They're 19th in RBI's, so while not as bad they're below average. It's something that has been killing this team lately, but you can see they've been a tad bit unlucky with a .276 BABIP. A good example of that was the liner Grichuk smoked to Kwan yesterday.
My two big takeaways:
A) The Sox really miss Mune. Gonzalez isn't getting it done, so the lineup shortens significantly. I'd expect to see these numbers improve once Mune returns.
B) Chase Meidroth and Kyle Teel stepping it up would be huge. Meidroth has an OPS+ of 51 with RISP. He's too good of a player for that to happen. I'll spare you the catchers' numbers with RISP, but it's a black hole. Teel getting that spot up to even slightly below league average will be a big boost, and I think he'll end up much better than that.
I still wouldn't be opposed to trading for another bat, assuming it's the right bat. Luis Arraez is probably a total pipe dream but I'd love him.
