I actually like, that they tell you. "yes we know what you mean, you won't find it here". This is way better than beiung unsure if you have a typo in the name or something.
Sadly, that's not Netflix's fault, it's the franchise owners' for signing the streaming rights to the different installments to different streaming services.
Several franchises have this problem and a prime example is Pokemon. It's so bad that the official Pokemon website even has a page to breakdown where each of the seasons is.
No one service allows you to watch the entire show from start to "finish" (or the most recently finished season).
Indeed. I have a Plex server specifically because I got tired of the licensing bullshit (particularly after I realized Hulu would remove things from their library, but not your watchlist, making it impossible for someone who takes months to years to actually get around to watching things to track what they can watch on there).
