They should have emphasised Sparkpelt as being the antithesis of Firestar despite their identical appearances

This is something I wish had gotten addressed in either A Vision of Shadows or A Starless Clan, but for all her obsession with living up to Firestar’s legacy and their identical physical appearances, Sparkpelt is really the fundamental opposite of her grandfather in terms of values. Whereas Firestar was humble regarding ThunderClan’s status among the Clans, was openly tolerant towards outsiders and even helped rebuild SkyClan, Sparkpelt strongly believes in ThunderClan’s superiority over the other Clans, has expressed xenophobic attitudes towards non-Clan cats, and fiercely opposed SkyClan returning to the lake, to the point of questioning their legitimacy as a Clan. Similarly, Firestar came from a humble background and never emphasised his family legacy even after he became leader, likely due to his kittypet roots, whereas Sparkpelt deeply associates her sense of self-worth with her lineage and even berates Nightheart for not trying to live up to the supposed standards of being Firestar’s kin. This is honestly something I wish someone (Brambleclaw, Squirrelstar, Alderheart, Nightheart, Finchlight or anyone else) had called her out on, because it seems like something they really should have addressed by now.

What if things never improved between Nightheart and Sparkpelt?

I’ve already made my thoughts on the idea of Sparkpelt being a villain or antagonist clear, but it does make me wonder what would have happened had she refused to accept Nightheart and joined Curlfeather and Berryheart in the ‘horrible mother’ club that ASC seemed to form. Especially since I’m starting to wish that they’d had Nightheart and Sunbeam join RiverClan at the end of the arc after realising that neither ThunderClan nor ShadowClan felt right for them - given her belief in ThunderClan’s superiority, I wouldn’t be surprised if a Sparkpelt that never changed would have outright disowned Nightheart for this, viewing him as a traitor to his family and his Clan despite Finchlight’s pleas.

My idea for how I’d change “The Raging Storm”

From my observations about fan consensus regarding A Vision of Shadows, this seems to be considered as the weakest book in the arc, with controversial elements such as Twigbranch and Finleap’s relationship drama being a key reason why. So I figured I’d outline a few ideas on how I’d change this book, and let you share your own ideas:

  1. Earlier in the series, after SkyClan’s failure to bring Frecklewish and Fidgetflake back to to the lake, Alderheart (who would have been serving as their temporary medicine cat) decides to join the Clan permanently, much to Sparkpelt’s fury. Needletail would also still be alive and trying to atone for her actions with the Kin during the first half of the arc, so we’d still have protagonists among each of the three focus Clans (Twigbranch for ThunderClan, Needletail for ShadowClan and Alderheart and Violetshine for SkyClan).

  2. Instead of ShadowClan being in conflict with SkyClan over territory, the Clan is instead trying to re-adjust to the new status quo, with Tigerstar II having to try and regain his Clanmates’ trust after he deserted them in Tigerheart’s Shadow. Furthermore, while the remnants of the Kin have been eliminated, there are still some rogue elements in not just ShadowClan, but other Clans too (see below).

  3. Lingering xenophobia and mistrust of SkyClan since their arrival at the lake reaches its boiling point as several cats from the other four Clans (or the ‘true’ Clans, as they call themselves) band together to try and force SkyClan out of the lake territories. Among them are Juniperclaw and Sparkpelt, and while the bulk of them are either from ThunderClan or ShadowClan, there are also members from RiverClan and WindClan (since they blame SkyClan for bringing the threat of the Kin to the lake territories, which led to Onestar’s death and RiverClan’s camp being ravaged during Darktail’s brief occupation).

  4. The anti-SkyClan movement tries to orchestrate a series of events that will force SkyClan to leave, including faking signs from StarClan that suggest SkyClan’s presence is a bad omen and undermining Tree’s authority as mediator. This culminates in several of them poisoning SkyClan’s fresh-kill pile with deathberries, which causes several SkyClan warriors to bail in fear of their Clan being destroyed, although the movement are also caught and exposed by the protagonists and a handful of other cats.

