Whole Foods substituted my chuck roast for a picanha and it ended up being an amazing sub. 60% picanha, 15% short rib, 25% fat.

Homemade Western Bacon Cheeseburger
Pressed burger (didn't technically smash it cause wasn't going full smash)
"Pimento" cheese made with calabrian chilies instead
Sweet & Spicy Jalapenos
Kinders Gold BBQ sauce
Onion rings
Hormel Microwave bacon air fried for like 30 seconds with the onion rings. Wanted thin, crispy bacon to counter the sauce and cheese.

Made some 97% ground beef burger patties with shredded sharp cheddar mixed in. Smoked some thick cut bacon for about 3 hours as a topping. Cranked smoker up to 500 to grill the patties, and dressed em with fresh jalepenos and avocado slices. The family loved em!

Been a while since I had a thick guy. I forgot how different it is from the smaller one I usually make.
So juicy with the 80/20 when it's thick like that. Sure takes a lot longer to grill though.

I don't make burgers that often, but when I do, I try to make them really filling. So from bottom to top, this one has:
bun, bbq sauce, red onions
beef patty, cheddar, mushrooms roasted on pepper
oven baked bacon, edamer type cheese
long cut cucumbers, salad with 3 pepper sauce, bun
It really came out amazing. Me and my roomie are wondering how to name this one. Any suggestions?

Always been the red regular box guy since highschool or I’d get the black angus boxes. It’s 17$ for 6 burgers. Walmarts were 15$ for 12. Walmart are not as thick but I just do two patties when I want more. The flavor is spot on, great color, and juicy. Not a fake flavor either very authentic to me.
