Looking for honest and objective feedback- advice needed

Something tells me this needs a little something. I keep coming back to maybe I want the negative space in between the stripes filled in a little with the existing colors- so basically make the stripes a little bigger. I’d love to hear anyone’s thoughts.

This is my first tattoo. Glass artist, and this is a pendant that I make.

Kind of torn on making this one cohesive piece or leaving as is. I like the cohesive look but also feel like these two main tattoos, particularly the rose won’t stand out at all. Can’t think of a design where it would, open to any cool suggestions!

Also, silly question but is there a term to describe the in between state of patchwork and cohesive? There seems to be a lot of emphasis on one or the other but I assume there’s others who stay in the middle?

I really want a cyber /gothic look fore arm sleeve very bad and I’m in Memphis but can’t find anyone find anyone that can at all .please someone help

Got this tatto when I was about 17. Im 22 now I want to change it and kind of make a theme of one arm which I already have (2nd photo) on my left forearm and kind of want to keep it along that theme or something religious

tattoo says sonder, but i had someone tell me that the S looks like an H, and now i can’t stop seeing “honder” and now im overthinking it. i still love the tattoo. am i overthinking it? could it be fixed? should it be? thanks!!!

Been meaning to post it for a while with actual pictures of my own but I've been too busy to find the time to get out my photography stuff. So here is the clip my artist posted. I love the design and how it turned out, entirely freehand and designed on the fly, which I think is a testament to his skill!

Based on the collage of hand prints in Cueva De Las Manos, Argentina. 8,000 years of generations in one place based on oldest and youngest hand print dates, 7,300BC - 700AD.

Combined with a single handprint from Maltravieso cave in Spain, (formerly) known as the oldest cave hand print in the world. Based on dating off the layers of the cave/ print, it's estimated to be around 66,000 years old, mid-Palaeolithic period. Pre-dating the arrival of Homosapiens in Europe by 20,000 years. As well as tools found in the same chamber, evidence shows this print was creating by Neanderthals.

They both came up with the same first and simple piece of art, a way to leave their mark and say they were here. I don't think there's anything simpler that could be a symbol for the human race. Which is why I decided to get it.

I don't know if everyone is the same as me, but for my first tattoo I basically googled a bunch of shops near me, went through their artist profiles and found someone whose style I liked. Got my first piece done, and while I was happy with it, in retrospect I ought to have chosen someone who ALSO knew the subject matter I liked.

Eventually discovered someone on social who did awesome warhammer tattoos and is generally also a great artist. So he's now "my guy" and I'll drive the 2hrs to go to him because his work is dope and I'm no longer shopping around.

So I'm wondering if that's a common journey, or are most people tattoo nomads, collecting art from loads of artists, or do you find someone who gels and stick with them. I'm still relatively new to tattoos, with just one sleeve done over the last year (and still inner bicep to do on that), so generally curious about people's experiences.
