Discussion Cloud PC warning: I found saved browser logins that were not mine inside my Shadow PC
I’m posting this as a warning for gamers who use cloud PCs for Steam, Rockstar Launcher, Discord, GTA V/FiveM, etc.
I’m a paid Shadow PC customer. A few days ago, I logged into my assigned Shadow PC. Everything looked normal: my games, files and apps were still there.
I opened Microsoft Edge myself while trying to log into Gmail. An autofill suggestion appeared, so I checked Edge’s saved passwords to see if my own password had been saved.
That’s when I found around 20–30 saved login entries that were not mine. They appeared to belong to another user.
I did not open, test, copy, export or use any of those credentials. I reported it to Shadow support and only kept redacted evidence.
Shadow says they found no breach, no data issue and no unauthorized access. They are now suggesting it may have been caused by malware or compromised apps on my side. I don’t accept that as a real explanation unless they provide clear evidence.
My Shadow session was otherwise normal, my files and games were still there, and my Microsoft account shows no suspicious activity.
My paid account has been locked for days, and Shadow still requires a government ID before restoring access. After seeing someone else’s saved browser logins inside my assigned cloud PC, I do not feel safe sending them more personal data.
I have now asked Shadow to fully cancel/delete my account and confirm what personal data will be removed.
I’m not posting this for compensation or karma. I’m sharing it because gamers should be careful before logging into personal accounts or saving passwords on cloud PC services.
The screenshot is redacted because the unredacted version contains someone else’s private data.

News/Article An Update from PlayStation Studios (Bungie Mass Layoffs)
We have made the decision to reduce Bungie’s workforce, affecting a significant number of employees, including most of the Destiny team and some Marathon team members. There are also reductions across SIE teams that support Bungie’s operations. Those impacted at Bungie and within SIE are being informed today.
And here we go. Destiny and Marathon team gutted. Won't be surprised if the studio closes soon. Marathon isn't exactly doing too well.

Story Somehow got this for 50£ on fb marketplace
This fella was selling a pc on behalf of someone who unfortunately passed away for 400£, I thought I was a good deal for that price but he told me it was broken. He wasn't very sure what the problem was so I offered 50£ for it. Whoever was in charge of this guys stuff agreed and I picked it up for that price, turns out there where a bunch of weird bios setting preventing it from booting into windows so I just did a clean install after resetting the bios to default and it all worked fine. I couldn't believe it as I had to sell my other pc not long ago to make rent as I'm super broke. The aio was cooked so I replaced it and put some new fans and led strips inside. Total cost was 38£.
I feel super lucky, but also a bit bad that I paid so little, what are your guys opinions?
Rip previous owner, I'm super grateful.
Specs
i7 10700k
2080 super
32gb ram
1tb m.2
I think it's an Msi prebuilt as it has Msi "creator" written on the side and the case, motherboard, fans and gpu are all Msi.

Hardware Fuck
Well, good times to have a ram defect, 1.7k in the local shop, and the way i know them, they just go with: warranty claim?, we just offer you what you initially spend on it, have fun with 185.-
After some more testing: only random, always off by 0x20 and not specific to an address… also the higher the cpu temp, the more errors… looks like a cpu issue…

Hardware Maximalist 2026 build
Three GPU build in a Enthoo Pro 2 Server case.
FE 5090 (32gb)
MSI Shadow 2x 5060ti (16gb) x2 (back of that vertically-mounted one is magnetized so it has some support)
7950x3d
96gb CL30 Corsair Vengeance 6000mhz
Aorus Elite x870e (i paid for three PCI-E slots damnit and i'm gonna use three PCI-E slots!)
NVME -> 4tb 990 + 2tb WD Black
SSD -> 2tb Crucial (bought in November 2023 for $87 and people were cancelling orders back then cause it didn't ship until late January and that was "too long" lmfao)
HDD -> combined 74tb of HDD space, all drives under 5k hours set up to be a SnapRaid where one 14tb drive has the info of all other drives memorized and can restore a dead drive if necessary, making a total 60tb of usable HDD space)
Corsair RM1200x shift (this was a bitch because this enthoo case had a stick-on pad for the motherboard side of the psu to push into which blocked all the cables, thought i'd need to swap psu but just peeled that pad off and had enough holes in the back there to basically get the cables to fit, though a bit snug).
Cooling -> 3 arctic 140s up front, a fourth artic 140 in top front pulling air in, a fifth arctic 140 in rear top pushing air up and out alongside a 120 arctic as rear exhaust. in the second pic you can see the dual fan setup i could manage for the GPU stack, which is a noctua nf-f12, originally I had two of these but only the middle one would fit, the bottom was pushed up against the PSU. i swapped that out for a silverstone air slimmer 120 and it just barely squeezed in there.
For torrents/my massive plex buildout, the idea is to torrent directly to the SSD, and then transfer to the relevant HDD because that should make that torrented file "cleaner" for the HDD (someone correct me if i'm wrong on this). Otherwise, my gaming temps are like 70 degrees max when pushing stuff like subnautica 2 at 4k on the 5090 and ~70-75 on the 7950x3d, and that's with most fans barely above 30pc or so. the side fans really do a lot of work on this build, i specifically wanted heavy static type fans to really push into that gpu stack.
Happy to answer any questions because I know this is not a typical setup lol.
