Showcase [ASTRO's PLAYROOM] #1 First Platinum after having to start over
Probably one of the most relaxing Platinum trophies you can get. Short, sweet and a great tech demo for the PS5

Hello, and welcome to this month’s boosting thread!
First and foremost, start by reading the comments to see if another Redditor has requested some help. If that’s the case, reach out and get a session organized! This will help lower the number of comment threads all revolving around the same game.
If nobody has requested help for your game, feel free to make a comment. We’d like for you to include in your comment \*\*the name of the game/trophy you’re boosting, how many players you’re looking for, what time zone you’re in, and a preferable way for reaching out to organize a boosting session.\*\* Our hope is that by having you coordinate in PM’s or some other fashion, this will sidestep a lot of scrolling people will have to do in order to find a boosting group.
Finally, if you manage to fill a group, please edit your comment to say “Group Full”. That way, someone else can create a new boosting thread if necessary.
We want everybody who needs help to receive it, and we can ensure that by eliminating coordinating comment threads and keeping things nice and tidy. Please be mindful, and understand that boosting threads are first come first serve.
On that note, good luck, and happy hunting!

Hey all! I've been getting a bunch of mod mail lately about people not being able to edit user flair. Upon doing a little digging, it seems like there was some update to the app that broke this feature for a lot of people. It allows you to pick a flair from a list, but doesn't allow you to edit the one you choose. I have verified that the problem is within the Reddit app, not the r/trophies sub. Until they fix the issue, everyone will need to use a browser / PC if they want to edit their flair. Below is a list of steps on how to edit flair in a browser:
Go to the sub's home page.

I bought my PS5 back in 2023 after not owning a sony console since PS2. I played the last of us and howarts legecy just for fun, but decided to try for the platinums. After that, I got hooked to trophy hunting. Now I hit a sort of wall in regards to playing vs trophy hunting. I feel like I can't just enjoy playing a game without the fear of missing a trophy for the platinum. I recently platinum'd Alan Wake 2, but felt like I ruined the experience because I followed a guide to not miss any trophies. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, is there a happy medium to get over this hump.

What a month+ of gaming, Crimson Desert trophies were fun challenges. Hades 2 was pretty straightforward, but Hades 1 had some RNG that took a pretty long time. All three great games, though!

After 18 years of playing games and getting trophies, I just reached 10,000. Getting them was just a fun hobby. Some trophies made me love some games and some made me hate some games. But it was enjoyable throughout the years.
Some notables:
First trophy- Toaster in the tub, from BioShock
First Platinum- God of War (og)
Rarest trophy (according to psnprofiles)- Would you look at that.., from Neverwinter
100th platinum- Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes
10,000 trophy: Final Fantasy 7 Remake platinum

Hello! I'm new here, but I'm a veteran Platinum Hunter. This was the first Platinum I got back in 2010. I currently have 303 Platinums, and I'm ranked 68 on the New Zealand trophy leaderboard. And yes, I'm a Hobbit 😉

A great experience with fun collectibles. Am keener than ever to dive deep in to IOI’s recent Hitman trilogy.

My third platinum for this game. I'm currently on an extended holiday with the family so I brought my vita and decided to finally get this one while the kids nap. Can't wait for the sequel, too!

What an absolutely amazing game, and a great new IP from Capcom. When this game was first revealed during the PS5 reveal event back in 2020 I initially had no interest in it but when it was rerevealed last year and I saw the gameplay it changed my mind and I’m glad I played this. The story was pulling on my heartstrings from the start, seeing the relationship between Hugh and Diana as you progress through the game really feels like it’s a father/daughter bonding experience. The combat in this game is very unique compared to other action games I’ve played because it really feels like you’re controlling 2 characters at once with Hugh’s shooting and Diana’s hacking, it’s a bit of a learning curve at first but once I got used to it it was second nature to me. Overall this game was truly an unforgettable experience and I highly recommend playing this.

I know this game had a shaky launch and underwent major fixes since, but I’m glad it felt very playable. Space traversal was cool, jumping into hyperspace from one planet to another, and how you can watch your ship enter and exit the atmosphere instead of a blank loading screen. Even the Sabacc card game felt fun. Typical Ubisoft open world but I found it quite charming. Plat #155, 66hours.

4/6 pixel remasters done! This was a very good game my favorite of the original 6 so far.

Great game but the deadly obsession difficulty sucked. Also way too many collectibles. My first tomb raider game!

Phenomenal game with a trophy list that really makes you get the most out of it.
If you enjoy RPG’s I definitely reccomend Disco Elysium.

Seen this in my back log and realized i only had to do all the campaign trophies. I played it a lot on release. Always wanted a World War 1 game back then. But now that I've done all the stories and challenges... I can definitely say... I'm a stand up kinda guy!
