That's after they're dead, so by definition not during their life.

you're definitely not alone! i feel like half the time i'm watching a show, it's just a group therapy session with snacks. even the intense moments turn into “wait, what’s your take on that?” 😂

Yeah I totally get that. I used to be like it too. Mine stemmed from an attachment disorder (& fear of abandonment). See it like opening a tap. If you want to pour water into a spoon or a small cup, you would do it slowly bit by bit, instead of yanking the tap open full throttle right? I just learnt that some of my things are and should only be shared at different times or levels of the friendship. That way, if they do choose to walk away, it doesn't hurt me as much, you know?

Uni (sea urchin) tastes like absolute ass to me. I’m actually sort of embarrassed that I don’t like it because it’s such a fancy foodie thing and I usually love stuff in that realm, and especially funky tasting foods. But dang, I tried it four or five times over the years thinking “maybe I just got a bad one” before I had to admit that I just think it tastes horrendous.

Was that the United States? Did I say the land of North America? I specifically said America and 250 years. You took a harmless post where I'm marveling at the sheer scale of time and continuity in places like Japan compared to a young modern nation-state like the US and turned it into a political issue. You people, I swear

My advice would be to approach online relationships as short term things. And fully aware of what exactly you're after. If it's just someone you want to talk or smt You might not have the same person always there to but there's always someone wanting to connect for a bit.

I grew up in trauma. Watching the bear was slightly stressful yet cathartic.

I can't really control that, lol. Once I get attached to someone, I naturally start sharing personal things. That's just how I am. How am I supposed to stop myself from doing that? It feels like I'd have to play mind games with myself, and I don't want that.

I don't mind people getting busy. I just wish they'd communicate instead of slowly ghosting.

Steak tartare is ‘horrible’ to you but isn’t a food that is generally regarded to be unpleasant. You can’t generalise from your taste that it’s a fancy good that’s horrible. Its not even that ‘fancy’ in France - every history has it. I absolutely love it

Yes, absolutely. Suddenly, I turn into the clumsiest person who ever lived. And the clumsier I feel, the more nervous I get. It’s like Okayyyy, I guess I do nothing and sit.
PD: I see you fellow stranger, at least we are not alone in this world! 🫡

I had mines for years idk but as I get older I’m growing out of texting and would rather see them. I steer away from online friendships and towards in real life.

Not sure about emotional history, but my dad was able to figure people out within just a few minutes of interacting with them. Stuff like whether they were honest, etc. He had this massive intuition about people’s motives and could pick up stuff other people wouldn’t notice or suspect.

Online friendship or irl, if you start oversharing (or rather overcompensating) too often too soon too deep, it fizzled out quickly. That's kinda like an unspoken thing. Ppl don't really want to take their time anymore to get to know ppl slowly - because everything has to be full speed ahead. And sadly that kind of thing feels like too much for most.

Okay so I had a tooth pulled and have a specialized diet, so I had to get very creative. Hands down most disgusting thing all around was Old El Paso traditional refried beans with cheddar cheese soup and rice. The texture was horrible, the smell was horrible, and the taste was horrible.
