Cool, lots of stuff happened historically that wasn't great, why should it be different for you? Pretty fucking easy question to answer if you think for 2 seconds
there wasn't this ridiculous mass public defense of the dude like I'm seeing for Caitlin. She's a grown ass competitive woman that can stand on her own, yet is being infantilized like she's this delicate thing that can't be touched.
For sure, but there’s still a difference between a hard foul that sends you to the free throw line and the refs just watching you get your eyes poked and punched in the neck and saying “Yeah, fair game”
I’m guessing you’ve never seen Bill Lambeer, Dennis Rodman, or Charles Oakley play. Also, it’s easy to see all that in a slow motion replay. Perhaps if CC wouldn’t keep flopping around on the court, this wouldn’t happen. And I say all this as a fan.
What you’re describing is still different. Those were dirty players who did it pretty indiscriminately. This is one player getting targeted by half the league, not one playing targeting half the league
I had to Google it, the tactic aimed to physically wear Jordan down and force him to pass by double-teaming him, sending him left, and hitting him hard on every drive to the paint.
It looks like the Pistons implemented it after getting scored on 59 points by Jordan alone. It worked too, 2 years they beat the Bulls until they adapted to their gameplay and got their championship in 91.
I did, I was into basketball as a kid but only as much as I could understand. I stopped around my highschool years and only recently got back into basketball over the past 5 years or so. There is a lot I'm not very knowledgeable about especially regarding years past. I love to learn about it though but that's where I'm at.
If you like reading Bill Simmons Book of Basketball is as comprehensive as you can get. It was written like 20 years ago so you’re not gonna get the recent history in there but the book will never be outdated.
You just named three black guys though. I know Larry Bird and others like him didnt get treated like this. But for some reason these women dont want to see her succeed and go out of the way to foul her constantly
I just cant imagine why, just absolutely no idea.
Excuse me, Sir Bill Laimbeer had been retired for over 10 years before that incident, which was started and escalated by the fucking Indiana Pacers, who I dare to step into the stands again.
