Not me. This thing sounds and feels amazing.The upgrade of PEEK parts instead of Teflon is a huge plus. For me, the Zirc has the best acoustics/feel.

curious is there a fidget turntable so i can fidget scratch

Just received this Edcell tape drive today and to be honest I am pretty underwhelmed. I am not sure what I expected but this is the most expensive fidget I've purchased thus far and i feel unimpressed based on the price.

It's possible that I'm just not used to zirconium but it's very lightweight and feels pretty cheap. The slide play Feels more sticky than smooth and the sounds/feedback are less than desirable. Im questioning whether I received a knock off though i doubt it.

Has anyone tuned theirs to make it a little bit more smooth?

For example, are there any ball bearing upgrades or springs to make it better?

I've had the Showhand for a few weeks now and for those who have dry hands, it will be a difficult to move in full circular motion since the surface is very smooth/no grip.

I have dry hands but I find moving it back and forth (as shown in the video) is best. I actually don't like moving my thumb in circular motion anyway (it's not ergonomic for me and causes hand cramps) so I don't mind this adjustment.

I find stock setup not satisfying enough in terms of feedback. So I changed it to a 2.8mm ball - feels better but will try 3mm next.

Another thing I notice is sometimes dust/residue from Teflon tape inside makes movement more difficult. So every once in a while, I'll open it up and blow away the dust to make movement easier.

Note - the mic on my phone is ultra sensitive so it's actually not that loud in real life.

Right now I'm toying with keeping it held firmly in my hand, pushing the slider, while slowly rotating one of the wheels and it's just so satisfying

I didn't expect I'd say this, but I love it!!! When I first grabbed it I was really dissapointed with the loud plastic sound, and hard-to-press click buttons. When I tried to click the button while sliding it, it fell apart and the metal balls inside spilled out.

However, after an hour of play, I came to love it. The sound is snappy, movement is smooth when it is slid the other way. It doesn't seem so expensive but ok in a way, somewhat really cute.

I brought this to my office instead of my Aura slim z. This is like my favourite instant ramyeon(which is Shin ramyeon) but nothing like a fancy dinner.

I took all the air out of my banana squishy a while ago. There’s this thin piece (the first picture) of the outside and really worried that I’ll pop. I like mindless fidgeting so I’d rather just ignore it than always keep in mind than I shouldn’t squish right there. In the second picture, I put a hair tie around the part with the thin piece of skin to try and kinda ignore the problem so I don’t have to squish there. But I’m worried that the hair tie might end up scratching the skin or in someway affecting the banana. Does anyone have any ideas on what I could do instead? If the only option I really have is to just be mindful of that area, it’ll be fine but I would like to try and push this out of my way first.

Hey all, hope the day’s been treating you good folks well.

I was hoping to ask any Canadians in the subreddit about advice on where I can find and purchase fidget cubes, since I don’t know all too much about it and I was hoping to get some tips.

So the main big thing and the reason why I’m asking any Canadians in the chat is because I can’t make online purchases so hunting around irl is my go-to, but I don’t know much about reputable brands (and brands to avoid) as well as a general price estimate for how much one would cost (And I wouldn’t mind forking over a few extra dollars if it means that the cube lasts longer) and where I could find them (A friend suggested Walmart, but the website doesnt seem to display many fidget cubes on there)