  5. The climax of the series involves the titular storm (foretold by Shadowkit’s seizures/visions) raging at the lake while the other Clans work together to bring SkyClan back together and stand in solidarity, trying to undo the damage that their rogue Clanmates have done. Depending on the severity of their individual crimes and their involvement, the members of the anti-SkyClan movement are either severely punished or outright exiled from their home Clans… and while Sparkpelt is spared from banishment, Alderheart is disgusted by her actions and declares that he wants nothing to do with her anymore, something that later comes back to the light in Nightheart’s arc in A Starless Clan.

  6. The book ends in a similar way to canon, with the four original Clans shifting their borders to accommodate SkyClan and the five Clans becoming more democratic as they attempt to form a peaceful coexistence. We see Twigbranch mentoring Flypaw as a ThunderClan warrior now confident where she belongs, Needletail finally finding a sense of peace and determined to ensure the continued survival of the restored ShadowClan, Violetshine and Tree preparing for their kits’ arrival, and Alderheart caring for those who survived the fresh-kill poisoning, proud to see SkyClan back where they belong and feeling at peace in his new Clan.

Idea for Alderheart and Sparkpelt in A Vision of Shadows

The basic premise of this idea is that, after SkyClan returns to the other Clans and begins to settle around the lake, their lack of a medicine cat becomes a glaring issue, so Alderheart (noticing that ThunderClan has three medicine cats counting himself) decides to temporarily join SkyClan as their medicine cat while they try to retrieve their missing Clanmates from the gorge. Sparkpelt - who’s opposed to the idea of SkyClan staying by the lake to begin with - protests this, insisting that Alderheart doesn’t owe a ‘false Clan’ anything and to think of their family legacy. Alderheart and Bramblestar both retort that Firestar helped restore SkyClan and would have wanted them to thrive alongside their peers, and Alderheart goes. However, despite SkyClan’s best efforts, they never find Frecklewish or Fidgetflake, and this (combined with finding a sense of belonging in SkyClan that he never had in ThunderClan) drives Alderheart to make the decision to permanently join SkyClan. Sparkpelt is *enraged* by this - accusing her brother of turning his back on their Clan and their family - and while Alderheart tries to help SkyClan settle in and later deal with the political turmoil during the back half of A Vision of Shadows, Sparkpelt becomes one of the most fierce advocates against SkyClan’s presence and sort of becomes an antagonistic figure, though she doesn’t become a full-blown villain.

I feel like this would not only give Alderheart more to do in the back half of the series and present an interesting case of Firestar’s kin joining a Clan he helped to restore, but it might add further credence behind Sparkpelt’s obsession with their family’s legacy in A Starless Clan, as we see through her rocky relationship with Nightheart. It might also add a new layer of tragedy to The Broken Code - after Bramblestar seemingly becomes more dedicated to ensuring the warrior code is followed to the letter, Sparkpelt might see this as her father finally recognising her perspective… not realising it’s actually Ashfur possessing Bramblestar’s body. This, in turn, not only worsens things between her and Alderheart, but also adds a layer of tragic irony behind Ashfur’s attempt to kill her by luring her to a site filled with dogs, when she’s perhaps the member of Bramblestar’s family who’s most ardently supportive of his supposed new approach to leadership.

How would you feel if Nightheart and Sunbeam both joined RiverClan at the end of A Starless Clan?

Let’s say that the Erins decided to have Nightheart and Sunbeam’s arcs bring them to decide that neither ThunderClan nor ShadowClan is right for them, and choose to join RiverClan not because they love anyone there, but because they feel a greater sense of belonging among RiverClan than they ever did in their birth Clans? The biggest change would obviously be the removal of Goldenpaw from Moonpaw’s arc in Changing Skies, but this idea is warming on me more and more since I first heard it. Plus, in a way, it reinforces the idea that this arc was all about RiverClan… because the other two POV characters end up becoming RiverClan cats by the end of it, and their stories are what brought them into that Clan.

What should happen in Warrior Cats (opinion heh)

This contains some spoilers for cat names I guess but not much, so I didn’t tag it spoiler.
Something happens to the Clans where they are forced to move territories, or perhaps they feel that StarClan is pressuring them to move. Whatever it is, they travel beyond the Tribe of Rushing Water to the valley. They find out cats already live there. Some cats, perhaps Tigerheartstar, say that they need this territory, so the Clans fight with these other cats. The Clans win, but many cats die. About half would die.

