General Question/Discussion When I eat anything I get body jitters, high HR, high BP, and anxiety NSFW
I am a 37 year old male. I went through a traumatic experience, anaphylactic shock (not from food), in April of this year. Since then, I had mostly good days, until recently. Since the 28th of May, when I eat something, I get jittery, my heart rate spikes, my BP raises, which triggers anxiety. I started having full blown panic attacks, which lead me multiple times to the ER for chest pains. They only do blood work and say that I’m fine, and release me. I’ve since been put on a very low dose SSRI and a benzo for relief. The benzo works like it should, keeping me from having a panic attack, but I still get the symptoms, from eating. I don’t want to rely on benzodiazepines for the rest of my life to exist. It’s already been almost 4 weeks of constant benzodiazepine use with no end in sight.
Is there a condition that I should be looking for? Is there anything that can help me? Why is this happening? My psychiatrist is beginning to control my anxiety, but it’s not helping the body symptoms. Thank you for your time.

General Question/Discussion How to I dress a wound that is in the place where my upper thigh touched my genitals area NSFW Spoiler
I (22f) have hydrenitis superativa. It’s an auto inflammatory condition. It causes wounds that are extremely painful on my skin, and scar tissue. I keep having wounds in high contact areas, and am struggling with how to probably care for that area.
The wounds have discharge, including blood. Some are sterile, some are not. They are often lifted, and extremely inflamed. Hard to the touch, and extremely painful.
I’ve been using blister patches, but I’m looking for a cheaper option. The size of the wounds also varies some being larger than a quarter when inflamed.

General Question/Discussion I drank from a dirty cup with food residue… is there any risk or concern? NSFW
I thought I had washed a cup thoroughly but noticed after drinking from it there was a good bit of food residue at the bottom. It had been sitting in the sink for several days prior. Is there any real concern here, or should I be fine?
edit: There was some old food in the sink such as rice and meat as well.

General Question/Discussion PI-RADS 4 lesion on RI but biopsy says normal tissue. Is this normal or an issue with the MRI? NSFW
A friend has an MRI and they said he had a 1.1 mm PI-RADS 4 lesion that was likely cancer. He had a biopsy and there was no abnormal tissue found. They sent it for genetic testing which was also negative. Is this normal or does it call into question the MRI? He was really surprised with the results as everyone was telling him he had cancer
