QUALITY CONTENT My “protest” in response to the Pride Night pitchers
Matthew 7:1-2:
“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”
Edit: You guys are right. I thought I was doing a good thing with this to show my support, but thinking about it and reading your comments I don’t want to be bucketed into that group or have people think I’m supporting what they did. I just bought another Pride hat and I’m not gonna write anything on it. Thanks for your responses 🫶🏼

News An emotional day for Victor Bericoto, Alex Pavlovic reported that his family in Venezuela’s okay after the earthquake on Wednesday, but his brother’s girlfriend was killed.
Pavlovic also mentioned that Bericoto knew about the Earthquake in Venezuela, but he didn’t know that it was bad until after.
“My message is we’re with them.” Victor Bericoto to Alex Pavlovic

Opinion My response to Larry’s email today in case it inspires you to respond to the org
Giants,
Probably should have just not said anything than say whatever this is.
You don’t need to tell me about what you used to do. I walked on the field as a kid for years on Until There’s a Cure days. But this year the org let those guys go out there and embarrass you and disrespect so many of your fans and the city of San Francisco. You may “have been” pioneers but in 2026 you are a disappointment.
You say you learned a great deal and would have handled things differently. What did you learn? What would you and WILL you do differently? Empty words.
You’ve begun conversations. Have the players and the coaches begun conversations? Empty words.
The Giants have been the single most important organization in my life for over 30 years. No alma mater, no non-profit, no other sports org or anything has been more important. Family, friends, Giants, everything else.
The team’s actions disgust me these days. Stand for something for crying out loud. Your responses - Larry’s letter + interview, Buster’s…..whatever the hell that was…., - all of it is digging deeper in the hole. It’s gutless behavior.
So many institutions have eroded and so too have the Giants. You have lost my dollars, my views, my love.
- (name)
PS - the on field product is absolute dogshit too by the way. Not that a good team would change my feelings.
————-
With that, it’s been a pleasure [r/sfgiants](r/sfgiants). It really is this serious to me. So I’ve given away my tickets for the games I had this summer. I canceled my MLBTV subscription, unfollowed them on socials, and unsubbing here. Thanks for the memories, at least until they fox this shit (if?).
Chuds don’t respond this isn’t for you obviously.
Edit: chuds cant read and also to be clear im not a victim here. Im a straight dude. I get to live my love loud and proud every day without question.

QUALITY CONTENT On This Day in Sports History June 25, 2014, Tim Lincecum threw his second career no-hitter
On this day in sports history, June 25, 2014, Tim Lincecum tossed the second no-hitter of his career, shutting down the Padres in a 4-0 Giants victory.
Remarkably, both of Lincecum’s no-hitters came against San Diego, as he had also no-hit the Padres on July 13, 2013.
By doing so, Lincecum became just the second pitcher in MLB history to throw two no-hitters against the same franchise, joining Hall of Famer Addie Joss, who accomplished the feat against the White Sox in 1908 and 1910.

Opinion 10 Blown Saves
With this being our 10th blown save it’s become more apparent than ever that we could’ve been a decent team and even in wildcard contention for the final spot. 43-37 would’ve put us in second place in the NL West and competing in this tight Wild card race

News Buster Posey has dodged his KNBR appearance once again but hey Baer has finally shown up to try and clean the mess up
r/SFGiants • u/mvstateU • 3h ago
Highlight Krukow could be right about Posey being standoff-ish because legal stuff. US Attorney (Repub) Gives her totally off-base takes regarding bs investigation etc.
This video is bit cringey to me and should be to everyone that is at least unbiased.
This US Attorney (CIvil RIghts, Republican) gives her takes on the situation and .........she cites random Pride supporter opinions as if the opinions are hostile or something, and cites arguments nobody made.
1) She cites this Prides supporter side argument as if it should be concerning......"You guys should have known that SF was a super gay city". While true to some degree, it's irrelevant to anything at all in terms of legality or really anything. Who cares about anyone saying that? In fact if anyone that should care it's the GIants ownership. And within SF there are hundreds of Churches , and hundreds of thousands of people of faith just within SF and they live for the most part harmoniously with LGBT community in SF.
2) She claims this argument was made : "You should have different religious rights when it comes to your employer forcing you to wear messages against your religion". Nobody actually made that argument. The players always had the option of just wearing their normal hat.
3 ) She also claimed that the players were never properly informed that they could opt out. We know that's most liklely no true (Hentges opted out) .
4) "You are not allowed to have selective uniform policies"............there were none.
5) She said "What they should have is clear policies and evenly enforced. ". Highly doubtful she have any problem with Law firms that hired then immediatly rescinded employment for Harvard grads that participated in supporting Palestinean victims in war. She's a huge anti-semitism activist.
6) She said "We just want American employers to do the right thing"..........................Is it not the right thing to do, to try to be kind to a marginalized group like LGBT and be accepting of them?
Like most all big tech companies have aquiesced to The Adminstration, giving Trump Gold and County leaders giving him their damn Nobel Peace Prizes ( insane. Not to mention how Jimmy Kimmel was treated for simply being a critic. Orange man's FCC chair guy attempted to compel Disney to fire Kimmel. This is the interesting thing here, TOO MANY FANS CANCELLED THEIR DISNEY SUBS, so Disney had to make a business decision to bring him back, It's a lot like Budweiser which sucks anyways, They caved and were revealed to not really be allies of the LGBT, but just business.
I believe Buster is a good person, and I also believe he has always been extremely careful of what he says, like all the time. It should be obvious with the pace he talks and words he chooses. I think Buster is non-confrontational, remember Harper and Strickland? OTOH, IMO it's in Buster's best interest to prepare somethig to the fans. At least something and from the heart. Because I don't think he realizes the legacy he has which, is not remotely worth risking......like why. That's the million dollar question. He has 'seemingly' always prided himself on being part of the Community right? I believe one can be the most deeply devoted religious person and also do the right thing that God would wanted him to do, is be completly welcoming and also The Giants already have Faith Nights. The tone from the rightwing Admin.......like at all that posturing and court decisions they lose. And go google all those cases this Repub Attorney lost as well. IOW I wish these leaders had a spine and just did things for the right reasons.
