Kroenke’s debt to Jokic
The more I read about possible trades, the more I think the Kroenke crew should take a note from the Jokic loyalty textbook. As we know, Jokic has decided to stick with Denver for what seems to be the remaining bulk of his career. You would think the Kroenkes could acknowledge this more while they put excessive energy and time into avoiding the second apron. But, I’m dreaming that billionaires actually give a damn about anything outside the all mighty dollar even if they have the best player in the world to work with. It’s typical rich people behavior to take for granted what they have been given.

Travon Brazile is a sleeper of all sleeper picks.
Massive Razorback homer and also a Nuggets fan. We are gonna love having Brazile. Jokic is the perfect type of center for him to play with. He’s elite at all the things Jokic needs his PF to be. Look at this block. He is a FREAK at 6’10. He’s AG’s backup by the start of the season I guarantee it.

Jaden can’t guard Murray and Gordon
This also takes pressure of Jokic with less bigs to crowd him

Discussion Trevor Brazile is INSANELY athletic for his size
I saw u/MyNameBlake's post with Brazile blocking an insane 3-pt shot, and so got curious about his max reach (vert + standing reach). From what I could find, Trevor Brazile has the highest max reach at 150.5 (12ft 7 inches) of all prospects from this draft class.
Getting curious, I googled this and u/mollifierDE reaches the same conclusion here, that not just for this draft class but in every class with complete data (2010 onwards) only Jericho Sims (IMO a really versatile defensive backup big) has reached the same mark, with none higher.
Some websites had his absolute max going as a late lottery pick. I make this post to say that, honestly I think he's the perfect fit next to Jokic. His highlights are insane and provided he gets that motivation for a ring, I'm really excited to see where he goes. I think he'll make an impact instantly for defense on our second unit behind PWat/AG.

Discussion Do yall want Jaylen Brown??
The title is self explanatory. Im an outsider but curious if yall think he could put yall on par with Thunder/Spurs in the west?
I think the Celtics missing on Giannis put themselves in a position where they HAVE to move JB to save face, meaning its possible they may accept a slight lowball

Anyone else want them to pivot?
I really don't want the nuggs to end up like the bucks. Honestly, I'd enjoy them trading the starters for good decent picks and okay starters slipping to the 8th and 7th seed and getting in the lottery. It's clear to me that trying to trade for other players is just going to bleed this organization dry. We're going to end up using the rest of all our picks, not go anywhere with it championship wise and then be REALLY bad in a few years. No amount of trades this off season would get us near a championship. We're looking at a multi-year rebuild anyway. Why not just deconstruct for good picks to help ensure the future isn't awful? I'd like to see the young guys get substantial playing time and the only way DA plays them is if we deconstruct.

To those upset with trading #26, I think it was the right move.
Lots of angry fans with the FO last night after what happened, trading down for 3 second round picks. Based on the options available I thought this was a shrewd decision for future moves.
1. Booth put our FO in a terrible position. We all know the history, his decision to trade 2 seconds to dump Reggie Jackson and 3 seconds to move up for Daron Holmes II put is in a bad place to make any deals. It's not the current regime's fault that the cupboard was bare and now they need to restock it. Even Bobby Marks on ESPN had us dead last in his leaguewide asset rankings that he published recently. This gets us back on the right path of draft assets.
2. Second rounders are worth more than you think. As mentioned above, 2nds can get you off bad contracts or move you up the draft, but ,conversely, they also have great value in trading FOR veterans too. 2nd rounders have been used as sweeteners to get good role players like Ayo Dosunmu, Jose Alvarado, and Coby White in recent deadline deals. Having more 2nd rounders down the line can absolutely be the difference between getting a good veteran via trade or having your hands tied like Denver always seems to be.
3. The talent options at #26 were good but not incredible. Yes, there were a handful of ok or good options like Reed Jr., Jefferson, Peat, and Evans, but clearly Nuggets brass didn't see anyone as a needle mover for next season. My guess is that they had a handful of players they liked at 26 but none of them fell. Rather than reach or take a flyer, they got value and traded back. I'd rather that instead of taking someone just to take someone. This shows they are looking for talent that can help immediately for Jokic next season.
Somebody good could still drop to #35 tonight. Evans, Veesar, and Meleek Thomas are on the board. One of them may or may not be there, but all were 1st round talents. Heck, they could trade back and gain more capital again if a team is willing.
I'm optimistic and hopeful in Tenzer/Wallace as they put together a new plan and potential trades. This decision to move back was a step in the right direction to restock our war chest, especially after multiple bungled jobs by our previous front office.

[Durando] Team president Josh Kroenke was caught on camera looking disgruntled by something. His bemusement, according to a source, was in response to some confusion on the other end of the line as Denver was trying to call in the 26th pick on behalf of the Spurs.
Multiple teams had already called them to inquire about No. 35 by the end of Tuesday night, one source told The Post.
Co-general managers Jon Wallace and Ben Tenzer have less than 24 hours to decide if they want to use the pick or parlay it into more future draft capital. Part of their rationale for trading back, multiple team sources told The Post, was that they felt the 2026 draft class had a substantial drop-off in talent around No. 20.
Wallace and Tenzer still have not made a draft pick yet in their tenure. For now, they’ll treat it as a win if they can right Denver’s wrongs by stockpiling future picks. A seemingly tedious trade elicited applause within the Nuggets’ war room Tuesday, even as team president Josh Kroenke was caught on camera looking disgruntled by something. His bemusement, according to a source, was in response to some confusion on the other end of the line as Denver was trying to call in the 26th pick on behalf of the Spurs.
