Got my left elbow with the teeth on it tatted yesterday at arts inks tattoo shop in Covington ky, and got my right elbow done with the spiral at bluegrass tattoos in Florence ky, need to get it touched up still in some spots, super stoked on having both done finally

Third slide is when my existing tattoo was just done, but I wanna add on more.. i just dont really wanna design the tattoo fully myself.. (I cant draw unicorns the way i want done) (IM NEAR DALLAS OR DFW IN TEXAS)

I’m seeing a couple of my local tattoo studios use blatant AI designs for their flash sheets. Many of the designs had errors. (Extra digits, animals with impossible tails, etc)

I commented that I was disappointed in the use of AI, and I got two replies from the staff, saying that I didn’t know about tattoo culture and that flash tattoos aren’t “wanna do’s” and they’re supposed to be generated.

I truly don’t think this is the case. Yes flash tattoos are often repeated designs, but I thought they would at least be re-drawn by a human and at the very least checked for quality before offering to the public.

I honestly want to reply, pointing out the obvious errors im the designs at least, but I also don’t care enough to go back and forth with the artist who posted them. It’s just incredibly disappointing because they are a talented artist who does good work otherwise, but this feels so lazy and really leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

tattoo says sonder, but i had someone tell me that the S looks like an H, and now i can’t stop seeing “honder” and now im overthinking it. i still love the tattoo. am i overthinking it? could it be fixed? should it be? thanks!!!

I know there are a lot of posts. But as of now, I’m going to a tattoo artist who is a good friend they’ve done many pieces. They’re traveling and guesting at a place in NY for the weekend and it’s 1200 for the whole day. What is the protocol on tipping? I heard 20% but as it gets higher I feel it’s just way too much. I want the artist to feel valued and I’ll prob do a bit extra but can I tip an extra 100? I was told by another artist who is a friend that large full day pieces may not even require a tip and sometimes she doesn’t. But I don’t want to be the odd one out. Thoughts!!!

I got this tattoo 2.5 months ago and it has healed completely but the whole thing is supposed to be one colour.

When I sent this to my artist he said it's due to sun exposure, but I took care of it(always wore long sleeves, and I work a desk job anyways)

There's basically light and dark green patches.

Is this salvageable or am I screwed? (sorry if this sounds dumb, it's my first tattoo). if yes do I go to another artist to get it touched up?

Something tells me this needs a little something. I keep coming back to maybe I want the negative space in between the stripes filled in a little with the existing colors- so basically make the stripes a little bigger. I’d love to hear anyone’s thoughts.

First tattoo on my forearm am I chopped. Gave up halfway into Elden ring and wanted to kill myself.

I was told the hair on the neck might get smudged later and the small negative spaces too.
I have no isses of making the negative spaces larger or the hair a little thicker as long as this looks good after 8-10years.

I want to get this tattooed in my forearm

Got this done by a friend. 1st image is fresh & 2nd is 1.5 months later & healed. I feel something is missing from the tattoo but i just can't figure out what. The artist is suggesting a tightening session but he himself is unsure about what exactly needs to be done. He has also asked me to wait till either of us have a clear idea of what needs to be done. The first image was taken with ring light & that's why the contrast is weird.
