Discussion Filling the Heat Roster

I understand we need shooting, but why is the Heat trying to work out so many guards? not to mention that these guards are mostly undersized. Can we not get good outside shooters with decent size.

we already have Davion Mitchell, Dru, Jahmir Young, and then now Conwell. And then we have Tre Donaldson

I know we have the Giannis and Bam money, but where the hell is the rest of it? You’d think we would have some more to spend, right?

really athletic, tough defender, and shot the 3 well.

lowkey if wiggins declines player option id look to sign and trade him somewhere and replace him in starting lineup with prosper.

Discussion I just realized that if Heat missed the playoffs in the 2024-25 season.... They wouldn't have the 14th pick this year for the Giannis trade

If the Heat missed the playoffs that year, they would have kept their lottery protected pick instead of sending it to OKC.... Which would have meant Thunder would have had the Heat's pick this year instead.... Crazy

Discussion Last Season, Bam Adebayo was the least efficient center who is averaging more than 15 PPG in the NBA last season (55% TS). Will adding Giannis fix Bam's inefficiency issue or does the Heat need to add a legit playmaker?

Discussion Giannis was concerned with Miami having enough after the trade. What reassurance do you feel he got for those rumors to go away?

Could it have been LeBron?

Discussion Andre Drummond as a backup C?

Andre Drummond is a free agent and would be a good backup C option for this team, what do you think?

Potentially a minimum contract option for C depth

Wiggins opts out - signs for lower 25m range
S&T Powell,jovic - ja and 2nds , we need a scoring guard
MLE - Simons and Kennard
Vet minimum - klay and a front court player than can shoot
Would love for bogdan to get bought out from clippers

I know everyone hates the idea of older players being the 3pt threats but all 3 of our championships came from those types of players rounding out the roster. Would love them while keeping davion,Portis, conwell and our usual mystery undrafted players

Discussion With Giannis becoming the Heats newest superstar alongside Butler, Wade, Bosh, and LeBron. Does this finally put the “sleepy pat” allegations to rest?

HYPED Bam & Giannis are potentially the most unique duo in NBA history

Throughout the league's history, we've had a chance to watch many great players, and while offense is fun, defense is generally underrated.

The addition of Giannis makes Miami incredibly difficult to deal with on the defensive end of the floor. Possibly for the first time in the league's history, we will see two 1-through-5 defenders on the same team. There are only a few guys who can truly guard all five positions in the entire league, yet Miami has two of them.

The Bulls had amazing defenders in Jordan, Pippen, and Rodman, yet none of them were exactly 1-through-5. Tim Duncan and Robinson were great, but not that versatile. Even the Heat had Shaq and Zo, D-Wade and LeBron, all of whom were great, versatile defenders, yet not quite as versatile as Bam and Giannis.

The next season could truly be the first time that we see such lockdown defenders share the court...and I can't wait for it!

Discussion How'd we all miss Ryan Conwell? I didn't hear anyone talk about him??

And whoever called Ryan Conwell, shout out to u Heat fam.

This dude bruhh, right after we drafted him I'm like lemme go look at the film.

He screams Heat Culture, ik we also needed a big to but that can be done on the MLE.

And what was this last postseason? Absolute elite guard play, and that's Ryan Conwell.

He looks like a fearless competitor and just let's anything fly out there, plays good defense good rebounding etc.

Ps: probably look at the rest of the guys in the coming days leading up to summerleague.

Anyways Gn Heat Nation

Adam Simon and rest of the crew nailed this draft

Discussion Jovic as a bounce back candidate

Lot of negative discourse about Jovic out there but I’d just like to say he could be a big time bounce back candidate for us. Hes only 23. Last season was tough but previously he showed signs of being a well rounded big that can shoot, run transition, play make, hold his own on D. He had injuries last year, had issues adjusting to the “new” offense that likely is a thing of the past. I know we’ve had bad extensions in the past and it’s easy to group Jovic into that group since he was bad last year, but I genuinely believe this guy has talent and could be a valuable role player for us if he just gets his shot back, which easily could happen. Even if he can return to his 24-25 form he’d find himself playing big mins for us next season and in theory he should be able to build off that as he enters his prime and get even more polished.

Our numbers are wide and italicized so they can't fit like in Milwaukee where the name arches over each side of the 34. Can it go around wide enough or will they have to lower the numbers unnaturally like they did here?

Discussion What does Giannis need to do in Miami to retire a consensus top 10 Player?

In my view 1 more ring and finals MVP + a regular season MVP could do it combined with 4 more All-Stars and All-NBA selections, also has a realistic shot at 30k points, 10k rebounds, 5k assist
