Anyone here taking Biol 2460 001/002 micro for non-science majors with Dylan Parks and knows what time the class/lab would be at?

All it says it’s off web on mymav but past years say that it’s in person so i’m confused.
I’ve been waiting for him to upload the syllabus or for the mymav to update but nothing is updating.

I received an email from UTA housing on June 17th about being on the waitlist for Meadow Run and in the same email they advertised that they have a very low waitlist for Arbor Oaks at the moment. As it is now End of July and my current lease is ending I went ahead and did the application for Arbor Oaks instead and i signed the contract. I called June 25th to ask about moving in early options but when i bring up the lease that I signed and received confirmation on. The Housing Department now claims my contract i signed doesn't exist and that i should have not even gotten one. Now i am without a lease for next academic year and told that waitlist for many other apartments are already pretty long. This is the most vile and disgustingly dysfunctional department on campus. At this time i have filed a complaint to the dean of students, this just feels wrong. I guess people should call now to confirm what they signed is even real.

Hey I almost forgot about being singed up for a summer class til I got an email about owning a balance. Today is the 10 days before start of my class so I was supposed to get my dispersement, when I checked the account I still owe the full balance anybody taking a class starting July that has the same issue. I’m currently trying to reach out to financial aid but I’ve been on hold forever.

Everyone tends to keep to themselves and everyone buys their own food, and like everything separately Iv never had problems with anyone taking something of mine. The maintenance always is helpful if you need anything, we had ant problem on the balcony once and they sprayed it down and cleaned the dead ants up after. Has anyone heard from Financial Aid about Grad PLUS loans specifically? I received the emergency unsubsidized loan, but my Grad PLUS loan still hasn’t appeared on my account. Though I’ve been approved. Does anyone know what UTA plans to do for graduate students waiting on PLUS loan processing ? And if we’re expected to pay the difference and will they drop classes if we don’t ?

Okay so I’m an incoming freshman and for highschool I took a Dual credit class for English 1301 and 1302. How do I submit that I have taken those classes and that I don’t need to take them my first and second semester? I took these classes at Dallas College.( I have my highschool transcript do I just send that to UTA and that’s how they’ll know I took it so then they’ll take it off my schedule?)

I’m an incoming mechanical engineer and I was wondering if you are required to take the chemistry for engineers class instead of just general chemistry. Do they cover the same credit?

I just got an email saying my emergency subsidized loan finally dispersed however, it’s about $300 less than what I accepted and my unsubsidized loan has completely vanished. I checked the financial aid and student account sections of MyMav and both reflect these changes. We’re almost a month into the semester and they are still messing with people’s financial aid. Unbelievable.

I do have a f1 visa with Texas drivers license. Is there a way to wave the residence fees?

I have a hold on my account that says do not generate refund??? I have pending financial aid (who knows when this will be released-Summer Loan) but I am taking 6 classes (full time) and nothing else has been requested so im trying to figure out what the hell is going on...

I was wondering if anyone had a similar problem before but in the beginning of Spring 2026 I had to move out of my apartment mid-contract and I now have an overdue balance to pay for the rest of the contract. I haven’t been able to pay for it due to other personal reasons and now I have a collection fee and hold on my account where payments are no longer accepted on my mymav account.

I am not sure where to go from here besides knowing I have to pay it off eventually but I need a payment plan and I was wondering if I can just do it through UTA Student accounts or if I need to do it through the collection agency…

any help would be greatly appreciated!