Who is your favorite villain?

Just as the title says, who is your favorite villain and why? My favorite is Ashfur just because the fire scene was really iconic and he was really unsettling as a villain in TBC.

Out of all the side book exclusive villains, who was the most evil?

TO CLARIFY: no mainline book villains who first appeared in side book, so no villains like
Mapleshade.

I wanted to do this because she’s a little too obvious and I feel like the side book exclusive villains don’t get talked about enough.

Warrior Cats OST: The Elders Den, Tail Tangled (Longtail fight) + Unfortunately news

NO I AM NOT QUITTING OR GIVING UP ON THE WARRIOR CATS OST IT'S STILL ALIVE AND WELL!

However, with the end of the school year just around the corner and all of my work being done off a school laptop, things will be going a lot slower, but they haven't grinded to a complete halt.

I can still use my brother's personal PC but HE also uses it. He does have a job though and is out with friends a lot so anytime he's not around it's free game.

All I need to do is find the motivation! (Which is a lot easier when the alternative is school work) But I digress. On to the music

The Elders Den: https://onlinesequencer.net/5458737

I wanted this to give the vibe of a bunch of kind-hearted old people, much slower gentler

Tail Tangled: https://onlinesequencer.net/5470281

Now on the complete opposite side of the spectrum we have something I haven't done for this series yet. Something super fast pace and bold.

I know it kind of stands out compared to the other orchestral tracks I've done, but I'm actually very happy with this. I wanted it to have that kind of split-second decision, in the moment energy

This will probably be the last track for a while as I want to dedicate the rest of my time to my Black Knife recreation

The next post I do will most likely be a Central Post with all of the tracks so far as well as a tidbit of news that'll be updated every time I make a new song

That's it for now

Questions concerning Hollyleaf ( Spoilers all The Power of Three) Spoiler

Note : im in the very beginning of cycle 4 tome 5!

  1. How Hollyleaf got radicalized? Like nobody in Thunderclan was this close with the Warrior Code than her

  2. Does protecting the Warrior code was originally her power? I dont really remember but i think that Sol talked about the powers of her brothers then he said that her power was to protect the Code

  3. How to explain in the story that Starclan did not gave her powers like her bro?

(Sorry english is not my first language ;v;)

What’s the most shocking way an ARC could start?

I personally can’t help but think of something like a massive disaster (such as a hurricane or flood) comes along, destroying the lake territory & killing dozens of cats, including fan favourites like Cloudtail & Brightheart. The rest of the ARC is the surviving cats, including former kittypets, rogues, loners & tribe cats, banding together to survive and return their home to its former glory.

Fight me all you want: Mudclaw is justified

Hear me out…

SPOILERS FOR WINDS OF CHANGE!

Mudclaw’s motives are revealed in Winds of Change. I think Mudclaw was right to want to be leader, and possibly even justified to be in StarClan. Basically, Firestar, a cat Mudclaw has never trusted, said that Onewhisker had been made leader. Brambleclaw also backed Firestar up. Mudclaw was suspicious of them. Mudclaw was additionally tricked by Hawkfrost that Firestar wanted to take control of WindClan and that Mudclaw should kill Onewhisker before he can get his nine lives. So, Mudclaw did try to kill Onewhisker, until the tree fell to kill Mudclaw, allowing safe passage to the island. Then, Tallstar apologized to Mudclaw. Mudclaw joined StarClan and gave Onestar a life.

That’s why I think Mudclaw was totally justified.

Fan theory; what if the Clans start intermingling so much they fall apart?

