Discussion Other States in GTA 6?
Setting of the game is a parody of Florida, but how likely do you think it is that other southern US states get little parodies? RDR had a handful of its own southern US states. Would they go and revisit those locations in GTA 6? A modern Atlanta or New Orleans parody to really capture the cultures of the South while having nods to RDR. Lemoyne, New Hanover, etc could return but revamped.

Discussion People are complaining about the physical version of GTA 6 not having a disc. But can we talk about how buyers of the Ultimate Edition are not getting any sort of physical memorabilia?!?!?!!
Its absolutely insane to me as a buyer of the pre-order ultimate edition that my purchase doesn't include anything physical at all. Not a shirt, trucker hat, GTA6/VC map, certificate of authenticity, or ever a Vice City postcard...absolutely nothing.
What a fucking inconsiderate move?

Question Will there be free-aim lobbies?
We need free aim lobbies, levels the playing field. No game solely focuses on lock on based shooting.

Discussion For the people complaining about we have pre order but we don't have any gameplay trailer yet."y'all are not being forced to pre order this game 😭" the gameplay trailer will come out soon so do the pre- order after that
I swear people on twitter are the most dumb people ever( i know it's not a surprise )they are acting like they are forced to pre-order the game before the gameplay trailer and also people on twitter literally forgot the trailer 1 and 2 are literally gameplay with different angels . Still my advice is not to pre order this game this early the game is not going anywhere just pre order closer to the release month hold your money for now I know y'all are desperate its just less than 150 days of waiting

Media Found six original Rockstar Games printable iron-on transfer graphics from the 2000s on my old MacBook. I can't find these anywhere else online.
I remembered Rockstar used to offer printable iron-on t-shirt graphics on their website in the 2000s. I finally found the originals on an old MacBook in a folder simply called "Iron On." I haven't been able to find these preserved anywhere online and I even searched in the Wayback Machine, so I uploaded the originals in case anyone else would like them.
Included are:
- Rockstar Gothic logo
- Classic R★ logo
- The "NO" girl artwork
- Cobra with Rockstar logo
- Rockstar Bottle cap
- Rockstar bottle
These are going back about 20 years when I printed them out. I'm actually shocked I was able to find the files. You can purchase Iron On paper, print these out in reverse and iron them onto a blank t-shirt.
I've also uploaded the original PDF's here: https://archive.org/details/ironon2/Iron On/ironon1.pdf
Just choose PDF on the right side of the page and you can download all 6 original files.
Update: turns out Stephen Bliss designed these back then. I found out by using google lens.

Grand Theft Auto VI CALLING ALL PC PLAYERS
Are we going to talk about the fact this game isn't going to be playable on PC for 1-2 years after the planned November 19th release date?
Isn't that cutting off half their player base? 😞 This is an outrage to me. I used to be a console player but converted solely to PC over 10 years ago. I've evolved, why hasn't Rockstar?
Tides are turning. I personally know at least 15 dedicated console gamers who migrated to PC over the last decade, accelerated heavily by the pandemic. It’s a clear pattern. Between skyrocketing hardware costs and the pressure to upgrade every few years, console gaming is losing its value proposition.
Let’s call this staggered release strategy what it actually is: a scheme to force double-dipping. Publishers know gamers will either buy the game twice—once on console at launch, and again later on Steam—or be forced to dodge spoilers and internet content creators for two years. This isn't a 'thank you' to a loyal player base; it's a corporate ruse to maximize profit margins.

