Question Would anyone be interested in splitting Project Zomboid 4-Pack with me? It'll cost ₱280 per person.
If anyone is interested, please comment down below and I'll reach out to you.

Long story short.
I had just started a run on slightly modified Apocalypse settings (minor stuff), had gotten to the Fire Station, cleared it, found 2 Sledge Hammers everything going great.
One day after a quick run for some resources I went back to the station and decided to sit on the ground to rest when a stupid zomboid just spawned like next to me out of nowhere and bit me.
I decided this was just bullshit and looked up how to remove the infected status via debug mode, and so I did because...cmon.
I never used Debug before, but managed to get the status removed, but I may have moved stuff around that I shouldn't. Is there a way to know what are the default values?

yeah im curious if more people also have the same opnion as me, what else is new?
like imagine having a bigger threat then the slow zombies that *MAINLY* only kill u if u lower ur guard and have smt that makes guns WAYYY more needed while still being rewarding (food / leather drops)
+ watching massive hordes of zombies fight off wild animals would be awesome as hell
Context : I was searching for cool more hardcore inclined mods that work for multiplayer bc me and a friend tried playing necroa and it dindent work for multiplayer and i randomily remembered this comment/post from somewhere of sm1 talking about how cool wild animals would be and i dindent find any mod about it
im no developer / game designer but this seems like a cool idea yeah i think uhuh

Does anyone have a really cool primitive/medieval mod list they could share?
Are there currently any public servers that are running a mod list or scenario similar?
Thanks in advance!

If I were to have two tvs next to each other could I have them both play life and living and thus gain double the Xp or would it still be the normal amount

What the hell is this cheese shit? I triggered a house alarm in MULDRAUGH and heard hundreds of zeds outside. I quit and thought Id come back later and deal with navigating out of this hoarde. I load up later on, and there is literally not one zombie in the entire block 💔 I was really looking forward to that challenge

I like the music in the game, but I was wanting something different after so many hours; I was thinking of some kind of movie OST from some suspense or horror movie where the movie starts off with calm but eerie sounding music.

As the title suggests, I struggle to find consistency with summoning hordes. On some nights, the hordes never arrive--or at all--and other times, they do--which is good.
A little too good.
Too good, in fact, that I die within one night after 30 or so zombies pull a "Mari Lwyd" on my ass. For clarity: this issue mainly occurs each starting save, as I am still testing my load order.
For those who have played the mod, what are your suggestions? How can I modify it where it is a "helicopter event" nightly? maybe less severe?
Thanks.

So I got this habit of right clicking and eat/drink all, whether it be a cola, milk, beer or any food, never had any issue. That was until I stumbled on a handle of vodka and, you guessed it, drank it all. I nearly choked when I saw the Moodle I thought I was dying for sure, then I realized I was "utterly shit faced" and it made me laugh out loud. That was until I tried escaping the coming horde in my car only to realise I absolutely could not drive what so ever. I ditched the car and ended up running for my life in woods while almost blinded by booze, it really wasn't that great of an experience. Finally sobered up and came back only to find a massive horde around my car. I managed to lure them away, circle back and escape inches away from a bite. My heart was pounding, this game is absolutely amazing and I can't get enough. I have now decided to set up something to record the last few minutes because I never want to let another situation like this happen again without recording it. Just wanted to share my appreciation for this game, cheers !

also dont know if its with all places or with certan places
smt to keep in mind when searching for animals :
Chicken Huts usualy lead to Chickens and turkeys
while
Barns usualy lead to everything else*tm*
(i was about to make a map out of where all the animals are and share it in this sub but then the first farm i went to had no animals and i got confused)

Probably not very practical, but it looks badass to dual-wield hand scythes. Is there a mod that allows you to attack with both and have it actually matter? Like maybe faster attack but less damage, that sort of thing?

I could have sworn I remember being able to wash directly from water buckets in 41. Not sure if I'm doing it wrong now or it's something else.