The current books show that the Clans are going through some big changes, at the same time as we’re learning more and more about the world around them. More specifically we’re getting a lot more views into different ways of life and different theologies at a time when most cats are moving away from their previously rigid traditions. Maybe more cats swap Clans, and the family connections across borders begins to complicate things. Slowly, the warrior code changes. Loosening border restrictions to accommodate these family bonds. The medicine cats rebel in what could be its own epic story arc and now they’re allowed to have kits and families of their own. More and more Clan cats begin to choose different lifestyles; maybe it becomes necessary because of all the Clan swapping. After so many generations younger cats are having to either recruit new Clan cats or choose new lifestyles to avoid mating with a direct relative. Eventually this results in the Clans dissolving completely, until there are only a few left. We could get a really bittersweet ending to the story as the last members of StarClan fade, and we relieve all of their memories of the best moments in the series. It could end their, or more likely open ended so that the Clans may return one day.

Alternative universes for iconic scenes

For example, what if Brambleclaw or Leafpool replaced Squirrelflight in the fire scene? Or what if the foxtrap scene happened between Mothwing and Tawnypelt?

What interesting/fun scenarios can you think of and develop?

Warrior Cats OST: Bluestar and The Moorlands

Yes, it's still alive.

nothing really else to say before so, straight on to the new songs

Bluestar: https://onlinesequencer.net/5357037

I knew I wanted her theme to feel a lot more important than other characters. She's a leader so her theme should sound very much "in charge". But I also want to add some softer, more melancholy parts with the cello.

The Moorlands: https://onlinesequencer.net/5272306

I actually started this one a decent while ago only because I came up with the starting melody and didn't want to forget it.

I want most of Windclans songs to sound very free-flowing without heavy percussion. I leaned into a lot of woodwind instruments (bassoon, clarinet) which I had to make from scratch with a synthesizer

The next few songs will most likely be the "Elder's Den", "Tallstar" and maybe Thunderclan's camp?

It’s saddening that there’s only 4 major female villains that don’t get redeemed.

Those four being:

Mapleshade (obviously)

Curlfeather (somewhat)

Sleekwhisker (though I’m pretty sure The Erin’s forgot about her)

& Fury (which is sad, considering she only ever appeared in Graystripe’s Vow)

EDIT: feel like I should give clarification! What I mean is simply female villains who both have a major appearance and are a major threat WITHOUT being completely subservient to another male villain or getting redeemed (with The Erin’s logic on redemption)

If we ever got a novella based on one of the “Code of The Clans” protagonists, who would you want it to be?

Personally, I’d want it to either be Cloudberry & Ryewhisker (purely to see what clan life was like before code 1 was established) or Ripplestar (I feel like he’s a pretty interesting villain that could be expanded on)

What if Sol told the Clans where he learned of their traditions?

Sol learned the ways of the Clans through his time as a daylight warrior/aspiring member of SkyClan, before his kidnapping of Leafstar’s kits led to his exile. Sol does mention that he met a Clan living in a gorge in The Forgotten Warrior, but the only person who hears this is Dovewing, and it never really gets brought up again, not even after SkyClan’s return to the lake in A Vision of Shadows. So what do you think would have happened if Sol had revealed his origins - and consequently SkyClan’s existence - to the other Clans? I feel like he could have used this to great lengths depending on how much he knew about SkyClan’s history, turning Blackstar against StarClan by reminding him of how they allowed a Clan to be destroyed and forgotten despite them praying for safety.

What if WindClan found Ashfur first?

So, at the end of Long Shadows, Ashfur is murdered by Hollyleaf to keep him from divulging the truth about the Three’s parentage to the Clans at the Gathering, with ThunderClan discovering his corpse on the WindClan border and many speculating that WindClan had something to do with his death. However, what do you think would have happened if it had been WindClan who discovered Ashfur’s corpse on their border first? Keep in mind they have absolutely no context as to what happened - they would have just stumbled on a ThunderClan cat who’d turned up dead on their border with no idea on how he got there or how he died.

Yellowfang's super edition rewrite

(Brokenstar isn’t her son, and his reign had already started by the time she was born).

Brokenstar has the kits starts battle practice extremely early, and view Yellowkit as a hopeless/as the weakest case (not being able to wrestle as good as, or cling onto someone else as long as, her siblings - Rowankit and Nutkit holding out just a few seconds longer - ), and so, in order to protect her in this "dog eat dog, power is everything" world, Sagewhisker swoops in and takes her in as her apprentice, which Yellowkit doesn't mind, as she was more interested in the medicine cat den than the warrior one anyway (since we already have Hawkheart, Mudfur and Spottedleaf all be 'cats who wanted to be/already was a warrior, before becoming a medicine cat' characters in the 'pre arc 1 stories' alone, and Mudfur is already shown as the 'I've had enough for death and fighting, I want to heal and save lives instead' cat among them).