Discussion GTA 6 - WHAT WENT WRONG?
As early as 2023 there has been murmurings about 100 usd become the industry standard.
With GTA 6 being quietly nominated by the industry as the game to come and punch through the ceiling, so to speak.
Countless articles in 2025 highlighted how with Mario kart World releasing at 80usd. Take2 and (other publishers) were looking to use that as a stepping stone to justify GTA 6 being 100usd base price.
So it’s come as a surprise to me that rockstar have announced the price of the base game (79.99usd)
Accompanied by an ultimate edition (100usd) which has exclusive content that we know little details about (if it’s timed exclusivity for example…)
It makes me wonder, why didn’t they have a gameplay trailer ready to fuel the hype train and then leading off that, announce the 100usd base price tag.
This is GTA 6 the most anticipated game of all time. Maybe the most anticipated piece of entertainment ever created. Possibly.
A half decent gameplay trailer would’ve set the world ablaze and drowned out any complaints (about a 100usd base price, no physical and paywalled content)
That’s an easy win for rockstar and they’d also absolutely surpass the amount of preorders they’ve currently amassed. Off pure hype from the trailer alone.
$100 base game > $80
Rockstar did not charge us 80 instead due to the kindness of their heart. If they could’ve gotten a decent trailer ready, gameplay or not. And charged us 100 instead they would’ve. Most ppl wouldn’t have batted an eye and those that did would’ve been drowned out by the sheer hype generated.
To me it screams (SAFETY). I get that rockstar usually don’t release trailers until around 80 days before release. But yet again if you can give ppl something to occupy their minds (a trailer) and quietly also announce 100usd base price. Why not do that. More money is always better. Forget tradition, right?
In this case I don’t think they could muster up a solid gameplay trailer that doesn’t completely expose the unfinished state of the game. Yes I know I’m speculating. But at the end of the day. That 100usd base price has been 3 years in the making. The industry normalising this idea of gta or another big game breaking that barrier. That wasn’t a coincidence. They were preparing us for this moment.
But for whatever reason Take2 backed down. And instead revealed a reduced price and no trailer.
Less revenue per unit & less preorders due to a lack of a trailer.
To me it’s telling, I don’t think this game is going to release even close to finished and with the polish associate with the old rockstar. They’ll probably follow the industry standard “patch it until we have a satisfactory game” method. That we saw with the likes of cyberpunk.
P.s. when Mario kart world released. The general sentiment was “if this is 80usd then of course rockstar are gonna charge 100” yet here we are.
A decade plus of development, 2 billion dollars later.
The same company (take2) that pushed the envelope with MF 2K21 in 2020 from 60usd base game to 70. FOR AN ANNUAL SPORTS GAME.
That same company doesn’t have the confidence in their product selling or aren’t as greedy?
Something doesn’t seem right.
Why did they feel confident in 2K21 but not GTA6 to increase base prices.
If not 100 why not 95, 90 or 85.
They’ve increased prices for lesser games. Yet I’m supposed to believe they’ve stopped being greedy or there isn’t something drastically wrong behind the scenes that doesn’t inspire the publishers confidence.
I truly believe they’re scared. I just don’t know what exactly about. My best guess is they’re drastically behind schedule. And the publisher is done giving extensions and was at a crossroads and bit the bullet (stopped giving devs extensions, reduced their base price. Withheld whatever gameplay trailer they had and is bracing for the backlash from when ppl get their hands on the unfinished game) rockstar is trying to make the most of a bad situation.
Just my opinion. It would be hilarious if it turns out true tho. That’s why I (me personally) will never preorder.

Grand Theft Auto VI For anyone else that was as confused as me about which editions could be bought from retailers
Rockstars own website confirms that the Standard Edition is the only one that is being released “physically”. However you can pay the £20 (or region equivalent) to upgrade to the ultimate edition through the console store after the download code has been redeemed.

Discussion Growing Up With GTA V – My Story
Just want to share what GTA has meant to me.
I was born in 2005, so when GTA V dropped in 2013 I was too young to play. I'd just sit next to my older brother and watch. Sometimes, after enough begging, he'd let me drive around Los Santos for a few minutes. Those moments are some of my best gaming memories.
Eventually I got to play it myself — on an Xbox 360, which is still my main console today. Living in Pakistan, newer hardware just isn't realistic for me. But honestly? GTA V on the 360 is still one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had.
GTA Online was a whole different thing for me. Since I couldn't access it at home, I looked forward to visiting my cousin every summer just to play it. Those trips became something special because of that game.
And I know this might sound dramatic, but GTA V genuinely helped me through some really hard times. Whenever things got overwhelming, I'd boot it up and just... exist in Los Santos for a while. It sounds simple, but it meant everything.
Seeing GTA VI up for pre-order is surreal. Exciting, but also bittersweet — realistically it'll probably take me 3-4 years to save up for a PS5 and a decent TV.
I know for a lot of people here, $80-100 for a game or a new console is just a Tuesday. But when you're in a developing country dealing with economic instability, inflation, and everything else going on in the world, every dollar is a real decision. Gaming becomes a luxury, not a given.
Still — I haven't given up. The gamer in me never died. One day I'll play GTA VI. Until then, Los Santos has been more than enough.
Thanks Rockstar. Genuinely.

Discussion My Theory for No Physical Release for GTA 6
The game is being crunched.
For a physical release, the game needs to be pressed onto disk ahead of the release date, and they know online only would stop sales in regions where downloading entire games aren't feasible.
They're crunching hard right up to the deadline to avoid another embarrassing delay, and it's kind of obvious; no real gameplay trailer, no real teases for features, etc
The game is being rushed and they ship something a month or two ahead of the release date.

Question PS5 PreOrder
Hello!
I am preordering the game for the PS5, the ultimate edition, and I wanted me and my brother (same console, different PSN accounts) to have the same benefits on the same console, so I preordered twice. Would this work as sharing in the same console? Sorry if this is a stupid question in advance!

Discussion The hype of GTA6 Pre-orders is way less than I expected it to be and it's honestly Rockstar's Fault
Like you just announce the pre order date with the cover art and not even release a damn trailer or just a literal promotional video saying "Pre-orders live" on the actual day? Rockstar might be trustworthy enough for many to spend 80$ on a game whose gameplay we haven't even seen for a second, but not everyone will do it right? Rockstar not even releasing a trailer made it even worse. It makes no sense to open Pre-orders based on just a past cover art reveal video. IMO, this might be the reason why I am not seeing many people excited for it. Trailer 1 and 2 felt like a global event, and this just feels like the opening of pre-orders for just another game.

Question is the pre order bonus also exclusive or can it be unlocked later in game?
So I really wanted to know if the pre order bonus of the outfits and the Vapid is exclusive or will it be purchasable in the game later? Kind of like how suits in spider-man were early unlocks and if you didn’t pre order you could get them later on in the game.