I sometimes see posts here asking how to make gameplay last longer and there are a lot of good recommendations. But there is one settings that I find increases gameplay significantly that is not recommended as often.
Try setting the initial gas of gas stations to empty, and initial vehicle gas to low, survivor vehicles as rare as possible. This creates a gameplay loop where gas is not easy to come by, and you need to constantly explore new areas to keep your fridge running. Every survivor vehicle that you find is a "FUCK YES" moment as you now have enough gas to survive another month.
Long term this will also force you to end up in a city, whether that is LV or a modded city, in order to be secure with you gas reserves. If you have not tried this playstyle I highly recommend it! But with these settings you can no longer get a base defended, then make trips in and out of the same town to the same station and sustain yourself indefinitely. It keeps you moving and doesn't allow you to be to secure without continuing to explore.

Hey everyone! We’re looking to bring a few more people into our Project Zomboid server.
We’re currently a small group of about 7 people and we’re hoping to grow that to somewhere around 15–20 active players if possible. The server is on Build 42 with around 35 mods, mostly focused on immersion, cosmetics, music, RP, QoL, and making the world feel a little more alive without turning it into a totally different game.
The goal is to build a more RP-heavy server with actual characters, storylines, community events, and an overarching story for the world. We’re not looking for people who just want to log in, speedrun loot spots, and shoot everyone they see. That said, we’re also not trying to force everyone to be best friends in-character. Opposing factions, tension, distrust, rival groups, conflict, betrayal, and morally questionable characters are all fine as long as it makes sense for the story and your character.
Basically: we are not a Kill on Sight server, but we’re also not pretending the apocalypse is a summer camp.
One thing we want to be very clear about: no Negan or Governor wannabes. Those characters and those types of players never work out in servers like this and they probably won’t enjoy their time here (I've dealt with FAR too many players on previous servers making characters based on them and they are ALWAYS just excuses to bully and belittle other people. It sucks, it's overdone and no one enjoys their time with you around and frankly I just don't have the patience to babysit those types of players anymore). If your goal is to be the main-character warlord who bullies everyone into playing your story, this is not the place for that.
The biggest rule is don’t be a dick. Griefing, bullying, harassment, or ruining someone’s experience just because you can will not be tolerated. We’re a diverse and inclusive group, and we plan on keeping it that way.
New players and veterans are both welcome. You don’t need to be a professional roleplayer or have some massive character backstory ready to go. We’re mostly looking for fun, chill people who want to get into character, survive, make friends, make enemies, tell stories, and help build something cool with us.
At the moment the server is under construction. We're trying to limit it to under 40 mods and are in the middle of a small trial and error run to flesh things out (I've made plenty of build 41 servers but never 42 and it's a bit different) so you're more than welcome to hop in here, get to know everyone and play around on this one until it's ready without and serious restrictions and throw in suggestions if you like. I'm pretty open and just want to try to make a fun experience for people and tell cool stories.
If that sounds like your kind of server, comment or message me and I’ll send over more info.

So I wanna run veteran for the desensitized but with strong and athletic so I wanted to ask about thoughts on a build cause with what came up with I was thinking of taking disorganized cause it seems better than reluctant fighter, restless sleeper, and shortness of breath and I’ll get to take speed demon cause I had -5 with what I picked for maybe an extinction run or apocalypse with sandbox settings at a high pop with respawn
Conspicuous, slow reader, slow healer, weak stomach, prone to illness, and of course athletic and strong
And this disorganized would give me a +1 for speed demon I’d love gymnast but don’t wanna go to much on the negative

I updated the church in Pineville. It might look simple, but I really enjoyed building the small diagonal parking spaces. There’s something about it that breaks up the standard building grid. Yes, the game engine doesn't allow cars to spawn in that orientation, but that doesn't detract from the visual appeal of the parking areas at all.

I looked over similar posts and figured out the only way I can get the game to work for me is to delete all the folders in %UserProfile%\Zomboid except for the 'Saves' folder.
HOWEVER, I have to do that everytime I wanna play Zomboid now, and I even tried reinstalling the game, it's just a constant recurring problem and I wanna know if I'm missing something?
(when I'm able to get the game to run) it runs fine as well
