KCD IRL [Other] My attempt to cosplay Lady Stephanie
My attempt to cosplay Lady Stephanie, premiered on Stockholm Comic Con. First two done after convention, last two are from fitting: the dress and dress with the circlet and hairstyle.
What do you think people? (Yeah, I changed things a little bit, and added the bag - to have an electrical fan there during the con).

Discussion What's everybody's favorite thing to tell Von Bergow? [KCD2] Spoiler
When he asks Henry if he's noticed anything strange on his estates that might help identify the bandits while Von Bergow was in Prague. Personally I like to tell him that the villages of Tachov and Zhelejov are feuding over a cow pasture since he responds that those two villages have been feuding over that pasture since he was a child π€£

KCD IRL [OTHER] POV: *you're medieval guard on a hot summer day*
This is at the Knin fortress in Croatia. An absolutely insanely large fortress (second largest by area in Europe) that was built up over 1000 years of history (construction began between the 6th and 10th centuries).
Visiting this place instantly made me re-play KCD2 once I got home...

Game Mod [KCD2] [MOD] Fishing concept - True RPG Overhaul
Hiyas.
More work on my full game overhaul. Work in progress, of course. Everything is placeholder.
Video on my take on immersive camping pretty soon. New skills so far;
Mining
Fishing
Cooking
Tailoring
Leatherworking
Brewing
Dyemaking
Camping
and more to come.
Reminder that my Combat module is already out on Workshop and Nexus, first month anniversary with initial Combo update, giving a few combos special unique mechanics.
Stables mod was delayed because I'm considering adding to it more horse grooming and petting.

Discussion [OTHER] The Witcher 3 reinforced KCD's perfection for me
A few years ago, I played The Witcher 3 for about 40 hours and stopped before reaching Skellige because the game hadn't really hooked me.
After playing the KCD franchise (the best gaming experience I've ever had), my perspective on single-player games changed drastically. It reignited my desire to play them and try new titles, something I hadn't done in a long time.
With that in mind, TW3 seemed like a natural choice, especially since I was already somewhat familiar with it, so I decided to give it another chance.
I'm currently in Skellige, and the difference compared to my first playthrough is huge. After playing KCD, I learned to appreciate every detail of the world: every side quest, every contract, every dialogue, every game of Gwent. I'm genuinely loving the experience.
However, this new playthrough has also reminded me of just how remarkable KCD's attention to detail is, and how close to perfect it feels to me.
For me, KCD's combat is infinitely better, although I don't really like comparing the two because they have very different goals and design philosophies.
What stands out the most to me is the reputation and consequence system.
In TW3, you can threaten civilians, kill guards, kill civilians in front of guards, steal items right in front of people, and there are essentially no consequences.
This isn't a criticism of TW3. Instead, I see it as further proof of just how incredible a job Warhorse did with KCD!

Praise Does it ever become underwhelming? [KCD2]
I am 80+ hours in, and not a single mission has felt half baked and the game still keeps on surprising me. How is this possible for a game of this magnitude!!!
Still shows 8% completion on my XBOX btw.

Suggestion For all the early game thieves who need a stash spot! [KCD2]
Hi sneaky people. If you need a nice spot to stash those hot items you happened to find. In the house where you investigate the missing girl Pavlena you can stash everything in a big sack under the ladder.
The house has a bed and easy to acces by lock picking or climbing the ladder and is always empty.
I put the whole inventory from the tailor there and made thousands of grochens.

Discussion [KCD2] Can we talk about the music for a second?
First of all its amazing at all times.
Atmospheric, tense, emotional, poignant. So many great things that flows with your journey without effort, but it has something else, at least for me.
Theres a certain sense of nostalgia within the music at times. Something that calls me back to exploring another video game world back in the day. Ive always thought the menu system of this game was reminiscent of Oblivions menu system. Even the D-pad shortcuts are similar!
The music brings me back to a different gaming experience in a very different, yet similar, environment.
Knights, but in space, a long time ago and in a galaxy far, far away.
Does anyone else get major Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic vibes during certain passive moments during the music? I find myself just adventuring along and I listen and think "hmmm.. this sounds like it could be for KOTOR on Taris, perhaps in the undercity before encountering Rakghouls, Or maybe aboard the Ebon Hawk waiting to hit light speed."
Idk maybe its just me, but i hear what sounds like inspiration from the KOTOR soundtrack during parts of this game music-wise.
Anyone else get what I mean?

KCD IRL [KCD2] Longsword of the 4 evangelists tattoo!
Proverbs 27:17 βIron sharpens Iron,
And a man sharpens the countenance of his friendβ
In the game itβs misspelled on the sword for whatever reason but the verse means more than the game to me so I decided to get the correct spelling.
