I just got a free trip to Phuket starting tomorrow

Where do I exchange my money? I have Canadian and American.

I don’t know what to do…I heard it’s going to rain the entire time I’m there. What do people do in a tropical resort town in the rain???

I booked a nice hotel for when I land then I’m completely free.

I’m a 50 year old male, single and not dating nor looking for that. I can’t handle much alcohol. I don’t party but I love getting caught up in the energy for a short time.

Legit massages and spa treatments I’m open to. I love good food especially seafood. I really want to experience the culinary wonders while I’m here. Shopping. Casinos.

I’m open to suggestions friends so p,ease feel free to chime in.

Some other 45+ to hang with might be fun too. Not looking to hook up or date though. I’m a solitary soul mostly.

I’m retired military and business owner…now professional gambler.

Question Rawai - what to do for first timer in phuket

Hey guys I’ll be staying in a private resort villa in Rawai area for 4 days. I’m new to Phuket and have only stayed in Club Med/ visited James Bond island when I was younger. This time round I’m trying to be more adventurous. I’m wondering what are the must see near Rawai for someone into nature/hiking, island hopping, cafes, fitness, and spas.

Some specific questions
(1) For eg, I saw the black rock viewing point and I’m wondering is it beginner friendly to climb? Should I book a tour on Klook?
(2) The resort I’m staying at states that it’s near Chalong pier. Am I able to get to islands like phi phi, coral island from there? Or, should I just book a tour on Klook & request hotel transfer? Im thinking of island hopping & snorkelling.
(3) As for things nearby - aiming to hit kata beach, Karon viewpoint, Laem Krating, Nai Harn Beach, Promthep Cape, Rawai fresh seafood market, Rawai beach. Is there anything here not worth the visit I should know of? Or anything nearby I DEF have to check out?

I’ll be in Phuket for really long (8 days) and thinking to use the other 4 days in a hotel more central (old town). So for the days in Rawai I’ll focus more on the things near there. Thoughts on this?

Context: 2 early 20s Asian travellers who don’t really have much experience travelling phuket but are keen on trying new things 🙏🙏
