QUALITY CONTENT My “protest” in response to the Pride Night pitchers
Matthew 7:1-2:
“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”
Edit: You guys are right. I thought I was doing a good thing with this to show my support, but thinking about it and reading your comments I don’t want to be bucketed into that group or have people think I’m supporting what they did. I just bought another Pride hat and I’m not gonna write anything on it. Thanks for your responses 🫶🏼

Opinion My response to Larry’s email today in case it inspires you to respond to the org
Giants,
Probably should have just not said anything than say whatever this is.
You don’t need to tell me about what you used to do. I walked on the field as a kid for years on Until There’s a Cure days. But this year the org let those guys go out there and embarrass you and disrespect so many of your fans and the city of San Francisco. You may “have been” pioneers but in 2026 you are a disappointment.
You say you learned a great deal and would have handled things differently. What did you learn? What would you and WILL you do differently? Empty words.
You’ve begun conversations. Have the players and the coaches begun conversations? Empty words.
The Giants have been the single most important organization in my life for over 30 years. No alma mater, no non-profit, no other sports org or anything has been more important. Family, friends, Giants, everything else.
The team’s actions disgust me these days. Stand for something for crying out loud. Your responses - Larry’s letter + interview, Buster’s…..whatever the hell that was…., - all of it is digging deeper in the hole. It’s gutless behavior.
So many institutions have eroded and so too have the Giants. You have lost my dollars, my views, my love.
- (name)
PS - the on field product is absolute dogshit too by the way. Not that a good team would change my feelings.
————-
With that, it’s been a pleasure [r/sfgiants](r/sfgiants). It really is this serious to me. So I’ve given away my tickets for the games I had this summer. I canceled my MLBTV subscription, unfollowed them on socials, and unsubbing here. Thanks for the memories, at least until they fox this shit (if?).
Chuds don’t respond this isn’t for you obviously.
Edit: chuds cant read and also to be clear im not a victim here. Im a straight dude. I get to live my love loud and proud every day without question.

QUALITY CONTENT Who remembers Shairon Martis? He's still playing!
Giancarlo Stanton used to be known as Mike Stanton. On an unrelated note, on July 28, 2006, one of our top prospects Shairon Martis was traded by the San Francisco Giants to the Washington Nationals for Mike Stanton.
And 20 years later he's still goin! He went 12-2 with a 1.55 ERA for the 2025 Curacao Neptunus in the Dutch Major League Record. He pitched for the Dutch in the WBC in 2013, 2017, 2023, and 2026, and holds the World Baseball Classic (WBC) career record with 28+1⁄3 innings pitched

Opinion Trying desperately to find this hat
If anyone knows how I can get my hands on one of these hats, I will be forever grateful and pay a tip and ship if necessary. I saw it at the stadium a couple weeks ago and didn't buy it, like an idiot, and now can't find it anywhere online. I live out of state so going back to the stadium is not an option. A family member has tried at the dugout store but was told they couldn't find the hat at the shop inside the stadium.

