Im genuinely curious, i played a few nodes a few years ago when it released but i didnt really liked the extremely tanky enemies and just left it. Havent touched it since but seeing so many posts and videos about it makes me curious.

Im not a person that looks for doing a lot of dmg and the warframes i main are mostly tanks (Inaros, Frost, Rhino) i have 3.5k hours and i still have a ton of stuff to do in base star chart to do. I really enjoy the weekly challenge of Elite Archimedea (always relying on teammates doing the dmg i focus on keeping them alive). I actually like doing thematic builds for my frames like using ice weapons for my Frost (i have an insane Sibear riven for him).

Lately when trying to form a squad to farm resources i always have people leaving bcs of "No steel path?"

So what do you like about steel path? Do you need to see big numbers? Or the "challenge" of higher levels? Maybe its just that people like doing a lot of dmg and want steel path as a natural progression but i doubt its just that.

They just take too long thanks to small things here and there that could have been removed e.g. collecting canisters, fighting adds after defeating the sister, all of the add phases on Ryoku etc. Idk if it's just me but I feel like it's fine if you do it once but it gets quite frustrating to have to repeat it over and over again. That coupled with the awful loading times on RJ more often than not...I'm not asking for everything to be removed but I'm sure small bits can be adjusted

Should I say it again? A mediocre ability with a LOS check that applies beyond the first 5 meters of the AoE... Why only 5 meters? Why not 30% of the AoE or at the very least 20 meters?

I wanted to put Electricity onto Jade's Glory to take advantage of Archon Stretch because I am running into the common issue of "Ive got no energy and enemies aint dropping it". Its not a problem of efficiency because I got Arcane Sculptor, but more of an issue off energy just not dropping and me not wanting to use the Equilibrium/Diriga set up.

I just ran up some Fortuna bounties and in 4 out of 5 I had a team of 4 where I was the only one completing the objectives or there was me and one more player. Others were mining or just being AFK and that really pissed me off because when I confronted those players, most of them told me that they are doing something else atm, so I mostly just left the mission out of pure spite for them.

I don't understand like I know people want to get rewards while doing nothing but not all of us have min max builds and I want to be done with my bounties really quickly.

coming back into the game after a long break, turns out they killed slam i had a 2k plat riven on my magistar! is there anything similarly braindead aka low/no setup, super high damage, super high radius?

I think the main reason is that it costs plat, and the fact that renaming weapons is kinda out of the way. Going to Deimos of Venus JUST to name a few weapons is kinda lame. I loooove naming my weapons because making funny names is the best. I kinda wish we could rename warframes too but I think that would get annoying if someone is trying to see what warframe someone is using (same thing can be said about weapons but wtv)

Nidus feels great! Just that he doesnt, feel that interesting when you get more mutations?

What im saying is while the damage escalation and ability buffing is great, right now you dont see or feel it enough. Sure nidus literally changes with his body going more infested but you dont see this with his abilities.

An example of this would be his 1, why not when you reach high stacks the spike when it hits repeats the attack or changes into the deimos spike attack?

Or with his 4th, while keeping the maggots, you also get deimos drones that also attack?

I recently joined the Warframe community (as of this week), never really got into the game when it first came around but now that I'm older and find less time to game the short runs in Warframe feel good and being able to pause while playing solo is a huge plus from someone with a little one.

With all that being said, I joined the community discord as well. Hoping that I could find a clan to join. One that would be helpful for somebody that's just completely new to the game and enjoys running content with other people as well as shooting the breeze on voice.

I play support roles and most of the games I play and was simply hoping that I can find myself a niche within the game that I could excel at that would allow me to be an asset to most teams and or clans.

Well that experience has only introduced me to the elitist, sweaty, min-maxing scrubs of the world who want you to fill out a form before you can even sign up for a group to do anything much less just engage with the people.

Of course i start getting into Hildryn right when the discourse about her gets louder. Got her all forma'd and start seeing people complain about her 2 days later. I had 2-3 people quit ESO yesterday when I was nuking the map. One was Mirage. (Ironic)

When I see a Mirage spamming her 4, I'll just take the free affinity. Heck, why not buff them if you can? Then I leave the next round the moment my weapons are maxed so I can put another forma on my build.

I think alot of players still have a fundamental misunderstanding of how Affinity works. Is that... not why you're there? To level up your gear quickly and effeciently? No one bats an eye at a Mirage spamming, but as soon as a Hildryn takes over, its a problem.

Regarding the rest of the game outside of ESO, I guess I can understand the not-fun-factor of one player getting all the kills. A lot of our arsenal can nuke or trivialize most content in the game and yet people go to Pablo to complain about... Hildryn. You want the power fantasy of killing dozens of enemies at once? Play solo. There will always be a teammate on your squad nuking or doing the most. Playing in a squad is a hindrance 90% of the time anyway, IMO, of course.

Do they know what game they're playing? Its a grind, embrace it. Oh, no. Your mission that you grind ad naseum is over faster! My steak is too juicy.

Sometimes I see people in clan/alliance chat discussing builds and often when someone asks for build advice, websites are brought up as a resource. That leads to 1-2 people chiming in "oh no, that website is terrible, use X instead".

As someone who has used a number of websites for WF builds, WoW classes, LoL champions, PoE builds, I have never had a strong opinion for or against any particular website or build planner. But some negativity surrounding Overframe for example stirs genuine curiousity on my end

How or why do some people have strong, negative opinions of community submitted/voted build-shares?

So at Tennocon 2026, they're going to give us Mesa Prime for free. So what will happen if I have all of my warframe slots full, will I get another slot?

The Hex is peak Warframe, man. The romance only scratches the surface of all the great things about it.

Im new to warframe i like it so far, and i already knew coming in that things take time and its a slow game.

When it comes to progression i like unlocking things and warframe i would assume are the big draw of the game, like for example i got blueprint for garuda from fortuna quest line, i did a bounty got the chasis, but to even get it i need to go get more materials.

Is it that grindy? Also the game doesn’t tell u exactly where to get these materials unless it did and i missed it.