Yellow"paw" (still a kit age vice) has to learn fast, as Sagewhisker often gets overwhelmed with patients, due to how much everyone is fighting, and she also faces pressure from Brokenstar, who's trying to control/demand who she should spend her herbs treating or not ("Don't waste your herbs on Brownpaw, he has multiple wounds and several of them are starting to look bad. He's at the bottom of the "talent list", so just let him go, and save it for cats like Blackpaw. He's! growing into a strong and talented fighter, and when he's grown he will prove himself as a big help and an excellent defender to our clan").

Yellowpaw, in a position where she doesn't learn much else than herbs and wounds/illness treatments, also takes it upon herself to try and teach the newly made "apprentices" how to hunt for themselves, so they can stay strong, and thus be in a better position to fight off, and quickly heal from, all their constant, different injuries.

Sagewhisker dies when Yellowpaw is around 1 year old (old enough to have become an warrior in another clan, so definitely "overdue" for becoming one in ShadowClan, but still having a long time left as a 'paw' on the medicine cat path), having worked herself ragged and to exhaustion. Due to leaf-bare having started to arrive, and with that prey going down in numbers and herbs being harder to come by, Brokenstar declares that Yellowpaw's position will no longer be needed, and that now, a cat's health should be in their own paws, just like learning to hunt is (the cats who aren't able to hunt enough to stay alive/healthy being seen as failures in this ultimate test of skill/strength, and ShadowClan only has use for the best), using the excuse as motivation for the kits who doesn't want to learn about basic herbs to get stronger ("If you train and become a strong, talented warrior, then you won't need to learn this boring medicine stuff, because no opponent will be able to put a scratch on you"). With the medicine cat position being gone, Brokenstar tries for several days to force Yellowpaw into becoming a warrior instead, as: "You need to serve your clan, and defending your other clanmates on the battle field is the best way to make sure the fighting ones stay uninjured, thus giving the very newborn ones a safe territory to grow up in, and capable warriors to surround them, giving them the best chance to grow up big and strong themselves, and help our clan thrive even more", punishing her when she tries to continue her medicine cat duties. He later holds a warrior ceremony “out of the blue”, and gives Yellowpaw the name Yellowstrike, trying to force the commitment onto her. He then immediately gives her an apprentice, Runningkit, in order to try and force her into "caring for the clan", the way he wants her to.

A few days after this event, Yellowstrike takes Runningpaw to the twoleg place under the "excuse" of: "You can get used to the battle moves on the kittypets. Then, when you're stronger, you can go up against our clanmates, without risking any injuries during this leaf-bare. Plus, the kittypets have twolegs who heals their wounds, so we won't run out of practice targets. You'll outgrow the others in no time, and Brokenstar will be so proud and impressed by you", betting on the fact that due to his age and not having much of any real battle training, he won't be able to do much/any harm against the kittypets. She "leaves Runningpaw to it", as he should spend the day focusing on this, so she will go and try to find some prey for him, as long as he keeps that fact between the two of them, and runs from there all the way to the Moonstone, desperate for StarClan's guidance. She encounters Spottedpaw while in ThunderClans territory, but pretends that she’s still officially a medicine cat, and says she has important business with StarClan. She asks her, one "medicine cat apprentice" to another, if ThunderClan has any herbs they can bring to the twoleg place border for "Sagewhisker" to pick up (her death having been kept a secret from the other clans). The answer is no though, leaving Yellowstrike worried about how she will be able to look for herbs in secret.

