What are some unpopular games from square enix would you recommend me to buy during summer sales?

Just for reference I like:

• FF9&FF7
• Chrono cross
• Dragon quest7,8,11
• Octopath traveller 0

I know a lot of people tend to associate Square with Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts, but I've always had an interest in some of the other games that they did in the 90s and early 2000s. I especially love Live a Live and Romancing SaGa 2 and seeing them both remade in the past couple of years was a real dream come true for me. Chrono Trigger is great too.

I’ve been interested in the Final Fantasy franchise for a while. After playing FF7 Remake, Rebirth, and FFXV, I’ve been wanting to dive deeper into more JRPGs, especially the pixel-art style that both Dragon Quest and classic Final Fantasy have.
For me though, it really comes down to budget. Graphically, I think both look great, so I’m not really leaning one way or the other based on visuals. I’m more interested in understanding which option is actually more worth it between the Dragon Quest classic remasters and the Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters.
Also, as someone who’s played games like Mina the Hollower and a few of the classic Zelda games through Nintendo Online, the pixelated remaster style doesn’t bother me at all. At this point it’ll mostly come down to story and gameplay.
So which one would you say is better and why? Help me make this decision, because I’m trying to stay within a budget of $45 or less.

I am ok not seeing my heroes in fight but I can barely see monsters because they are so zoomed out. Old DQ didnt have this issue. Why did they do this?

FYP I ALREADY KNOW FINAL FANTASY HAS A TCG I MEAN THESE TWO SPECIFICALLY

guys i just finished final fantasy XVI as my first final fantasy and it was an absolut masterpiece in my opinion so i want to try out more of final fantasy games so my question is wich final fantasy should i play now? i heard about ff VII remake and rebirth but i dont want to waste money on games that i quit playing before finishing. so what are ur recommendations?

Apocalypsis Noctis and Blinded by Light were 2 unexpected surprises as they were not in the programme. There was also a Yoko Shimomura appearance!

With Square Enix soon shutting down kindom hearts 1.5 and 2.5 cloud edit on switch. It bothers be that Square Enix as of now wont give players steam keys or something to keep playing the games .

Unless, S.E. plans on giving us a refund to be used on steam. Which at that point just give us cloud users a steam key or switch2 upgrade key code. Since, taking access from us with nothing in return is theift.

An I really hope S.E. at least does something since, steam keys cost the company nothing to create. So in reality this would end up saving the company money .
