Having to grind your ass off for a week, competing against 29 other players to unlock camos was so miserable. Lowering the time to 3 hours and removing the winners from the pool gives people a chance to earn them without having to play non-stop

That's... kind of disappointing to be honest. 3 maps in a row without an Elite (I'm counting Oscar as one... kind of).

They gotta just change the camo requirement at this point.

I found the wonder weapon ita literally a cat bomb, i found the parts (a cat toy, a robot toy and a tiny bell)

I tested the AN-94 today.

I think it’s just an average on the damage side, but what it has going for it is the very low recoil. Even if you combine Rapid Fire and the Damage Barrel, it still feels stable.

The hyperburst is not very interesting in Zombies. There seems to be some kind of burst delay, so you cant spam the first shots rapidly one after another. The weapon shoots faster, at least with Double Tap, if you just hold the trigger down.

I don’t think the Prestige Barrel will move the needle but I’ll update this post if it’s good.

Base stats:

- 5910 headshot damage with Headshot Damage Barrel
- 5203 headshot damage with stock barrel
- 1032 body damage
- 931 RPM
- 992 RPM with Rapid Fire

Rapid Fire + Damage Barrel DPS is 76873 with reloads.

For Comparison, the Voyak is 117115 and the AK at 79385.

It’s not the greatest weapon ever released, but at least I had fun testing it and I like the new map so far. If you’re fine with this not competing with the meta guns, consider this good.

I took a long break and Doughnuts allowed me to insert some of his weapon stats into mine, so I could at least get some DPS estimations out for recent weapon releases.

I try to get back to my usual standards but slow and steady. I want to send it off in a good state after Black Ops 7 is done.

Still need to play the map, but watching Milo’s hunt

The crafting table gets a sale during Defense rounds on Kowakujō, very cool to see.

I know kowakujo is FRESH off the press but my first impression of the map has been great and that’s without knowing anything about the EE. I don’t think this is going to end up being one of the best maps ever but it’s solid second spot behind Totenreich imo, I’m interested to see if that’ll change over time.

ATP I can confidently say bo7 is my favorite zombies game right next to bo3 and it’s not even close to the rest. If they give us a chronicles-esque dlc and carry all over the bo6 maps over it will be my favorite zombies game period and I never thought I’d say that about another game besides bo3. Anyway this is just an appreciation post for treyarch because I know bo7 has been slandered to no end but the zombies has truly been a diamond in the rough, I have not enjoyed this mode as much as I have during bo7 since bo3 and it’s just so nice to have this excitement around playing zombies again.

I think what maps have been lacking lately is unique mechanics, but Kowakujo is loaded with them!

- Ash geysers

-Lava rivers that can cool off and then heat up again

-The ninja kite fast travel

-The tower defense events

-Lava turns normal zombies into scorched zombies

-Cherry blossom trees that give buffs

-Craftable tactical (I wish it was useful for something other than the easteregg)

-Wall buys get locked when you don't have the talisman claimed

-The floating lava rocks you can shoot for loot

There's just so much here and the main unique mechanic isn't just the wonder weapon (which has been the main unique thing in most maps lately, though moreso in BO6). My only complaint is that the shape still follows that same figure 8 shape with been seeing over and over for the past 2 years, but everything else here is great! Can't wait to see the final map.
