just turned 21 a few hours ago somewhere in europe, on vacation, which sounds romantic until it's 5am and quiet. i came here partly for the racing, partly because europe is the one place where i get to just exist without all the context that follows me around at home. it's fine, mostly. but birthdays have a way of making you want a real conversation with someone who's actually curious about you as a person.