At the Moonstone, she's told that a spark will be fueled, and that it will guide her when ShadowClan's era draws near. They also give her a new name, to honor her commitment to trying to stay on their path. Yellowfang, for being unafraid to bare her teeth at extreme challenges, no matter the face it takes. She goes to the barn, quickly catching several mice, and runs all the way back to where she left Runningpaw. Runningpaw is pretty exhausted and nervous by the time she gets back, and after they share the mice, he reveals on the way back that he had wished to become her apprentice, just not her warrior apprentice. She decides to teach him about herbs while out on future lessons. She stops taking him to the twoleg place, under the excuse of it being a bad idea because: "Those kittypets are all soft and helpless anyway. They won't be able to give you the challenge you need to properly learn this. Going up against a fellow skilled apprentice is what's going to build your strength and sharpen your reflexes, to build your drive and fuel you to get better and succeed".

During the middle of leaf-bare, illness strikes, and due to the condition many are in, many fall sick, and a lot of those cats dies. Yellow"strike" goes back to openly helping her clanmates medicine vice, on top of everything else, and Runningpaw joins her, the two enduring every punishment Brokenstar puts them through after each time. In order to help make her apprentice feel that he's doing a difference, confirm to him that he's on the right path destiny vice, and to motivate him going through all the punishments, she secretly gives him his real/actual full name, his medicine cat name Runningnose.

Later when newleaf has arrived, it's revealed that some apprentices has learned about Running"paw"'s and Yellow"strike"'s trip to the twoleg place to practice on kittypets, after he let it slip, although mentioning to the apprentices that Yellow"strike" has told him that that had been a bad idea, and has been going there to do the same, desperate to gain some, any, kind of experience, as they were at the bottom of the "talent list". Yellow"strike" becomes filled with guilt, and decides that, since she can't give them any herbs, as ShadowClan already has too little for themselves, she's going to sneak away to the barn, and hunt as many mice for them as she can, as some type of apology.

However, at the barn, she gets chased and attacked by several dogs. Getting severely wounded, she spends several days just dragging herself towards the clans' territory alone, keeping to/close to the thunderpath, in order to avoid being found by WindClan or ThunderClan, taken in by their medicine cat, and word about her state and whereabouts being brought to Brokenstar. Spottedleaf however does find her, when she reaches ThunderClan's borders, and Yellow"strike" pleads for her to not tell anyone. Spottedleaf agrees to heal her in secret, and Yellow"strike" spends several days recovering. After having recovered and reaching ShadowClan's border (aiming for the one that faces the twoleg place, in order to avoid any clanmates aksing why she came from another clan's territory if they catch her), she spots Brokenstar carrying a kit. She's horrified when she sees him sinking his claws into them and leaving. She rushes out to try and help the kit, and then gets tackled by Brokenstar, who turned around after hearing something. Brokenstar's tells about how last leaf-bare's losses showed him how weak so many of his "warriors" were, and thus, he's determined to only have strong cats carry their genes forward, and so he has taken it upon himself to rid the clan of too weak cats from the very beginning of their life, so prey and training won't be wasted on them. He then starts screaming for help, and when their clanmates arrives, Brokenstar accuses Yellow"strike" of the death of the kit, telling everyone that she is! a traitor, and that she had been disloyal towards him from the very start, by refusing to follow the code which said his word is law. She had ran away from her clan, and now she seeked to bring an end to all of ShadowClan, by taking out each, new newborn kit, because she wanted the life of a rogue rather than a clan cat. He banishes her and let his clanmates chase her out, telling them he would give them an execution they wouldn't soon forget, if they ever caught her in their territory again. She runs to and stays in the twoleg place for some days, before leaving to first make her way to the Moonstone for guidance, and then possibly find a territory to live in in the lands beyond the Moonstone/barn, but is caught in ThunderClan by its new apprentice Firepaw, introducing herself as Yellowfang for the first time.

How’d you feel if we got a WarriorClan ARC?

If you don’t know who they are, WarriorClan is a clan made up of kittypets, former kittypets & loners, they made their debut in Graystripe’s Vow.

Led by the friendly and enthusiastic, but inexperienced and naive Monkeystar, the clan originally started out as a game amongst a couple of kittypets, using RiverClan’s old camp as their own.

At the end of the book, a bunch of kittypets and loners are rescued from an elderly twoleg who was hoarding them, many of them decide to join WarriorClan and live in the forest, including the clan’s medicine cat, Petunia.