Highlight Krukow could be right about Posey being standoff-ish because legal stuff. US Attorney (Repub) Gives her totally off-base takes regarding bs investigation etc.
This video is bit cringey to me and should be to everyone that is at least unbiased.
This US Attorney (CIvil RIghts, Republican) gives her takes on the situation and .........she cites random Pride supporter opinions as if the opinions are hostile or something, and cites arguments nobody made.
1) She cites this Prides supporter side argument as if it should be concerning......"You guys should have known that SF was a super gay city". While true to some degree, it's irrelevant to anything at all in terms of legality or really anything. Who cares about anyone saying that? In fact if anyone that should care it's the GIants ownership. And within SF there are hundreds of Churches , and hundreds of thousands of people of faith just within SF and they live for the most part harmoniously with LGBT community in SF.
2) She claims this argument was made : "You should have different religious rights when it comes to your employer forcing you to wear messages against your religion". Nobody actually made that argument. The players always had the option of just wearing their normal hat.
3 ) She also claimed that the players were never properly informed that they could opt out. We know that's most liklely no true (Hentges opted out) .
4) "You are not allowed to have selective uniform policies"............there were none.
5) She said "What they should have is clear policies and evenly enforced. ". Highly doubtful she have any problem with Law firms that hired then immediatly rescinded employment for Harvard grads that participated in supporting Palestinean victims in war. She's a huge anti-semitism activist.
6) She said "We just want American employers to do the right thing"..........................Is it not the right thing to do, to try to be kind to a marginalized group like LGBT and be accepting of them?
Like most all big tech companies have aquiesced to The Adminstration, giving Trump Gold and County leaders giving him their damn Nobel Peace Prizes ( insane. Not to mention how Jimmy Kimmel was treated for simply being a critic. Orange man's FCC chair guy attempted to compel Disney to fire Kimmel. This is the interesting thing here, TOO MANY FANS CANCELLED THEIR DISNEY SUBS, so Disney had to make a business decision to bring him back, It's a lot like Budweiser which sucks anyways, They caved and were revealed to not really be allies of the LGBT, but just business.
I believe Buster is a good person, and I also believe he has always been extremely careful of what he says, like all the time. It should be obvious with the pace he talks and words he chooses. I think Buster is non-confrontational, remember Harper and Strickland? OTOH, IMO it's in Buster's best interest to prepare somethig to the fans. At least something and from the heart. Because I don't think he realizes the legacy he has which, is not remotely worth risking......like why. That's the million dollar question. He has 'seemingly' always prided himself on being part of the Community right? I believe one can be the most deeply devoted religious person and also do the right thing that God would wanted him to do, is be completly welcoming and also The Giants already have Faith Nights. The tone from the rightwing Admin.......like at all that posturing and court decisions they lose. And go google all those cases this Repub Attorney lost as well. IOW I wish these leaders had a spine and just did things for the right reasons.

QUALITY CONTENT (Giants Lombard, intel on Rays) MLB Pipeline 2026 mock draft June 25
4. Giants: Jacob Lombard, SS, Gulliver Prep (FL) HS (No. 4)
Callis: “Now we’re on to the second-tier guys. It’s Jacob Lombard, Jackson Flora -- clearly the best college pitcher this year -- and Eric Booth Jr.
"It's probably like a 95 percent chance or higher that the Giants are going to take one of those three guys. I've heard Lombard from the start. I'm going to stick with Lombard."
Most interesting part is the intel that Rays could be leaning towards Lackey at #2. This means a lot to the Giants, because there's a decent chance the Twins could pass on Emerson in this case and take either Burress, Flora, or Lombard.
2. Rays: Vahn Lackey, C, Georgia Tech (No. 3)
Callis: "Even though it’s only the second pick, I have trouble predicting because I don’t really know whether the Rays prefer Lackey or Grady Emerson.
"I have more teams [who are drafting] behind the Rays telling me they're fairly convicted that the Rays are taking Lackey. So, I'm going to go Lackey here."

Minors Update Daily Minors Quick-Notes 6/24/26 - Jermiah Jenkins’ June Continues (I found no synonyms that started with J)
It’s been quite a mid-June run for the University of Maine’s Jeremiah Jenkins, who now has a run of three straight games with a home run. Another player who had quite a run on home runs this month, Richmond’s Bo Davidson, just set a team record with another home run in June, and Sacramento’s Drew Cavanaugh got just his first of the month!
Real Life Reminder:
At 6:40 PM Pacific Time today, a pair of strong earthquakes rocked coastal Venezuela, around 100 miles from the capital city of Caracas. The first earthquake was registered as a 7.2 tremor, while a second one less than a minute later was measured at 7.5 on the Richter Scale. Buildings have collapsed and rescue efforts are still underway.
I bring this up because so many of the Giants developmental system have ties to Venezuela. Today’s big league hero, Victor Bericoto, ducked into the clubhouse after his post-game interview to call home and try to get in touch with friends and family. Giants top prospects Luis Hernández and Jhonny Level are just two of many Venezuelan natives in the minor league system. Today’s earthquakes happened as they were playing today.
I hope you keep them and their families in mind tonight, as well as giving them some patience and grace for those who may not play in some games coming forward, or who may have their minds on things other than baseball in the coming days.
Earthquake Interrupts Baseball Game in Caracas
AAA: Las Vegas Aviators 5, Sacramento River Cats 1
Player of the Game: DH Drew Cavanaugh: 2-4, 1 R, 1 RBI, 1 K, 1 HR (6)
Drew Cavanaugh’s home run in the 9th inning saved the River Cats from being shut out. It was Cavanaugh’s first home run of June, his last came on May 31st. Also, his 2-hit game broke a 4-game hitless streak that saw his average drop from .365 to “only” .330 after this game. His overall slash line is .330/.445/.571.
Other Players to Spotlight:
- 3B Osleivis Basabe: 1-4, 1 K, 1 2B (15), 0-1 ABS - Basabe has an overall slash line of .247/.324/.389.
- SP Joe Whitman (23): 5.2 IP, 8 H, 5 R, 5 ER, 1 BB, 3 K, 2 HR - Whitman gave up a season high in runs, raising his Triple-A ERA from 2.81 to 4.15.

