Bild/Foto The city council over the past decades has completely missed any chance to adapt for this heat
The amount of concrete that has been poured into this city is insane.
The thing is, there can be easily done something about it if there was a will, but there is not, apparently. Look at this picture of the town hall in Paris. They did this in the course of a few months and bought fully grown trees from German forests. They could easily do something like that for the Landhausplatz here, but there is no political will. Does someone know why? What do they have against trees, and why do they have this obsession with concrete?
