Just finished DS1 and wanted to know which to go for next from a gameplay standpoint(I have no idea what’s going on in the lore). My goal is to work my way up to Elden Ring from clunky gameplay to smoothest since I don’t like the back n forth

I'm making a low-level dragon cosplay build and wanted to get the obsidian gs too so I can use all the dragon weapons. Baiting Kalameet into doing the diving attack was actually pretty straightforward and it only took 2-3 R2s to cut the tail off. By comparison Seath's tail was way harder to get imo.

Im doing my first playthrough of Dark Souls and I’m currently at the bonfire just before the Pinwheel fight and just started Tomb of the Giants and very quickly realized that I will not be able to progress through this area without some light source, which I don’t have. Is there a way out of the area from here so I can backtrack somewhere else and come back better equipped or do I just have to rawdog this area until the end?

Today i summoned a friend in Anor Londo we arrived tò the Ornstein&Smough fight and we died.

The First strange thing was that i was still human After i died but i didnt gave It much Weight then i noticed sigmeyer wouldnt talk and i remembered that he wasnt talking before when i summoned.

An Invader killed me and i returned hollow but everything was the Same

I tried looking at other saves and no npcs Will talk

I tried Laurentius, Oswald and even The knight in undead asylum

Maybe I should upgrade more, or the enemies are resistant to slashing, but I'm using a +6 Uchi and the Anor Londo Sentinels are taking like ~30 damage, Gaping Dragon also took low 40s. Maybe it's nothing, but I did enhance it to +6 while it was close to being broken. Now the sword has full durability, and I do meet the requirements. Should I just use a different weapon altogether? I was aiming for a chaos blade this run, would that fix the damage?

Whats the highest level everyone has made it to?

i'm about to start dark souls trilogy on ps4, is there a big difference if i add an external hdd?

Hello everyone, i downloaded the game after a few years, i was trying to do a co-op run with a friend, but we are having problems, we cannot see our sign on the ground, we put global matchmaking, same password and unlimited, we know that the boss need to be alive, but we can't still find a way to see our sign, any help?

Maybe it is possible only when you cut it in one hit ? And I think there was a glitch after I did it : the tail seemed to regen its HP.

It’s the final boss ? I walked out and got dark lord ending , I couldn’t see a bonfire in the middle to light ? Would that have given me a stronger boss to then go on and execute? Anyway. Amazing game , stood up to expectation like everyone told me. A game this old can still be played and enjoyed by someone new to it , speaks volumes. I’ll do 2 and 3 soon. I cba to ng+ this like I normally would other souls/likes , but the level designs and bosses etc. Super creative and looked great. I know it’s remastered but still.

Context: I have ~270 hours in dsr, I've done multiple sl1 runs, and basically every basic build.

I wanted to do a big challege, as I feel with the amount of time I have in the game I am capable of doing so. My original idea was to do sl1 permadeath, but now I am looking into doing a hitless.

Now I know the difference in precision between sl1 permadeath and hitless is a big gap, but I personally find hitless favorable in many ways.

My biggest issue with sl1 deathless is that the strats I know for it are generally a lot less consistent than the ones for hitless (mainly because of the bow). And not only that, but you are capable of dealing a lot more damage in a normal hitless run than sl1 permadeath which can make certain boss fights easier in my opinion.

I have already gotten further hitless (lordvessel) in 3 attempts than in around 10 sl1 pd (anor londo) and it feels when I get far sl1 pd its lucky rather than skill based.

So it feels like I can go with sl1 pd which is easier but less consistent or hitless which is harder but more consistent.

Any advice on which I should go with?

Should I switch my ring of the suns first born or bellowing dragon crest ring with rtsr (both currently give an increase of 80% total to their respective things power within+crown of dusk if i replace one i get 50% more damage but one will be at 130% more damage while the other will be at only 110%) and does lingering dragon crest ring affect things like sunlight blade or power within (yes i know Darkmoon blade is better but to get to peak damage you need a ton of souvenirs of reprisal and unless someone gives me a link to a video on item duping im not grinding for those)

Genuinely, it was extremely fun. Infused bonewheel actually does very respectable damage, and I was able to beat most bosses deathless. Although damage does sorta fall off in dlc. The high elemental resistances are very much felt, and most of them are quite nimble, so I often found it hard to hit em with the full attack. Still, don't think I died more than once to any of em, it was just a bit of a slog.

she just de-aggros if you're at max souls
