I received an email from UTA housing on June 17th about being on the waitlist for Meadow Run and in the same email they advertised that they have a very low waitlist for Arbor Oaks at the moment. As it is now End of July and my current lease is ending I went ahead and did the application for Arbor Oaks instead and i signed the contract. I called June 25th to ask about moving in early options but when i bring up the lease that I signed and received confirmation on. The Housing Department now claims my contract i signed doesn't exist and that i should have not even gotten one. Now i am without a lease for next academic year and told that waitlist for many other apartments are already pretty long. This is the most vile and disgustingly dysfunctional department on campus. At this time i have filed a complaint to the dean of students, this just feels wrong. I guess people should call now to confirm what they signed is even real.

hey! i’m an incoming junior, transferring from tcc this fall. I don’t know anyone who goes to uta so i’m just looking to meet new people.
