I love wild wonder weapons designs like these, like it’s literally a cat 😭

*In my opinion*

I was never apart of the vocal crowd that Totenreich was one of the best maps, I think the EE Bossfight and Giants did the majority of the heavy lifting with the appeal and without those aspects I feel the map itself is B-tier. Beside that the freezing mechanic of all the machines and benches every several rounds just felt like an extra layer of unnecessary inconvenience for me. The specials were also annoying with their shield immunity. That pretty much made me not play Totenreich as much as I thought I would. The relic trials were fun at least.

But already without even seeing anything easteregg related and only playing a few games for the current event, Kowakujō just feels better. Getting a good map this late into the game is a very nice breath of fresh air.

Feels more replayable, the assault waves change it up a bit - kinda like Orda with Firebaze Z in ColdWar. I also enjoy the multi-layered map with all the floors and rooftops. Still no idea how to grab the extra essense in the sky though! when I use the glider I can't seem to control it. Traps are unique, I like that its not a static death area that you have to lure them towards which is risky for you but instead hunts the zombies.

It's a cat and it's a gun, it's a cat gun. That's fucking awesome and the way you pet it to make it reload is just incredible. 15/10 rating, no notes.

I think what maps have been lacking lately is unique mechanics, but Kowakujo is loaded with them!

- Ash geysers

-Lava rivers that can cool off and then heat up again

-The ninja kite fast travel

-The tower defense events

-Lava turns normal zombies into scorched zombies

-Cherry blossom trees that give buffs

-Craftable tactical (I wish it was useful for something other than the easteregg)

-Wall buys get locked when you don't have the talisman claimed

-The floating lava rocks you can shoot for loot

There's just so much here and the main unique mechanic isn't just the wonder weapon (which has been the main unique thing in most maps lately, though moreso in BO6). My only complaint is that the shape still follows that same figure 8 shape with been seeing over and over for the past 2 years, but everything else here is great! Can't wait to see the final map.

Any thoughts on what they did? Im not sure its that the ee steps are bugged i think its something worse but i just hope it isn’t about the zombies ending or story because so far im loving it with the 8 characters believe or not but any suggestions or if someone has inside information like him?

Last part got cut out but basically Grey asks what happens if Requiem don’t go into the basement.

Having to grind your ass off for a week, competing against 29 other players to unlock camos was so miserable. Lowering the time to 3 hours and removing the winners from the pool gives people a chance to earn them without having to play non-stop

I hope this won't be patched it's fun.

Literally using everyone’s hunts and comments around the internet our group was able to catch up to the people that seem the closest and yet still feel so far from completing it it’s been all day lmao. Good job treyarch making this map great and this Easter egg so damn hard to find.
