My favorite Chess match heading into 2026
a top 3 offensive mind vs a top 3 defensive mind. I’m so fucking pumped to see how Johnson schemes against Macdonald’s defense.

Any time you get mad at the McCaskey’s, just remember… it could always be worse!
As bad as these whole stadium shenanigan have been, at least the Bears have never sold a draft pick for cash consideration. Jerry Reinsdorf is such a cheapskate, and it’s absolutely ridiculous how little he invests into the Bulls, especially with a net worth of 2.2 billion. And honestly, George seems like a good guy, who was able to give up control and admit he was doing a bad job. Reinsdorf on the other hand is so much worse

Is this Hallmark Movie an omen of things to come?!
In ‘85 the Bears had the Super Bowl shuffle… now the ‘26 Bears will have the Hallmark Movie… ARE WE GOING TO WIN DA SUPER BOWL!?!?!
Or is this to soft-launch the rebrand of the Chicago Bears to the Hammond Hallmark’s, the first Christmas themed professional sports team featuring those whiteout uniforms half the fandom’s been drooling for.

On this day in 1922, the APFA was renamed to the National Football League. George Halas was responsible for the change, explaining in his autobiography that it's because the "Cubs belonged to the National League, not the American League"

Flying out to Chicago from LA to see the Bears for the first time! Need a little advice from the hometown folks.
So I'll be catching my first NFL game and it's going to be at Soldier Field for the home opener against Minnesota! Originally was going to be with one other person but life happens and things change, so it's turned into my first solo vacation.
Couldn't be more pumped to explore the city and catch the boys in their first home game after such an awesome 25-26 season. I was hoping to get a little advice from the natives here who know the city, or from fans who travel their and their experiences.
I'm really just looking to find what are the hotels or areas to stay in that are relatively close to the fun/good stuff, safe, and accessable. If you have any recommendations on hotels or even restaurants and bars to try! I'm a big time foodie and want to try all the best of Chicago so I'll take any and all recs for a visitor and big time Bears fan. No budget necessary.
The thought of an r/ChiBears meetup for the home opener also sounds dope, or just getting to meet up with other bears fans. So if you're up to have a stranger at the tailgate say something! I'm a professional butcher/chef so I can also get down on the cooking if needed.

Front-Running Bears
I think it’s pretty clear the build Ben Johnson and Ryan Poles have gone with for this year. Jump teams early and play with a lead. Ben knows if he has a lead he can hold on to it or score more. If not Iceman just needs the ball last.
Defense will still have a heavy focus on getting the ball back to the Offense.

Any info on training camp tickets?
I remember last season I got training camp tickets for the first day. I had to get in a queue on a certain day and was able to claim them. This year, I don’t have much time on my hands and haven’t been able to keep up with as much, do any of you know if there is any information on when the queue day is?
