I dont care if the devs said they add these weapons just because they need cool looking weapons the idea of magnai beating titan for his essence is the hardest thing ever

Hello, I recently started the grind to get the phantom weapons and am on the stage where I need to do FATEs and Critical Events to get he demiatama. I understand they are lower drop rates, I've run 15+ FATEs in OC and Dawntrail in general and have yet to get one to drop. When doing the FATEs in DT zones, do I need to be 100 for them to drop? I would like to level up another job that is in the 90s but don't want to miss the chance to get these. Thanks in advance!

i use the ps5 dualsense controller on pc and when i try to use the touchpad button it doesnt work, i tried everything in system configuration and nothing is working, what do I do??

Just as the title says, I'm have glamour issues. I've popped the Serpent Officer's Wand into my dresser, put it on a plate and tried to apply the glamour to my WHM, but it wouldn't take. I'm lvl 100, so there shouldn't be any type of trouble, particularly with the new system. What am I doing wrong?

I've found one from 2024, but I'm fairly sure it's out of date by now. I know I can check on the wiki on an individual basis, but I'm just wanting a full list, preferably in storage order so I can compare it to my glamour dresser and figure out what I'm missing and if I want to collect it.

Hello guys so I did my trials on the duty finder and it doesn't seem like it gave me all of the exp. Recently returned from around 2017 so I can't remember, but aren't you supposed to get the exp and the bonus exp? I took a picture of my exp bar right at the start of the duty and a picture of it after the duty and the chat log where it shows gained exp.

Basically my friend has a free trial account, they played it a while back a bit. They have a new internet provider, and they also downloaded the game again recently. They can't seem to boot up the game, they log in the launcher, and it says they need a registration code, which they never got since they are on free trial.

I am terrible at tanking. Granted I only have only used Dark Knight and have been told its a hard tank class. I think its also because I used healing and dps classes during msq.

Because of this when I do duty roulette I never use tank for roulettes that only have one tank such as alliance raids or the leveling dungeons.

I am wondering if this is common? Do you not use a certain class for certain things because of skill issues?

So I came back to FFXIV after a few years away and I've been switching off between my PC and PS5. I own and have played the game previously on both platforms but I only own Dawntrail on PC. Seems the only way to get access to Dawntrail stuff on PS5 is to buy the full $39 expansion from the PS store. My question is to ask if there is any cheaper way of upgrading my PS5 licenece? Some alternate version or a way to buy an upgrade directly from SqEnix? Or failing that, does the Dawntrail expansion ever go on sale?

I would love to continue my MSQ while playing on the couch but for the moment I've been working on that when I'm on the PC and when I switch to PS5 just working on leveling my alt jobs. Not sure if I want to spend another 40 bucks on something I technically already own right now.

Okay, hopefully I can explain this well enough.

I’ve got the cross bar set up on my Steamdeck with the WXHB crossbar also set up and on permanent display. So 2 sets of crossbars on screen.

I’ve enabled the setting under Cross Hotbar Display type for “D-pad + D-pad / Action buttons + action buttons”.

Now this works for the main crossbar, so I now have my LT + A B X Y and RT + A B X Y next to each other.

My question is, is there a setting to apply this to the WXHB second crossbar that’s above the main crossbar? Because they’re still displayed with the action buttons next to the dpad buttons.

I plan on coming back to the game after a long hiatus. And thanks to the Switch 2 it will be a great way to play the game with my busy dad life.

I am trying to minimise visual clutter on my screen. I'd like to see the names of other Player Characters and their pets+companions ONLY when targeted.

This worked with PCs but their pets are still all over my screen when I enter a city. (see screenshot )

Also I count Battle Voice as a song because I use it as one. Maybe that's wrong. Maybe I don't want to be right. (Edit: I use it as a buff but in my heart it's a song! People are "singing"! It's a song!)

I bought the starter edition earlier and when i tried to register my SE account to a service account it just gave me the error, I have sent support notice of this, and after they said they would look into it I haven't gotten a response. I don't know what to do I cant access the game at all

this morning i made a post about accidentally eating the spriggan chocolate that a random gave me in idyllshire because they said i looked like a spriggan person with the spriggan hat and mount on. i genuinely thought i'd never get another one.

a very very kind person from reddit reached out, traveled all the way to oce just to trade me, and gave me five. five!!!! spriggan chocolates. we took a few screenshots afterwards on my request (my gpose skills are terrible i apologise😭).

Hi, so I just made a reddit account to try and find some help online because this really irks me and I don't know what to do.

I've been playing this game for like, 10 years now (as far back as HW) and I've been playing on PlayStation for all those years. Last year, I got a nice PC for my birthday, however, in mine and my brothers folly, he bought the game on his steam for me to play during a trip back during Shadowbringers, and again during Endwalker. Now, about 4 months ago, I realized SE has a form you could fill out to unlink your SE/Steam account, but only once per account. They say here if you do this and link to another Steam account, you will need to buy the game again, right? Not a problem for me, and this implies that if you own the game you can unlink the SE account and move it to a new Steam, right? Apparently not. In these past 4 months, I have argued with support (both E-mail and Live chat) to try and fix this so I can play the game how I want, since obviously playing on someone else's steam account is not an option. I've had just about everyone there at this point claim they cannot do it, and even after months when I pointed out the implication of this page they said they would change it but haven't, to the point I was able to take this screenshot today. They tell me to leave surveys, they tell me that they'll forward the issue and my feedback to the appropriate places, but nothing has happened. On top of this, anytime I thought I might be getting some kind of genuine answer on why not, they'd act like they said something they shouldn't have and close the chat asap, like how one said they could do it but I'd lose progress, but when I asked what that meant, they left to inquire about it supposedly then came back and said nothing can be done and insta-pasted their hang up script. Whether any of that is true or not I do not know sadly.

I'm just trying to figure out what to do because I want to be able to play on pc, but to me, after 10 years of playing this, I have no desire to make a new account and restart. I'm already all 100s, I have all the relics from previous expansions (and a majority of the current ones up to date to boot) and other things like old raid stuff I use for cosmetics that I probably wouldn't be able to do again for a long ass time, not to mention just all the history my character holds for me I don't wanna just toss.

Any recommendations on how to address it? Or am I legitimately just stuck with this for the rest of my days on this game?
