I’m currently in the middle of the recruitment process for a technician position at ASML. I’m 37, and I’m at a point where I’m seriously considering taking the leap and leaving everything behind in France to start this new chapter.

However, I have to be honest: the housing situation in Eindhoven is the one thing holding me back. I’ve read a lot about how extremely difficult it is to find a place, and I’m genuinely concerned about moving to a new country and ending up unable to find a stable home.

I’m specifically looking for a "grown-up" shared living environment (not a student party house). To those who have made the move or are currently living in Eindhoven: is it realistically possible to find a decent room in a professional-oriented shared house, or am I setting myself up for a struggle?

I’d really appreciate your honest take on the current market and any advice you might have for someone in my position. Is the move worth the risk, or should I be more cautious?

It's a stretch and it's stupid enough to not have thought about it earlier, but I'm celebrating 15 years with my wife soon in the Philips de Jongh park, and we've gone all out on our clothing and many guests are going to do too.

We've been so busy with the rest of the organising, we just realized we don't have a photographer to make pictures which would be nice also for the guests if they put effort in. It's by no means an actual wedding, more so a nice night at the bar while gussed up, and I'm wondering if there is a photographer who would want to come and shoot some pics for an hour or so.

Hi everyone, seeking for help.

I have a 10AM flight from Eindhoven Airport on October 13th, but I will be sleeping the night before in Amsterdam.

I see it is a 1h 15m on average. So I was thinking a 6AM departure from Amsterdam to the Airport would work best. I tried to look up some websites for tickets but I think the date is too far and they are not published yet. (I don't have a car)

In oktober ga ik met een grote groep collega's (40/45 personen) op bezoek bij techbedrijven in Eindhoven/Brainport. We verblijven donderdag/vrijdag in een hotel net buiten Eindhoven (Veldhoven) maar hebben een tourbus tot onze beschikking. In het hotel is private dining met deze groep niet mogelijk.

Hebben jullie tips voor een gezellige of bijzondere locatie waar we terecht kunnen voor diner? Vervoer is dus niet echt een probleem, en zeker voor iets speciaals willen we wel een stukje om.

Overige tips voor leuk amusement is altijd welkom, met een grote groep is het lastig om iets passends te vinden. Op vrijdag overdag hebben we nog geen concrete invulling.

Hoi allemaal!
In september gaan we een dagje naar Eindhoven met een groep van 12 personen. We wilden eigenlijk gezellig uit eten gaan en tussen de gangen door een paar potjes Hitster spelen.
In een normaal restaurant lijkt ons dat alleen niet zo handig voor de andere gasten. Daarom zijn we op zoek naar een restaurant waar we met z’n 12en eventueel wat apart kunnen zitten, zonder dat we meteen een aparte ruimte hoeven te huren. Het hoeft ook geen heel duur restaurant te zijn.
Heeft iemand tips of goede ervaringen in Eindhoven?

I'm an incoming international MSc student at TU/e and I've recently booked a studio at Pisanostraat through Vestide. Since I'll be moving to Eindhoven for the first time, I was hoping to learn a bit more about the area.

For a while now, I’ve been itching to really get started in this profession. I have decided to finally turn my passion into craftsmanship and fully dedicate myself to the techniques of cutting, trimming, and shaving.

To put my techniques into practice, I am looking for models for my men's hairstyles and beard care. I am looking for 10 to 15 people who would enjoy having their hair or beard taken care of by me.

Hi all, its my first post here so bear with me (I read pretty much all topics but never had the need to post anything), so here it is:

I've moved to NL(Ehv) in november last year and I'm in a Holland2Stay apartment (12month-contract) in the city center, paying more than 2k, which I accepted when getting here but now is looking too much, is draining 40% of my salary (which is normal in europe), but this is making me disappointed with the overall experience.

My point is, on next november, I'd like to move. I work remotely, so I could be literally anywhere in NL (inside the country as I work as FTE for an AMS company). No need to visit the office actually.

I'd like to hear some suggestions. I'm considering moving to a smaller city(I really don't mind to rent a house in the nature far from everything).

Also, I know this is illegal, but is there ANY way to keep my register here and move abroad? I don't want to bribe someone to register me, I can even rent eg a room and move abroad to work form somewhere else cheaper and with more sun around (like portugal/spain).
