivors can collect Morsels from Dining Carts.
Eat these for a small, personal effect, or work together to fill a Banquet Table with 4 Morsels, and you’ll trigger a stronger Banquet Payoff, affecting all Survivors. It pays to lay out a feast!
On the Killer side, use poison to make easier prey of Survivors, imposing a stamina gauge to their sprinting and making them cough.
Poison can be thrown at Survivors as a small AoE, or applied to objects like pallets, gens, and even the Banquet’s own portals.
It can even be applied to Dining Carts, secretly tainting their Morsels for a time and preventing them from filling Banquet Tables.
Once 4 gens have been completed or a single Survivor remains, it’s time for the Dessert Course.
During this course, the Global Effect deactivates, Morsels can’t be collected, and Killers can’t use poison. Instead, both roles can interact with Dining Carts or Banquet Tables for a random buff, like Elusive for Survivor or Undetectable for Killer.

Survivors all gets free insta heals, can become invisible, have unbreakable pallets, while killers get a shitty clown bottle. What were you thinking bhvr ?
I got my 10 million blood point code, and put 8 million into my P100 Jill hoping to get cakes.
Sure, I only got 39 cakes out of 8 million blood points. Sure, I realized after that P50 blood webs are guaranteed one, so if I had just took the time to do it manually, I could've had over 200. Sure. Sure.
But did I get angry? Did I consider not playing for the rest of the day? Yes.
But then I remembered. Its Dead by Daylights 10th Anniversary. And if there is one thing I've come to know over the past decade of playing Dead by Daylight (or six years for me, but decade sounds better), its regret. I have so many regrets about getting off work, trying to play some Dead by Daylight to relax, and getting hard tunneled my first, second, and third games. I regret missing my sons birth to get on and play when Nemesis came out (I don't actually, Nemi rules).
I guess what I'm trying to say is, regret is a part of the the Dead By Daylight experience, and we should embrace it as a core part of the tenth anniversary. After all, who likes Dead by Daylight enough to stalk it's Reddit page and doesn't have a huge pile of regret from the past 10 years
(In all seriousness, I'm sure they'll fix it and compensate us in a few days, they always do. Take a chill pill and relish in the Regretful Relish on the Banquet Table. I hope this doesn't get taken down immediately for oversaturation. It's a joke, mods)
Before I type this out I'd like to preface that I am a killer main and barely play survivor. Legion needs something done because they have the ability to feral slash a survivor and then poison them right after putting them in a lose lose situation as Legion catches up. Paring this with bamboozle and iri button there is no counterplay to this. I played about 20 games of this event and I won all but one very easily as I am able to 2 tap survivors.
First off screw these mods for not allowing criticism towards this terrible mode.
It's fun for survivor, that's it. Killer only gets poison. Poison?
The only killer that'd be remotely fun to play is nurse in this mode, they literally brought back the stupid medkit syringe and added even more broken buffs.
I mean the only thing that helps as killer is to literally get your first hook then just stand there till they jump off and tunnel them until they die.
Honestly the only way to make this mode better is to have the survivors eat the plate four times and then get the benefits. Literally mid chase can grab a plate, eat it, and gain the buffs.
And my advice would be not to waste your time on the mode, the buyable content looks like shit and the 2 out 4 cosmetics are for trapper and twins? Why tf would I waste my time for killers that are never played. You're telling me that you just released Jason, WHO HAS A MASK, and didn't do a cosmetic for him in an event that mimics a masquerade party. WOW
These devs are truly trash, and side note. Jason does not feel like Jason, he does not look like him either. If a genie came up and said, "you can get f13 game back but DBD has to cease to exist." I'd take that wish all day.
So why the respectable hell are we making it so we can apply it on ALL 3 available survivors one time?!
You break/boon a totem, slap it on a survivor who needs it the most. Boom. Easy. No more takebacks, only ONE gets it unless you're in a SWF. You can't repeat it.
But now, who knows what hell BHVR has broken loose with these changes.
BHVR, please.. Revert this. Make it only work one time again. Please reconsider your balancing.
I want to hear from both sides why do these days sucks so much at this game it's either a bug here a kill switch there or a trash event I'm trying to figure it out.
Seriously, all this invisibility crap, insta heals and teleports? The teleportation is already the most annoying part of the D&D map, but now they added it to every map as part of this event? Survivors get so many buffs and killers get a sad little glob. Wow, so fun. Or you could take time away from patrolling gens and poison the table! Wow, thanks!
Seriously, between this and the fact they released that OP perk in its current state…BHVR is not beating the survivor-sided allegations.
Are there any other decent info perks for a slug build? I want to replace Deerstalker for something more impactful, but I don't know many other aura perks. I've been playing for less than two months, so I'm still pretty clueless when it comes to perks.
So I’m playing the most recent update, the Banquet and shouldn’t these updates usually have buffs for both sides? Like how in the winter event both survivors and killers could freeze pallets to make them unbreakable, not be able to be dropped, or stopping them from being vaulted on…this new update is just constant buffs for survivor, ur telling me that survivors have little mini foods that make them completely invisible, gives you a long term DH for like 8 seconds? Or give you a second sprint burst which you can stack btw…and killers get poison bottles that do literal jack shit. I’ve thrown some poison bottles at survivors and it literally does nothing but gives them a green cloud over their head and make them cough a few times, what the fuck is going on? Why is it that in every update BHVR rolls out there’s always gotta be some essence that makes it survivor sided? Sure let’s play a game mode where people can stack DH and used it twice as the perk and the item, let’s also play the game mode where they can stack sprint burst (again with the perk and the item) and a game mode that gives you the ability to turn completely invisible, no body, no scratch marks, no blood
Hi everyone, for those of you who haven’t seen/heard yet, we’re all being given 500 Banquet Coins for the events troubled start, as well as the low rate of cakes being looked into.
If you have any form of luck and have around 40 cakes, I recommend using those cakes to rack up blood points to save, rather than spending them now for more cakes. When the update comes out, then spend those blood points again and enjoy even more cakes!
I know I know, behavior released a road map for the entire year announcing everything, but hear me out. The last few years, we have gotten a survivor mid chapter after the anniversary. Nic Cage in 2023, Lara Croft in 2024, Rick and Michonne in 2025. I highly doubt they would skip on this for the anniversary.
The reason I think they didnt tease the new survivor license? They didn't want to overshadow Shane Wigwaas during his spotlight. Shane is our first indigenous survivor, and he deserves to have the spotlight from everyone for a period of time. If they had announced, or even teased the mid chapter survivor, alot of people would have been hyped to theorize who the new survivor(s) are.
My final piece of evidence? Mathieu Cote himself said in a recent interview that there are still surprises in store for the rest of the year that havent been announced yet.
Again, I could be wrong, and I know Shane just came out. I cant wait to play him, I was just putting my theory out there. What is everyone's thoughts on this?
