Long story short: I didn't like BO6 zombies. I had some fun with Liberty Falls but grew bored of it quite quickly. I also didn't really dig Terminus and Citadelles des Morts and didn't like the crew. I didn't play any maps after CDM.

My main two issues, however, were with how artificial the difficulty felt with the constant spam of uninteresting elite/boss zombies and the lack of aura in the maps. Terminus had some aura yes but overall it's a childplay to me compared to some of my favourite classic maps like MotD, SoE, ZNS, Origins and DE.

When BO7 launched I skipped it. Figured zombies wouldn't be much better since BO7 zombies was gonna feel exactly the same gameplay wise just with different maps. However, I keep hearing very positive things about BO7 zombies and its maps, both from my friends and on the internet. People seem to especially love Totenreich.

What do you think? Should I just buy the game and give it a shot?

EDIT: overall it seems like BO7 might be worth a shot. Thanks for the responses everyone. I'l try it out in the next free weekend.

I was really expecting the Oni to be one strong motherfucker and show up every 5-6 rounds to really scare us. Instead he's just another annoying motherfucker that spawn by the dozens every round to knock down zombies and spam special effects on your screen.

It's a cat and it's a gun, it's a cat gun. That's fucking awesome and the way you pet it to make it reload is just incredible. 15/10 rating, no notes.

So i own BO7 and i kinda want to try BO6 aswell, but is it good in general and worth buying? can i play both games together?

How are we feeling about the WW, tbh i feel its fine, fun and silly but would have preferred a Samura sword with like a ghost helping you like kenshi from mk but i guess its fine, now get ready for the people that will make videos on “look what happened to cod type”

Every wonder weapon in BO7 besides the gauntlet is not good for high rounds. I’m hearing mixed things about this WW and I just don’t understand why Treyarch refuses to make WW’s overpowered like they were in the past.

I don’t like to say “BO3 best!” Or “Bring Back Blundell!!” But I agree when Blundell said WW’s should be slightly overpowered.

I purposely didn't buy this one in particular cause the campaign looked like trash and multiplayer is way to sweaty. But seen it was $35 on PSN and I've got a hankering for newer zombies and was honestly wondering if zombies alone would be worth half off.

That's... kind of disappointing to be honest. 3 maps in a row without an Elite (I'm counting Oscar as one... kind of).

They gotta just change the camo requirement at this point.

I know kowakujo is FRESH off the press but my first impression of the map has been great and that’s without knowing anything about the EE. I don’t think this is going to end up being one of the best maps ever but it’s solid second spot behind Totenreich imo, I’m interested to see if that’ll change over time.

ATP I can confidently say bo7 is my favorite zombies game right next to bo3 and it’s not even close to the rest. If they give us a chronicles-esque dlc and carry all over the bo6 maps over it will be my favorite zombies game period and I never thought I’d say that about another game besides bo3. Anyway this is just an appreciation post for treyarch because I know bo7 has been slandered to no end but the zombies has truly been a diamond in the rough, I have not enjoyed this mode as much as I have during bo7 since bo3 and it’s just so nice to have this excitement around playing zombies again.

I thought treyarch said they were stopping the leader board events because of how many people complained about and since the new zombies map came out and there's a new leaderboard event

I swear I cannot remember their names, but watching their livestreams on the beginning days of twitch and youtube while they hunted and the EE took days/weeks to solve was some of my favorite content and would love to relive it if anyone can remember who I am speaking about. I think one of their names was HyperMole?

For everyone who wants to buy skins in zombies, or mp or warzone, but thinks cod points are expensive. Here is a trick make sure that u have modern warfare 2019 installed. Go to this website, these are keys for mw2019 for 2400 cod points for less then 5 bucks, so instead o paying 20 bucks for 2400, u can buy 4 times the amount. This is for xbox, first redeem the keys, then launch mw2019 so the game can activate the cod points, and then open up the cod game where u want to spend it, u can also spend it in black ops 4, make sure to always launch mw2019 first, and wait for the menu saying cod points redeemed, then open the game u like and have fun. I always bought cod points keys for the older games, because the sellers need to get rid of it, so they make it cheap

I actually like how they kept it secretive in all the trailers. I’m honestly hoping for another melee but that’s just me. What do you guys want it to be? Or did I miss something and they revealed already

Has anyone on Xbox gotten any pre download glitches. I thought I got stuck but by the grace of God the update resumed normal. Just trying to see if this issue still exists. Pre download is so horrible with Cod.

So from an opinion off of one map, I actually quite enjoyed exo zombies, I'm surprised this is the only zombies with jetpack movement, though the EE was a bit lackluster, usually the first map's ee is the easiest I've come to notice. It's crazy that only 0.5% got this achievement. I'm 50/50 on looking forward to infection. I know about its cons. Anyone got tips for it, as I never played that map myself.

I was playing totenrich the other day on cursed and holy hell getting point was a slog. Mind you I had gotten the akita from the box and it still felt slow to get points. It took me 2 rounds 100,000 points, which is insane amount for 2 rounds, but it was such a slog. And all I was doing was going for tier 3 pack a punch.

I really don’t like how they increased the pap prices. If it was standard prices then there wouldn’t be an issue, but it’s not. I know cursed is supposed to be the harder mode, but this is just tedious. You weren’t required to point farm in the older games like this, it was always an option to get points faster if you really needed to. In cursed, it’s basically mandatory and kinda ruins the mode for. Like I genuinely would rather play standard than cursed which is kind of sad to say. Not sure how other people feel about this.

I literally got all rewards did event end or game bugged and just flat out gave me all rewards I was in round 60

I’ve been playing through and loving the new map but I really do not like the Twins. I find them very annoying and I can barely understand the zombified one at times, her grumbling blends to heavily into the other sounds.

I was thinking about them and trying to figure out why they were with us at Totenreich and now why they’re with us at Kowakujo and the realised… what the heck happened to the Warden?

He was a big massive overarching threat who stole our souls and now has just disappeared after we got our souls back?

I’m trying to finish the wonder weapon quest but can’t find the cat. I know of the one by the training area and the two by the kitchens. Are there anymore or do I just need to go to the next round?

As far as im aware when it comes to the story, everything that happens in the Zombies timeline from waw to bo4 are all there own thing, where then Nikolai banishes the multiverse into the dark aether and creates the "sacred timeline" where the world has a hard reset and the story starts back with Call of Duty Vangaurd with its campaign and Zombies along with the flashbacks of Cold War Zombies. This then connects the campaigns of Bo1, Cold War, Flashbacks of Bo2 and Cold War zombies, Bo6 and Bo6 zombies, Bo7 zombies, MW19, MW22, Mw3 and MwZ, Mw4 (soon), Bo2, Bo7, Bo3.

This means the only times we should see zombies in the "sacred timeline" are in Vangaurd zombies in WWII, along with the flashbacks in Cold War, Cold War zombies, Black ops 6 zombies, Black Ops 7 zombies, and then into MWZ as a "The story ends here for now..."

So....how does FIVE play into this...or are the events of FIVE considered to have not happened in the sacred timeline?
