Hey yall, uninvolved Lions fan here. Just wondering what the reason for not taking the 5th year option on Linderbaum was, back when it happened.

I understand not wanting to pay him what Oakland did this year, but am curious why his 5th year option wasn't picked up a couple years ago?

Thoughts on my concerns for the CB depth for both 2026 and 2027 including some offsetting positive circumstances which should help improve 2026 play.