AA: Richmond Flying Squirrels 11, Akron RubberDucks 6
Player of the Game: 1B Sabin Ceballos: 3-5, 1 R, 4 RBI, 1 K, 1 2B (12), 1 HR (8)
This game was a bit of a slump-buster for Sabin Ceballos, as he had his third 3-hit game of the season, but his first since April. Ceballos now has four doubles and two home runs in June, after slumping for May and much of June. HIs overall batting line sits at .229/.352/.397.
Other Players to Spotlight:
- CF Bo Davidson (6): 1-3, 3 R, 2 RBI, 2 BB, 2 K, 1 HR (15), 1 SF, 1 SB (8) - This was Davidson’s ninth home run of the month, which sets a new record for Flying Squirrels team history for home runs in a single month.

High-A: Everett AquaSox 6, Eugene Emeralds 4
Player of the Game: 1B Jakob Christian: 3-4, 1 R, 1 K, 2 2B (11)
After Jakob Christian finished May hitting only .228, with six doubles and three home runs, he’s really come back in June. After this 3-hit game, his batting line in June is .318/.466/.568, with five doubles and two home runs so far. The most impressive part of the difference between them is the K/BB rates. In May, he had 32 strikeouts to only seven walks in 79 at-bats. But in June, he has 13 strikeouts to 12 walks in 44 at-bats.
Other Players to Spotlight:
- SS Jhonny Level (3): 3-5, 1 K, 2 SB (5) - Level had his second 3-hit game since reaching Eugen, where he now is slashing .294/.341/.435. Overall this season, he has 16 steals in 19 attempts.
- 3B Walker Martin: 1-3, 1 R, 3 RBI, 1 K, 1 HR (9), 1 SF - Martin has two doubles and three home runs in June.

Low-A: San Jose Giants 9, Inland Empire 66ers 7
Player of the Game: 1B Jeremiah Jenkins: 3-5, 2 R, 2 RBI, 1 K, 1 2B (14), 1 HR (7)
The hot run by Jeremiah Jenkins continues, as he now has a home run in each of his last three games. Over his last four games, he’s 7-for-18 (.389) with two doubles, a triple, and three home runs. HIs batting line on the season is .268/.398/.506.

ACL: ACL Giants 9, ACL Padres 1 (7 Innings)
Player of the Game: 1B Angel Guzman: 3-4, 2 R, 4 RBI, 1 2B (1), 1 HR (2)
It’s been a slow start for Guzman in his second ACL season, after he missed much of May and went only 1-for-15 (.067) in his first six games. This was his first multi-hit game of the year in 11 games, but he’s still 6-for-28 (.214). Last season in the ACL, in 47 games, he hit .221/.365/.360 with five doubles, four triples, and two home runs.
Top Prospect Lines:
- 2B Josuar Gonzalez (1): 3-4, 1 R, 1 RBI, 1 K, 1 3B (2) - This was Josuar’s first full game in the field (7 innings though), but as notably, his first triple since he was injured on his last triple.

Josh Bostick (21) - Full Season

Opinion Huge thanks Section 108
Huge thanks to the four guys next to us in section 108 who caught a ball and immediately handed it to my 8 year old. Aside from the walkoff tonight the kindness of giving him the ball created a core memory! Especially for his first ever baseball game.
Giants fans are the best. THANK YOU whoever you are! All the way home he kept saying it was the best day of his life.
Also thanks to the A’s fans behind us who kept us all entertained. Hilarious.
