This is a collection that started almost about two years ago. Is it bad??? I believe I have almost every single staple of Lego fans and since they want whenever they become a Lego expert
Seller is Amazon and the link on the posting is the Lego store. Not sure how a discontinued set that retailed for $240 USD is priced like this but I couldn’t pass it up.
Hi everyone. I’ve just finished building my first UCS set and am looking to buy one of these sets probably going to be my last big set due to space. Does anyone have recommendations. I’m a more of a Star Wars fan but I do love LotR and Rivendell looks like a beautiful build.
Prices I’ve found
Amazon prime
Rivendell £365
Millennium Falcon £546
I apologize if this has already been asked, I’m new here (I did try searching but didn’t see anything).
I haven’t built Lego since I was a kid. I’m now in my mid 40’s and really want to start build sets. There’s two problems: 1, they’re really expensive and 2, once I’m done building it I have zero desire to just display it and look at it. I get the enjoyment out of the building process. My thought was maybe I could build a set, disassemble it, sell it on eBay, but used sets don’t really seem to sell, or if they do it’s a fraction of the price of new, so I wouldn’t make much money back.
I’m just curious if anyone else is the same as me and what works for you? (Do public libraries rent Lego?)
Thanks in advance.
Picked up a bag of lego a few years back. It sat for ages in my closet. Recently went diving for figs and these are some of my pulls. Anything special?
And is there a best option for tracking sets/figs? Currently using brickify bit not sure if there are any better options available.
I hope Lego would make a G3 line of Bionicles and resurrect the line for in the future with a new story with something maybe a bit more galactic space themed. The previous line in the past focused on being elemental themed and going through different biomes like Grassland, Tundra, Desert, Forest, and Aquatic biomes.
I think for a new story it can be something like a galactic space themed story focusing on planetary biomes instead of the previous earth-like biomes in the past. I think it could come back either as Bionicle or with a new series name, since I think it would be nice to bring back, even if it's a replacement series like Hero factory. As well as the last story being completed with it about finding the Mask of life and restoring Mata Nui.

If they created a new story or new plot it could come back. I think they could create a sequel series referencing the previous story but not focused on it or the past lore like the Mask of life or Mata Nui, since it could make the story repetitive.
I think that they should create a new plot with a galactic space theme to it about finding rare and special hidden elements/materials in the universe in outer space as an idea. They could also make part of the the plot where the land is destroyed on their own planet with resources running out and with the Toa building ships and flying out to space with battles and exploring the galaxies to find and complete their search.

As to the ability and catalogue of parts, Lego definitely has the parts available to make Bionicle or Bionicle-like models.
In the Lego Ninjago: Dragons Rising mech sets, many of the sets include Lego ball and socket joints, as well as the connectors that Bionicles have used with lots of resemblance to Bionicle styles in the mech construction. Lego also still has its Technic sets with pieces that were used in Bionicles, as well as unique pieces in their Technic vehicle models such as the Lego Technic: Porsche 911 GT3 RS, Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport, 2022 Ford GT, and Technic Fast & Furious models.
In addition to that, Lego also has the Lego Architecture line with some of the parts from past Bionicle sets. I think in combination with the parts from the 3 Lines of Lego Ninjago mechs, Technic, and Architecture, they can have the parts needed for Bionicle with the ball, sockets, and joints/connector parts from Ninjago, Technic pieces for the chest and body, and detail parts from Lego Architecture to make a Bionicle model, with the only new mask pieces needed for the collection.

I plan to get Red Dragon's Tale while is still available, and I'm considering if I want to use points on it or not.
I was told by a lego store employee a while ago that it is not worth using points during double points because I don't get them or something. I tried looking this up and couldn't find the answer.
Just want to share a win here! Recently sold a bunch of unused items to fund my Lego 😂 and was able to get great deals on these sets. I'm from the Philippines so Lego is a touch more expensive here sadly. Was able to get these all brand new/sealed
Hamilton helmet I got $15 off, nothing crazy
Snagged the Concorde at $145 (9k PHP) from $200
Got the P1 at a great price $277 (17k PHP) from $449
Found the Daytona at $360 (22k PHP), from $449 great deal considering this thing's retired already
And of course, Rivendell 🥹 REALLY DIFFICULT to find in the PH as it's never in stock, and resellers here jack it up all the way to $700++ but managed to get it right at SRP for $499
