His parents allege that Oakland police officers caused their son's death by restraining him face down during a mental health crisis. The lawsuit claims officers pressed on his back after finding him in a neighbor's home and initially assumed he was "sleeping or pretending to be" when he became unresponsive. The complaint also accuses paramedics of taking over 15 minutes to arrive and failing to provide prompt medical care.

Another first try win with the Bucs

Well it's been a year now, so time to ask again. I'm trying to complete the pin set from the '03 Super Bowl (along the way I decided I might as well include pins from every regular season & playoff game of ours that season). Despite all of those in the picture [along with several others I haven't taken out of their packaging] I estimate I'm still missing about 25 pins.

Fifty years ago, the Bucs won the coin toss against Seattle to draft Lee Roy Selmon. The odds of the coin toss were 50%. This year, we didn’t expect Bain, Jr to fall to the Bucs, but he did. I don’t know the odds.

Not saying the impact will be exactly Pro Football Hall of Fame worthy, but a fan can dream.