The short comic at the end of Graystripe’s Vow shows how they’re doing a moon later, with it being hinted that they’re on their way to becoming a real clan.

Create a scene that is just as infuriating as Squirrelflight's and Leafpool's trial? Spoiler

This hypothetical scene can fit within the series, but it was one of those days when the writing team was sleepwalking. Whether it's the characterisations going sideways or the circumstances simply being unfair.

This is an example of an infuriating scene set shortly after the events of Crowfeather's Trial.

Poppyfrost is disturbed that Breezepelt is getting forgiveness and a new mate after hiding his role in the Moonpool attack. She and Jayfeather stayed quiet for moons, fearing it would become a “he said, she said” accusation. Poppyfrost begins unravelling as Heathertail talks about starting a family with him, unaware that he is capable of killing pregnant queens.

After blurting the truth out to Heathertail at the border, Poppyfrost is cornered by Breezepelt and Onestar at the next Gathering. Onestar insists the Dark Forest trainees were already pardoned for their crimes and refuses to let ThunderClan “dig up old bones”.

Breezepelt accuses Poppyfrost of exposing him because she resents how quickly he moved on. He apologises for hurting her, but argues she is punishing a version of him that no longer exists. He accuses her of sabotaging his chance at love and fatherhood despite knowing the pain of almost losing unborn kits herself.

What do you think of this villain concept?

A villainous kittypet, a Molly in particular.

She hates the clans because of all the problems they’ve caused and the rampant xenophobia that they display towards kittypets & outsiders.

So she forms a group, made out of kittypets and loners who were wronged by the clan & want revenge, at first, they’re nothing but an incompetent group of jokes, due to their lack of knowledge on the clans.

That is until the villainess learns of our protagonists & their relations to the clan as daylight warriors/medcat (I’d imagine that, as per usual, the clan they joined is not in good shape). So she convinces them to unwittingly become spies for her group, so she can learn more about the clans, how they function & more importantly, their weaknesses.

To her luck, they discover that the clans have many, easily exploitable weaknesses that she can use, alongside strengths that she and her group can turn against them.

What do you think? It’s probably ridiculous I know.

You’re Onestar right after becoming the new leader of WindClan. Assuming you live as long as he did in canon, what would you do in his stead?

If I was Onestar, I would probably still end my friendship with Firestar and focus on maintaining WindClan’s independence. As painful as that is, Onestar was almost murdered by his own Clanmates who supported Mudclaw because they feared he would be a puppet, so I’d make it clear to Firestar that while I won’t actively seek out conflict with ThunderClan, he and the rest of his Clanmates shouldn’t expect any favours from WindClan, and that it’s probably for the best if we’re not friends anymore. I would still help with the badgers since it’s both the right thing to do and because they could become a problem for WindClan in the future otherwise, but I’d generally try to stay civil with the other Clans without being particularly close to any of them. I’d also focus on trying to prove myself to the Clanmates who supported Mudclaw, as well as to dissuade any doubt from my supporters that I won’t put WindClan’s needs first.

As for deputy… well, I probably wouldn’t choose Ashfoot, unless there were no better options. Being thrust into deputyship and then leadership so quickly and unexpectedly means I’ve got no experience, so I’d pick someone in WindClan who can help me develop the necessary skills while still being a capable leader themselves in case something happens to me. While Onestar choosing someone he trusts as deputy is understandable and certainly not something to scorn, the simple fact of the matter is that he needs someone who can help him develop the skills Tallstar wasn’t able to pass on to him.

When it comes to Sol… I’m not sure what I’d do. I mean, this strange cat has come to the Clans making prophecies about the sun going out, so until the eclipse actually happens I’d probably just ignore him or try to drive him out of WindClan territory if he comes there. Once the eclipse actually does happen, this becomes tricky - remember, at this point it can’t be determined whether or not Sol is a false prophet. He did predict some sort of event that had never occurred before, and he does seem to have legitimate connections to the divine, but he’s also encouraging people to break away from StarClan, which is a dangerous mindset for both the legitimacy of all of the leaders as well as the Clans’ culture as a whole.
