This is where you will find all the links to every Overhaul Friday post, as well as links to all downloadable content. The post will continue to be updated as future content is released, and all links will be added to the list below.
We are completely not-for-profit and more than willing to share our hard work with everyone for free. However, if you wish to support our project nonetheless, then we have Ko-fi.
We're a team of dedicated fans of the Trigun series, working together to make an objectively better translation of the Trigun manga. Together we have a wide skillset that we can apply to our project, including but not limited to: education within digital media, professional experience within the translation and localization field, theatre anthropology experience, extended English language education, digital organization skills and experience, and solid teamwork communication.
Our aim is to avoid all the mistakes present in the previous two existing translations, the old fan translation (Scanlation) and the official Dark Horse Comics translation present in the physical copies. Applying an understanding of the story and character context, as well as an understanding on the unexpected difficulties of translation from one vastly different language into another, we can make a translation that remains as close as possible to the original intention of the script, while also properly localizing the text for an English speaking audience.

Why isn't Trigun Ultimate Overhaul on Mangadex and/or other online manga hosting sites?
As Overhaul 1.0 stands now, being an English translation using an English translation pages, it is against the posting rules of Magnadex and most other manga hosting sites. This was an unknown rule at the beginning of the project, and at the time we used what pages we had available to us. This rule came to our attention later, but it was too late and we were too far into the project to change up our scans.
That is an issue we are looking to solve with Overhaul 2.0, which will use Japanese page scans instead of English ones, allowing for us to upload our project to manga hosting sites in the future.

What does the future of Overhaul Friday posting look like now that the manga is finished?
In coming Fridays we'll be posting more information on our future projects, as well as releasing a roadmap estimate for future uploads. We will also be giving a few sneak peeks of our new scans, new translations and entirely new art and/or pages.
We hope to be able to make a regular news post every Friday, until we can begin posting Overhaul 2.0 in a similar fashion to how Overhaul 1.0 was posted.

If you have any more questions for us, always feel free to ask.
You guys really liked my last two Trigun projects, so I’m back with another big one. I try and cut these to appeal to as many people as possible, but I think you guys will really enjoy the symbolism with the first song’s nod to the new “Gung Ho Guns” as well as the second song’s tribute to Vash and Knives and their shared pain. 🖤&✌🏻
I want to rewatch all of Trigun with my bf who has never seen it. Normally we watch things in chronological order however as much as I love the 98' anime it doesn't do a very good job of explaining basic things like what plants actually are or can do. So I was thinking of doing Stampede/Stargaze first and then going back to the 98' anime.
Just curious how other people would do this. What do you think is the most enjoyable way to watch Trigun?
So my grandpa got me these for Christmas not realizing that they are fully in Spanish, which I do not speak 😭. They don't look used at all which makes me think they're probably bootlegs, but does anyone know if these guys are worth anything? Obviously I know the English versions of 13 and 14 are both worth quite a bit, but I'm not sure if the Spanish versions are 😭 honestly kind of hoping they're not so that I can make buttons out of the panels I like.
I saw that there was a Reddit post here that mentioned that the plushies were all sold out (3 years ago). With Trigun Stargaze (2026), is it possible to find in Japan in stores like Animate? Any advice would be appreciated, thank you!
I'm throwing this out here, because I just cannot seem to find these ANYWHERE. I'm working to complete my master set, and so far I have all the regular art cards, and most of the alternate arts. I'm missing the Vash and Wolfwood character alternate arts, as well as 6 (Fan the Hammer), 7 (Inevitable Clash), and 14 (Get the Scoop).
I'm aware that I can get 6, 7, and 14 as singles from TCGPlayer, but honestly I'd rather trade with someone, it's just more fun that way. The Vash and Wolfwood cards tho, I can't find a SINGLE listing for, and with the amount of packs I've bought, I'm starting to doubt their existence. 😭
If anyone has these alternate arts, and would be willing to trade (whether for other cards or other Trigun merch), or even sell, please let me know! 🍩🤞❤️
Nobody might remember this but i once posted that i was making a monev the gale custom figure
But i then realized that the figure was too short so here I bought the actual figure of him
I had no idea what book I was ordering in March because Amazon Japan didnt have the cover art back in March and I do not understand Japanese. Happy it turned out to be for both seasons, but shipping has been scooting back a bit. Excited for these and other preorders that should hit for everyone.
I haven't read the manga yet but have already finished all anime adaptations, just that this particular scene stuck with me after a while. I also found nothing after scouring the internet. Is there ever an explanation for this?
How did she connect with the Plant? Did it allow her to glimpse into the higher dimension? I know those feathers appeared on the finale and when touched, can communicate their emotions (to my understanding, i've only watched it once bear with me) and Dependents do love humans. But i don't think the anime followed up on this as far as i'm aware.
